I'm with Lokash. It might make for interesting movie. I don't think I'd pay money to see it in a theater, but if it were streaming on Netflix or something, I'd probably watch it.

He's probably right. But that doesn't mean that you shouldn't still lecture him on the popularity of Squirrel Girl in the general population.

I'm interested to see what Dexter's head tattoo looks like on the figure. I don't think there was ever a really clear picture of what it was in the comic.

You can put me in the "don't care about Banshee or Gladiator" camp. I'm not big on the X-Men or outerspacey stuff. I'd much rather have Songbird (or Mockingbird for that matter).

I'm not up-to-date on comics, so when I heard Marvel NOW wave I thought "I don't know what that is, I guess I'll be skipping a wave". So, I'm really happy with this wave. I recognize all those figures. Very cool to see Sauron and Maria Hill.

Just to be annoying. That Tyreese figure isn't actually from his fight with Rick (he came out of that relatively unscathed). I wasn't planning on buying an WD magazines, but now it appears that I need issue 3. I want to see how accurate my zombie identification thread is!

I never realized how much time I spend checking this forum. Thank goodness it's back and good thing nothing interesting happened last week.

Thanks MiniFiend. I've only written reviews for movies I've seen since I started the site. I haven't retroactively reviewed anything I saw before then. I'm sure I'll get to Shaun at some point. It is a great movie. I found it to be as funny and as good.

Well, at least they were creative with their character's names: "Scooter," the friendly robot. . .scooter. And what a catchy tag line! "Robots that turn into vehicles. . ." And the elipsis at the end is so perfect. Like, they were too lazy/uninspired to even finish it Don't forget their sweet-ass theme song: "The Go-Bots.....The Go-Bots...............THE GO-BOTS!!!!"

I hope the eventual Squirrel Girl minimate isn't this hard to get.

We have a Morgan figure. He doesn't show up again until well after the prison. I don't think we can pin the figures down to one time frame, they're obviously not all going to go in chronological order. I'm hoping we get Abraham and Eugene before Jim or Allen.

I prefer to read stories an arc at a time, but I pick up monthly comics because I don't have the willpower. If the next part of the story is out there, I want to read it! I do find myself rereading a couple of issues back because I forget stuff month to month. I also find that spoilers show up all over the place (seeing upcoming covers could spoil something if you're behind) . So while I prefer an arc at a time, fear and obsession keep me reading month to month.

Spoilers are much more abundant than sharks. You should go in the ocean and body surf, dude. You're missing out.

I hope that it is Peter Pan and DST experiments with kid mates. That way, if they stink, toss the idea in the trash. If they look good, make Carl, Sophia, Penny, and Invincible's little brother.

Saved from what? they were doing just fine without TRU and look in just the last week or two how many people have posted their frustration with the way the TRU system(doesn't)work and that they may stop trying to get them. you think that helps the line? Five. Five people said they were stopping collecting Minimates because they couldn't get exclusives. Even though fellow board members saints kept saying "YOO-HOO, I HAVE THEM!" And just because sets of Minimates were coming out doesn't mean they were doing fine. Having mass market support is key to a low-price-point line's continued existence. (And yes, these are a low price point. Sideshow and Hot Toys don't need TRU. Minimates do, although Walmart would do in a pinch.) Uh... we aren't selling out to Disney. I can't imagine what situation would result in which Disney (and we've been working for Disney for a few years now!) would dictate what other products we make. They may not buy them for their stores, but as long as TRU and/or comic shops want an item, that won't affect us -- and we will always sell products to the specialty market, because we're sister companies with the largest distributor of English-language comic books in the world. Disney knows we make Femme Fatales, guys. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: HELLPOP GETS IT. This exclusive assortment has not cancelled a series of Minimates you wanted. It is IN ADDITION to everything we currently make. It is NOT a long-term line we will be putting all of our manpower on. It IS outside of our normal wheelhouse. It WILL (I hope) introduce more people to Minimates. I have a great respect for completists, but I know there are relatively few of them here. I see plenty of people who go out of their way to say they WON'T be buying a series/set/what have you. I hope all of you can restrain yourselves when you see a product you absolutely don't want on the pegs/shelf/Internets. Or wait until February, see what else is coming, and make a decision then. I doubt they'll sell out instantaneously. So, you're saying.....it is Peter Pan?
