  1. Spel chequer? K ,I have cringed over my inane flamenco post all day .
  2. The only way of buying Kubricks that I know of is ....expensively. THEY are geared up for it,THEY are a club. YOU will not enter this club & undercut. I buy opened/identified as this is the only way to buy them without too much hassle & not get too embittered & cynical about the whole damn business Perhaps the cheapest way to buy the buggers is.... after they are 'hot' &...... only buy a complete set including chases....including all the chases.
  3. Comedy is strange . Blackadder is wonderful yet Mr.Bean (for me) would get both barrels. Totally agree... I guess it's down to the writer rather than the actor... I don't like Atkinson, a friend of mine once asked him for an autograph (back in the blackadder days) and his response was simply to turn around and tell my mate to fuck off... I've heard other stories along the same lines too. T. Even weirder is that if someone like Cleese told me to '...Off ' I'd take it as being touched by God....a compliment perhaps! I'll perhaps take it to another level. I loved,I mean loved , Dana Scully, yet Gillian Anderson is..... OK. You know what I mean ??

  5. In my opinion, Fistful is by far the weakest of the trilogy, with TGTBATU being the minor masterpiece. I think you will be even more impressed with the sequels--then see Once Upon a Time, and be blown away. For those looking for these on DVD - TGTBATU just showed up in the $5 DVD bin at Walmart along with Fistful of Dollars. Now I just need to get FAFDM ......isn't TGTBATU the Black Panther's brother? ......you need to get FAFDM ? I'd like to get F*$k%d And F*$k%d Daily Man ,as well Oh..... they're acronyms
  6. I am one of the main critics of Davies' 'agenda'. I must stress that I have always tempered my criticism by acknowledging ,as you do Rad, that he has done a superb job of re-booting Dr.Who. I shan't start up about it again but there can be no denying some of the sub-plots are flagrantly gratuitous ...........except the ones with Kylie in them.
  7. I have collected PALz & Kubricks & long ago came to the conclusion that the 'blind-box' system is actually a subtle version of Multi-Level Marketing....buy the cases from the wholesaler ,open the blind-boxes & then corrolate your own complete set & then sell the rest off to whoever & wherever as opened boxes with disclosed figures.I have never succumbed to this method but I have occasionally bought cases when cheap. I cannot be specific about the Die Hard PALz but it is claimed that the 1:64 chase figures in the X-Files PALz were produced in very small numbers perhaps less than 150*. This claim is made in various ebay auctions hosted by Condogcollectibles http://cgi.ebay.com/PALz-X-Files-2-Quantic...id=p3911.c0.m14 *If its true then I have about 20% of all that were made Ivan once posted that he might include a PALz section in his Database ,if he ever does I would be more than happy to supply the PALz for the photo-shoot.
  8. I've read Karamazov80 's posts about 'The Texas Chain-Saw Massacre' with a certain wry smile on my face this evening. I've spent 6 hours out in the piss-pouring rain today ,fencing off a field on my farm which entails using my chain-saw. If they were to re-make TCSM & film it here, it would be hilarious. Nobody would die, nobody would even get cut because by the time anybody got the chain-saw started ...everybody would've legged it. I need a new spark-plug / chain-saw
  9. I think Hollywood should complete the 'Michael Caine trilogy'......The Italian Job , & Get Carter were apparently destroyed. I confess that I could never bring myself to watch either re-make but I really look forward to...... Zulu. Perhaps Clint could direct & we could have the film slanted towards the Zulu-perspective of the battle a la 'Flags of ...Letters from Iwo Jima'.
  10. As this thread spirals downwards with vast inputs of irony & sarcasm, measured with more than a hint of naivete, I'll stick my neck out & say that all these items will find their way to AFX after SDCC.
  11. The Minimate colander is my grail....my holey grail
  12. Avengers available for Pre-order from AFX. http://www.actionfigurexpress.com/9978871947.html
  13. Most things you read in a book of fiction are fictional. Most things you read in a non-fiction books are mostly fictional. Most of my best-friends are fictional.
  14. 15. I would love to see a 3 inch version of Tim Curry's big Satan-thing. I'm sure you would K........I'm sure you would My GF is currently laughing out-loud ...
  16. BHM, I just checked my case of moderns and there were only 450 cases of those as well. But you're right, due to the FYE Suncoast five packs there were many more moderns produced. But only 5400 moderns came in those individual boxes. Thanks Rad. I perhaps never quite realised how scarce the Classics were.
  17. I apologise for banging on about these Cylons but I just cannot get this in my head. OK, I totally accept all that has been said about the amount produced, Classics- 450 cases of 12 . That's 5400 total production with 5 different variations of Cylon in various numbers. That's correct..Yes?! There are therefore 450 Gold Battle Damaged..Yes?! So how many of the 'Moderns' were produced in cases & how many FYE Suncoasts 5 packs were produced . Surely the answer must be.... many more Moderns were produced than Classics.....Yes?
  18. ....'like remember that guy in like 1820' ......????? ......how old are you?* I beleive & I believe you do. * bhm waits for sarcastic response from cruel MMMV members who know his Achilles-heel. **edit** Thanks for the PMs I could have sworn it said colander not..........collander. I've been under a lot of...... er....er...STRAIN.
  19. So how do you explain this then ...or this.. Yes . The Mayan Colander Maker 2008 .
  20. This is definitely a subliminal warning. Apocalypse .....storm More forebodings of .........self-castration? Behold the Mayan colander from 400 BC...worryingly intact ! What does he know?
  21. What about Black Tom Cassidy, the Black King (Sebastian Shaw), Black Condor, Black Orchid, the Black Racer, the Black Hand, and the Black Sabbath box set? Jesus, how lazy are comic writers, anyway? And aren't Black Vulcan and Black Lightning basically the same character? Anybody see the Saturday Night Live sketch of Superman's funeral, where Sinbad was Black Lightning? Awesome. Found it, and isn't Al Franken a great Lex? http://onmymind1.blogspot.com/2007/03/snl-...-lightning.html Brilliant ,esp. Hulk & the reading-glasses
  22. Its nice to hear you admit how much of the plot you have lost
