Chest blocks / torso blocks seem to be an area that 'the powers that be' don't wish to be too ambitious with . That said there are exceptions to my perception /that rule but not too many I can actually think of ....can you ? I actually typed my reply before I saw Zach's comment ... I leave my opinion.

Marvel kubricks that just about everybody would enjoy as Minimates are Peter Porker ,Venom Ham & Venom Punisher . I'm not sure whether I love 'mine' just because they are brilliantly executed or whether its because I took so long to find them ? The Captain America kubrick is perhaps my favourite Marvel kubrick. Metal Gear Solid is a favourite as well . There are some pretty stunning Snake versions ,especially the promotional versions, beautifully painted .

After much deliberation I have decided upon the Panzer Cop ,Jin Roh Ken Roh (version ) . it's perfect. If you've never heard of the 'Panzer Cop' (Hellhounds legend) be warned ,once you find out about it you may well get hooked . Incidentally that license (also referred to as Kerberos ) has my favourite 1/6 figures , there are several .

Several people I know who have absolutely no interest in toys / Minimates ,when directed to the Minimate Database , become totally fascinated by it. I ,merely, collect Minimates ,what Ivan has achieved with the MMDB is just magnificent .

I realise that I'm a tiny minority & I'm glad that these are gaining lots of love but I look at these 'mates & I 'see' Peter Pan 'mates which weren't my favourites . Sorry!

Medicom (kubrick Planet of the Apes) achieved a suitable compromise by designing a saddle that allowed the (kubricks') legs to fit into .....20 years ago ,simple enough? Why not follow the same path ,then any Minimate can sit on any horse Beta Ray Bill an horse God (see what I did there?) was the closest we'd previously got .

This is a step trot in the right direction . So many ideas & bad puns come to mind ........but I'll spare you . Finally I can complete my Godfather customs .

What I'm feeling is that we may not have a horse that a Minimate can sit astride .

"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" they say . Nothing wrong with the horse but it would seem that it's rider has been up the pub & is legless .

If I were a Native American, people would know me as `Broken Record' .....I know that & I care not. That tiresome term 'exclusive' has been a 'turn-off' rather than DST 's perception that it promotes the product. The latest example ,I'm a (sceptical) new AEW Minimate / Vinimate fan so ,like everybody else I'm scratching my head about the first Vinimates AEW SDCC exclusive which is being followed up with a promo Minimate . In all fairness to DST the vinimate set was directly available from them if you knew but just try getting a reasonably priced set now !! So here we are with a new licence that is already becoming another 'excluder' rather than exclusive. Completing a Vinimate collection BTW is almost traumatic, anybody here actually go to the Puerto Rican Comic Con & pick up their Red Son exclusive ? Never forget that that beautiful yet commercially disastrous Battle Beast Minimate line ended up having just 16 retail characters ( + a Comic Heroes set of 2) . There were however 3 exclusives characters & 10 promos , 8 of those promos were released years before we actually saw one at retail !! It might just be me but the 'promotion' backfired . GI Joe ought not go the same way .
