Have you read any of his Avengers work at all? Or just nothing recent? Every writer has something they've done that didn't work, but I admire the way Bendis will play with format and try not to tell a standard story. And I must admit, I love his banter.

Glad most of you are happy to be getting at least one of these characters. Sorry it's not what many of you were expecting. Although I'm happy whenever we do something you can't predict. But anyone who doesn't know Protector... needs to read some Avengers comics from the past year.

Maria Hill was not supposed to be the variant, the General was. It was a factory error due to an assortment change. And Aunt May was going to be the variant in 46, but then we decided that we wanted people to be able to get both in equal numbers. Trying to figure out a cool variant for this series based on what appears to be winning -- luckily, pretty much everyone has a logical variation. We'll let you know.

My dream series: Capwolf/Wrecker Hydro Iron Man/Winter Soldier Songbird/Mindless One Screaming Mimi/Mindless One And we'll see how the numbers fall next year. Series 50 may need to get leapfrogged by 51 and maybe 52 for movie purposes.

Wow, I wonder how you'd feel about me if you bought movie figures, too. Seems you're getting off relatively easy. I should have them make more translucent Movie 'mates. ...Wait, don't you keep them MIP? Surprised translucency is a selling point.

Pics? The base is meant for Magma's foot, so she can stand on a pillar of lava. It's recycled from Nova, yes. It was not a mistake.

I feel very much the same. There's so many fun, colorful villains in the MU, and it's a shame we haven't seen more of them as Minimates (or any toy line, really). We've gotten a few (Shocker, Spymaster, Stilt-Man... apparently, they only have the S volume of the Marvel Handbook at the DST offices :biggrin:), but not enough. And, knowing that Zach's also a big fan of these kinds of villains, I was surprised that we didn't see more in the poll. I went by the "most wanted" poll to start with, but then I padded it out with other major villains. It just seemed like there were so many unmade big guys, and it was hard to pick C-listers that had a sizable fan base. But I do regret not putting Orca, Ghost, Graviton, Master Pandemonium or Whirlwind on there INSTEAD of Abomination/Apocalypse. I should have balanced it more. My bad.

Let's ask the man. Yo Zach, is Dazzler going to come with any laser / light beam accessorie(s) or will she just come with her second hairpiece and jacket? Not that I saw, but I'll double-check. That's how it looked at Toy Fair, and since this is a tooled test shot, I can't imagine that will change. Embarrassed to say I didn't know we made him already, in Series 20. Yeah, sorry, Havok is in the wrong thread, technically. AND that Wolvie is a Brood Wolvie, I believe. I don't know if Regular Wolvie has many new parts, besides supposedly the claws shown.
