Exiles: Blink/Sabretooth Morph/Mimic Nocturne/Thunderbird Beak/Evil Hyperion I loved that comic until Claremont came about and destroyed everything that made it great.

Wow, I need about 75% of those. Whoever is getting them is one lucky person!

Thinning the collection BHM?

He used to order a case of each wave back when I originally started collecting. I was pretty much the only one who bought them. Once I stopped collecting them he put them into storage. Now he is digging them all out for me to buy again.

Nope, just a great local Comic Store owner He has been pulling old minimates sets out of storage for me the past two weeks. He has a lot more to bring in for me once he finds them.

I would love to see an Aliens final battle set. It could come with a power loader, Ripley, and a large Alien Queen (Aliens franchise minimates don't have to stick to 2 inches do they)? No need for a BAF of them. Release is like the BTTF sets with the Delorean, or the Knight Rider set. -
I think they look great and I I can't wait to get this set. Now I have to hunt down the other X-Force box set and two packs from TRU that I missed out on. Hopefully the next 90's box set we get is either X-Factor or an Executioners Song set.

I stopped collecting for about three years (2011ish to now) after having collected them since series one, and just started collecting them again three weeks ago. I guess I'm not as used to all the great changes and improvements that they have made over the past few years like the rest of you so that is why I'm not letting something like the length of his jacket bother me. If they tried giving us a tampo'd jacket on Wolverine like the original DOFP Wolvie I would be complaining. I stopped collecting around the time the Dark Avengers sets came out, so I was just starting to get spoiled by how awesome minimates were becoming, so I can see other peoples points. I see other jackets that would have looked better on him, so I do question the choice they went with, but like I said before, its not a huge deal in my eyes.

Four years ago DST was making the 90s X-Men and Hulkbuster Iron Man, just to name a few. There were plenty of new parts there and most of us would pick some of those as the best minimates ever made That aside, I don't see why the fact that minimates used to be worse means we should be happy with mediocrity now

I honestly don't understand all the complaints about the jacket. Four years ago no one would have bitched about it like this. Look back at all the old female minimates who used the exact same hairpiece. Everyone from Rogue to Silver Sable to Black Cat (plus numerous others) all used the same hair piece. Some people made comments about the reuse of that hairpiece over and over but there was no where near the level of bitching that there is now, especially over something as trivial as Wolverines jacket being a tad long. This set is a definite buy for me. It looks great and I'm glad we have the chance to add it to our collections. I can't wait to see what we get next.

I know how you feel onyx_6. In the past week I have hit the TRU on the west side of Madison and all they had were Street Fighter vs. Tekken mates. The TRU in Brookfield had the same. The one in Janesville had Street Fighter vs. Tekken, Tomb Raider, The Wolverine, all the ASM2 sets, a couple Walking Dead series 5, and one Hunchback set. I bought both of the exclusive Tomb Raider sets plus one ASM2 sets. Then I decided that I couldn't pass up minimate sets that were on clearance for a tad over a dollar so I bought nine packs of Street Fighter vs. Tekken and The Wolverine minimates to use as custom fodder. I just wish they had more Marvel minimates since that is mainly what I want to collect. -
Here is my haul for the day. I paid a whopping $35 for twelve packs.

I have been having horrible luck getting these for my son. So far I have gotten 1 Mr. Burns, 2 Marges, 3 Nelsons, 1 Homer, 2 Scratchys, 1 Krusty, 1 Maggie. I suck at feeling up the bags.

The best $50 I have spent in a long time!

I feel your pain. I want the Uncanny X-Force set so bad, but the prices on Ebay are insane. -
Just wondering if this has to do with the delay in the DOFP mates coming out. Its coming from Rob though, so take it with a grain of salt. http://nerdreactor.com/2014/06/01/spider-man-could-possibly-appear-in-avengers-3/

I used to collect everything, but now I'm going to stick with Marvel and DC, and whatever else catches my eye like Aliens, Walking Dead, Thundercats, and Godzilla. I used to have to have every minimate that came out. I never watched Battlestar Galactica, or 24, but I had them all plus numerous extras. -
Well I have officially relapsed. My plastic crack addiction has begun again. I went to two small local comic shops and picked all of those up for $50. I went to a larger comic shop too. They wanted $12 per two pack and $34 for the four packs they had. I just shook my head and left vowing never to return. I'm glad to be back collecting again. I'm just pissed at myself for selling off my old collection.
