I think it is awesome that two of them have sold out already; the extremely limited production could have contributed to that. I know I didn't wait to order because I'd have been bummed to miss out. Are you getting a lot of requests to extend the number? No offense meant to Donny, or anyone else, but it wouldn't make sense to extend it for a couple of people and possibly sit on the extra figures. What about a second run boxset commemorating the success of the initial run, pre-ordered for a limited time and numbered by the max sold?

word. I've only been collecting for about a half a year, and I can't imagine the void marvel minimates would leave on my shelf and my life.

I had to buy the Thinker! Though, I really like the Portrait of Kahnweiler. That is a very dynamic looking mate. But, I had to limit myself. Can't wait to see series 2 in the fall.

On TRU.com they have listed Fandrall and Lady Sif and Heimdal and Don Blake. They used to not say that, right?

Picked up Batman Arkham Asylum (PS3) yesterday night for 20 bucks at Target. I played for 8 hours. So much fun. need nap now.

I really want an updated mystique, and to flesh out some x-villains. I went freedom force. Though Young Avengers really wanted me to pick them.

another batch of Ladies. Starting off with Photon, who needed hair after my Misty Knight took her fro. Then a quick Colleen WIng to finish off the Daughters of the Dragon. Her images on the net vary, and one, that looked like it was from a Marvel Handbook, had her decked out in a dress. A quick Namorita. I'm pretty sure I've seen this one before. But I was dismantling Lady Loki, and it seemed a good use of parts. After last week's updated Luke Cage, I wanted Jessica Jones. The hair is from Lady Sif. This one has been done all but his face for awhile. I'm slow to make decals, if anyone wants to help me out Hulkling, I'll post more pics (and better ones) when I actually finish him. I spent all of tonight working on this custom. BEHOLD! The daughter of Satan (and sister to the Son of Satan), SATANNA!!! I was walking through Toys R Us earlier, and decided it was time she was made. I mixed up a silvery-red-purple paint. I painted Gamora's cape black and wanted it for Satanna, but when it was on, it just didn't look right. I tried incorporating Lady Loki's hair/horns, but I liked this look better. hope you enjoy.

It was insanely annoying. I did try to unscrew it and pull it apart to give my average sized fingers a better reach at the application, but one of the screws just tuned in place and didn't tighten or retract. At least the flux capacitor is pretty much straight. lol

anyone else have a really hard time getting some of the stickers on their time machine? I tried to unscrew the screws and pull it apart to make it easier, but couldn't. Stickers 7&8 are lost somewhere.

This thread just got weird. lol, or did it get better! lmao. better. much better. though if we got a shirtless Thor, we'd need a shirtless Chris Evans, and perhaps, a jell-o snack pack.

There were two full pegs next to HMU. One of TRU wave 9 and under it was the Thor wave. They were in the collector's aisle. there were none near the spidey stuff, or the Thor stuff.

Woohoo! Just picked up sif and volstagg! {strike]Pics when I get home[/strike] I'm home! I didn't pick up the civilian thor/asgardian pack. here's a pic. Volstagg's head on both of them didn't quite go all the way into the hair. I had to use an x-acto and trim the head nib, it had a growth that only let it go about half-way into his head hole.

The poster pack-in, with Cyclops blasting the sky and various marvel mates around him, is there a digital copy somewhere? I know I've seen the bus shelter size ones from con pics, and the folded ones that come packed in, and this one on e-bay. But I'd really like it as a desktop background. I'd hang up one of the pack-ins, but I hate a poster with fold lines. thanks. MsMfan

Thanks AJV! Thanks Robo. The legs were from a Skrull. I painted the silver bit black and used black feet from the fodder bin. She has some guy from 24's shoulder strap holster, a bionic hand from cyborg and the flesh hand is mirror mirror uhura. I tried really hard to find legs that I liked better than one of my Skrulls', but nothing else looked as good. I'm not happy with her current belt, so I'm going to look into a replacement. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch were usually hidden on my shelf by other mates because they looked so "old school." It's a great update, glad I know who to thank for it

While working on some more time consuming projects I did some quickies: I was super excited today at the LCS to find a champions set for 10 bucks so I could make MISTY KNIGHT! (though my Photon is not sp pleased as she is now sporting Black Panther's hair) Photon's fro, Mirror Mirror Uhura head, Champion Blackwidow chest/arms, Skrull legs with painted boots. I made a Colleen Wing last night with pieces from the fodder box. Daughters of the Dragon: On the custom of 2010 voting thread I saw someone's Marvel Knight Ghost Rider and really liked it. So I borrowed the recipe and added to it. I used the chain weapon from the GB amazon set. Luke Cage wanted updated so he would look cooler standing by Misty. I decided this TIGRA would work on the shelf until she either gets made or I decide to repaint this one. Starfire's head with painted eyes with a Natasha Romanov hair and Cheetah body. Psyguy's updated Quicksilver inspired me, and I put the other chick's head from Mirror Mirror on Scarlet Witch to give her an updated feel. M.Bison's Cape was calling out for me to add it to the Sentry. hope to have some really cool customs to show you guys on the weekend (if I can keep motivated and make some decals)
