Dang it, you guys are lucky. There's no way for me to reserve any in advance; and my LCS manager expects these to all be gone fifteen minutes after they arrive. To top it off, the delivery truck gets there anywhere from 1 to 4 in the afternoon, and I can't rely on them to call me when they get there! So, I plan to call every ten minutes, and hope I get lucky.

And besides, Bryce Dallas Howard is not the ugliest woman ever. That title goes to Michael Jackson. I for one think these will be great. Really great. While I think 4 box sets would've actually been a little cooler, looking at that Sandman sillouhette AND envisioning going to the theater to see SM3 with a SM3 minimate in my pocket...this'll be cool. And, the previous Gwen looked a tiny chunky and had a Barbie face. My guess for MJ and Gwen would be that they can't do any worse than they already have.

Let's not forget Harley Quinn. That looks like a mask to me--what about you guys? I assumed she'd have a generic red head underneath. If indeed that is a mask. If it isn't, it's a new head sculpt, which to me is as bad as giving a minimate a nose.

I found this discussion totally by accident, but thought that it was interesting enough to warrant a topic here. It's on a Lego Minifigure customs place, and the guy talking about Minimate customs was actually violating rules by sharing the Minimate Gospel. Well, at least, it depends on how you look at it... That is quite a bit of Spider-Mans (yeah, Spider-Mans. Not Spider-Men )...but who would want a freaking "Limited" Mary Jane, anyway? They tried her. And failed. Dang, she was so ugly...AND that's a lot of Venoms. Wow. We need more Green Goblins!

Yeah, I'm like that too, but about everything. So, I'm not sure if I can relate...or not. I'm pretty obsessive, just, overall, but especially with my Minimates. Finally, when my sister asked for the LAST TIME if she could touch mine, I bought her a Phoenix/New Wolverine 2-Pack. But she never plays with them. Sigh. But otherwise, I'm pretty much with Energy-Man's situation.

Wow, Spearox--I am REALLY glad I'm not only one. And Victor, I don't need to steal money from my mom (I have plenty) but I may wind up buying them without showing her. Maybe. When do these come out, by the way? And, IS Huly wearing a chestpiece, or is it just my eyes?

Those are some amazing mates. Really, those are possibly the coolest toys I've ever seen. The packaging is perfect, too. Are we sure Lex is 2.5"? He looks 2" to me, and if he were 2.5", he'd have an awfully big head in comparison...

This question may have already been asked and answered, but: what's the MSRP on these things? I'm hoping I'm overestimating with...$9.99 per?

I would love Mirror Universe versions of any and all characters. However, as others have stated, we should get the regular bridge crew first. I'm extremely pleased we're getting Captain Pike right at the beginning--perhaps they're aiming at a chronological release of characters? We need a two-pack of a classic Klingon and a Redshirt. Maybe even Henry Mudd? (Hey...Captain Pike...availiabe Minimate wheelchair...add a dose of customized delta radiation...oooOOOOoooo... )

Yuck. Really, I know I probably seem prissily effeminate, and I'm very much alone on this, but these are just plain nasty. Minimates are supposed to be cute (IMO). Does NO ONE think the entire concept of Marvel Zombies is disturbing and nasty? DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND ME. I AM NOT TRYING TO "EVANGELIZE" YOU PEOPLE AWAY FROM MZ. AND I DON'T THINK ANY LESSER OF THOSE OF YOU WHO DO READ IT. I just think it's a little HORRORfying, myself. And, my completist inside is yelling in protest because my mom will never let me get these. I'm sheltered. Does it show? And I wonder how the lucky blaggard is feeling that won that MINI_MYTE Ash custom!

I will buy them all. Because they're minimates. It's what I do. But I'm not particularly excited about any of these, mainly from the personal point that I will not be experiencing any of these line's liscences. I don't watch 24. And I'm not allowed to, I don't think. I don't think I'll be able to see Ghost Rider (much to my chagrin, but "PG-13: Horror Action Violence" isn't my type of movie anyway). And I'm not allowed to see the new Battlestar Galactica (I think, but I've never asked). This was not meant as a tirade on how restrictive my parents are, I'm just saying these liscences seem to be a tiny bit narrow-scope. But that's just me.

I haven't given up anything. I've just been looking for (and getting) a lot more cash.

Oh, perfect! How do you make shorter characters?? I have this one guy who is "small in size and stature", but I was just going to ignore it, due to the difficulty. But if there really is a way than I'm all ears! Thanks Dragon. Great customs, by the way.
