Yikes! Hopefully that toxicity doesn’t come over here. Although I am fine going on record saying the Target exclusives are painful. Not worth moaning over but I have come to grips with the fact I will not ever have them. I won’t loose sleep over it but a really hope the vipers are released later like the troopers so I can get them. Flint and Lady Jaye were always my two favorites and those were preordered day one. I really, really hope they make minimates of those two sooner rather than later. I had the original Flint and that was my favorite figure when I was little (I even ended up duct taping him together after the o ring broke. Jaye was the one I asked for every year but never got. With most minimates being solicited for preorders (except Walgreens) that might not even be an issue with these. I do hope they try to match the cartoon, original toys and comics instead of a modern take on them but that is just my preference.

This could end up being my favorite minimart line. I really, really hope the deal includes the possibility of vehicles. A minimart Joe line with H.A.V.O.C. & Hiss tanks would be unbelievably awesome.

So based on the “will be” part of the quote does that mean Joe minimates are definitely coming?

My favorite joes were always Flint and Lady Jaye so I really hope if the line happens they are in it sooner rather than later.

I would think if the first is a stand alone box set it will be Snake Eyes, Duke, Cobra Commander and either Destro, Storm Shadow or Roadblock.

Lol. I was just coming over here to say that after seeing the Transformers box announced my mind went to the endless possibilities of GI Joe in minimates. I would be 100% all in for a GI Joe line. If they do one hopefully there is a way to army build the Cobra troopers, vipers, crimson guard and B.A.T.S.

I still haven’t seen anything remotely new. I checked today and it was a complete waste of time. Just movie minimates from Captain Marvel, Thor and Black Panther.

Zero luck and I have been looking since the first sightings of Falcon & Winter Solider were posted. Most recent wave I have found in my searches was released back in 2019 I think.

I like vs box set ideas for the army builders. I know I would be down for a few.

Similar to my Walgreens hunting experience. I saw plenty of Thor & Cap Marvel movie mates. Even saw Black Panther movie mates & BC minimates but nothing close to being new. Really want to find the Falcon wave & the animated X-Men

Really curious about the new movie/tv mates. Oh and I have to say it was real nice seeing the posts about the new Walgreens wave on the boards and then visiting a Walgreens the next day and finding them. First time that has ever happened for me. I didn’t even have to go to a second store. I really, really hope the animated X-Men mates are as easy for me to get.

These look great! Can’t wait to get them. Kinda bummed that it won’t be until 2021. 2020 could use a few me little pick me ups like Marvel minimates waves. I too would really love a new Silver Sable minimate as a BAF or a regular release.

You are probably right. Since I do have a lot more experience with the X-Men through the different ages from the beginning to modern times I am more more familiar with the uniforms and I tend to display them in their time era or team specific groupings.

Thanks for the info. Honestly Guardians is one of the Marvel teams I know every little about. Outside of the movie versions or when they may cross over to the other titles. Plus most of that knowledge is from the 90s so I am way out of touch.

So I am liking this wave even more than I thought I would but now I feel like I need the rest of the Guardians to match with these. Can someone tell me which Rocket, Drax & Groot match up with this Star Lord and Gamora? Any help would be appreciated. Right now the movie ones are acting as place holders.

I was right around 11 when I came out. Which was right around the time my mom finally gave in and started letting me buy comics. Of course one of the ones I started buy was . . . X-Men.

I remember Colossus did for sure. I want to say Iceman did too but I don’t remember Psylocke being in it. I really hope they do make a 90s animated style one of her to fit in with the rest even if she wasn’t in the show.

Wow! I really like the wave 13 in the spoiler. Hopefully they go deep with that cartoon and I can actually find them in the wild.

Well I guess it’s time to start stopping at Walgreens again.
