  1. I'm curious to know what the "hard work" entailed?
  2. I really like the MAX jet. The others I'd need to see better pics of, and with some of their respective Minimates.
  3. I have previously ordered Figma figures from Hong Kong sellers on eBay with no problems, but the amount the figure costs and the shipping will obviously go up a lot as it's a much larger figure. Thanks for the link Sam, I did have a look on Sideshow Toys website and couldn't find it. Cheers for all the advice
  4. Do you think Sideshow will import the Assassin's Creed II figure? I'm just working out what my options are as a UKer, I've never ordered a Hot Toys figure before. Any advice?
  5. Really interesting to see that Chuck wasn't sure about the Thing in wave 37 either.
  6. Assassin's Creed II Ezio pics! Just amazing! Ezio's face looks a little bit too full in certain shots there but the costume detailing and weapons look superb. I'm definitely interested in getting this guy as I am currently absolutely obsessed with Assassin's Creed II
  7. I know what you guys mean, if I didn't have a couple of really cool US guys helping me out I wouldn't be collecting Minimates anymore. Oftentimes the TRU stuff is better than the main line stuff these days, which makes it even harder to want it!
  8. Nice reviews and pics that complement them, very cool work!
  9. So kinda like a Mighty Mugg? That would be interesting, but hasn't the market fallen away for those types of figure? Regardless, could be a brave move for DST, backed by TRU. Great news on the Minimates section though, should help people find what they need easier than searching lots of different aisles/shelves.
  10. The staff are looking into this. Our advice for now is not to download anything at this stage.
  11. I have really been enjoying Rad's reviews and they are making me look at the Ultimates wave in a different light (he's reviewing them because I didn't pick them up at the time). Thanks for all the kind words as always, there may be one or two issues now and again but we do try hard to keep the reviews going consistently!
  12. Look, Rad's getting old and his eyes aren't what they used to be
  13. I think everyone in the entire world apart from Sepp Blatter thinks that goal-line technology is a good thing! That ball was a yard over the line!
  14. Thanks for letting me know TFF, due to my unorganised naming structure for pictures sometimes this happens. It did before with a Cylon Commander but I don't think anyone noticed hehe.
  15. Fantastic stuff. My worry with most 2-part cliffhangers (from Star Trek and DR Who and lots of things really) is that the second part is always a disappointment to the first part because they can usually throw more into the first one to actually set up the cliffhanger But this, this was brilliant. Very moving, yet with some fantastically funny one-liners: it ran me ragged throughout the episode yet managed to address all the plot points that had been brought up previously.
  16. I have to admit, I was very excited to see that. The outfit would be gorgeous! Possibly they would be able to do Altair too? It's certainly tempting me but I don't think it would be wise to get one to play with!
  17. I loved the game but somehow these figures don't quite match up to how great the game designs were. I don't know what it is. The game ones seemed more "alive".
  18. Phew, a parts database would take some work Shamrock!
  19. The top half of the outfit is OK, the bottom half looks a bit weak. They need to jazz it up a bit. And get him a helmet!
  20. I'm happy if I can see the Bandai figs on shop shelves. Buying a toyline exclusively through online means gets me down. However I'm not sure how good their sculpts will be if it's Bandai. I kinda had visions of a Four Horsemen redesigned line *drool* I haven't watched the old series in years but did get the comics a few years ago, which I did enjoy. Battle of the Planets, Thundercats and Transformers were all out in comic form. Good times
  21. I'm having trouble with my subscription to Block Babes though. There just isn't enough exclusive content for the price of the membership
  22. http://www.toplessrobot.com/2010/06/thunde..._a_new_cart.php YES! I was always amazed that Thundercats - which was up there for kids cartoons in the 80s - had not been redone for today's kids. I'm really excited for this, especially as it'll give my brother the chance to find out what the RUINED FOREVER meme is all about. He loved Thundercats. Hopefully this'll mean toys, but sadly it looks like Mattel have the license so no-one will actually be able to buy them except for outrageous prices on eBay.
  23. Liking the look but definitely agree it's missing something without the wings.
  24. What's the hold-up now? I thought New Line had settled with the Tolkien estate and everything was AOK again.
