Hey, Hello and Howdy!

If you do try using them for animation, make sure to show us your work! -
Wow, nice work!!

Maybe I can make two different versions.

It looks like I will also need a few lines of female dialogue. I might be able to talk my wife into doing it. But if anyone here wants to try out for it, or knows someone who would like to do it, drop me a PM.

Here is the thread for my other game, called Darkest Island: http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.php?showtopic=1475

Thanks for the support guys! The game engine can't do particle effects, so I can't make any weapon where you can see something physically flying through the air like a web blast or Cap's shield. I have had a few offers for Punisher's voice acting. I will be responding shortly with a section of the script for you to read. But keep the offers coming, I am sure somewhere out there is a perfect Punisher!

I am working on a fan-made Minimate PC game called Punisher: Minimate Justice. This game will be completely free once it is finished, which I expect to be in about 3-4 months. Why a Punisher game? Because shooting is fun . Also, the programming software I am using is called FPS Creator, which limits weapon and attack capabilities to basically guns and more guns, which limits my choices of Marvel heroes. But there will be appearances made in the game by at least two other heroes, and several villians. The story is that Punisher has been tracking some weapons being smuggled into New York harbor from Russia. But he soon discovers that these weapons are extremely powerful, and clearly not from this world. You will control him through several levels to find the source of these destructive weapons. I expect the game to be around 2 hours long. So far, I had my friend make an animated 3D minimate model, which I have imported into the FPSC engine. It will not match a real minimate exactly, because the model has to fit a certain base skeleton. However, it is very close. I have textured a few minimates, and placed them in some environments I created. Here are my test screen shots: Some random thugs: Bullseye: Ultron: I am happy to announce that Fujis has landed the part of the Punisher! You wouldn't know it by looking at him, but he can belt out one heck of a mean, gravelly voice! ___________________________________________________________________________ DEMO This demo includes the first level of the game. It has a few minor bugs (press 'F' to open doors, not Enter), but overall I think it will be a good indication of the final game. This demo will not work in Windows Vista. Before downloading the game, you will need the latest DirectX drivers from Microsoft, which are available here: DirectX Drivers OR Alternate Site (works better for some people) The game download is 61 MB. There is blood in the demo, but no profanity. The final game which will be released next month will have three versions: a normal version, a version for low-end computers, and an edited version with no blood or profanity. Here is the link to the demo: Punisher: Minimate Justice Demo The minimum system requirements for this demo are a 1.4 ghz processor with 512 MB RAM and a video card with 128 MB of video RAM. It will run better on higher specs of course. ___________________________________________________________________________ If there is enough interest in this game, I have a few ideas for other minimate FPS games as well. Let me know what you think! -Luke

I saw it last night. It was very cheesy, but very entertaining.

How many Customs do you have?
luke314pi replied to Jatta Pake's topic in Custom Creations & Artwork!
I have made over 150 customs, but I only have about 40 of my own in my collection. I also have 6 customs from TENIME_art: Blink, Morph, Gambit, Rogue, Blackbolt, and Medusa. -
New York Comic Con minimate panel
luke314pi replied to minijeff's topic in Crisis of Infinite Minimates
I would love a podcast of this! -
Crap. That's ten more figures on my list of customs I need to make someday. At first I thought this line had so much potential... but I don't think it was in the right stores for the right people.

When do we get to see a pic of him in your collection?

I love the new additions!

Nice work!

Someday I plan on making a minimate-style version of him. -
I love the updated Emma cape!

How will Series 16 effect your buying intentions?
luke314pi replied to Cyc's topic in Marvel Minimates
I might buy the X3 and Ghost Rider waves for custom fodder, but that's about it. Movie waves don't interest me very much. -
Thursdays Announcement: She-Hulk & Wonder Man

I am getting misty-eyed because this wave is so beautiful... -
Tuesdays Announcement = Bearded Thor/Loki!
luke314pi replied to AdyCarter's topic in Marvel Minimates
Loki is a beautiful minimate. I am glad I will be getting two of him since I will be getting both Thors - Dr. Doom needs one of those goblets as well! -
Thor looks great! This wave is exactly what I have been waiting for!

Trek Minimates Announced!
luke314pi replied to AdyCarter's topic in TV, Movie, & Video Game Minimates
I just love seeing new minimate pictures... I still haven't decided if I am getting these or not... but they do look nice. -
That site has so many pop-ups that my pop-up blocker couldn't even catch them all. Anyways, I am somewhat excited for these two movies, but I really wish they would make another X-Men instead. Perhaps one that doesn't focus so much on Wolverine...
-
I like minimates because of their simplistic design. Having characters all made from the same cylinder / cube / spherical shapes is very aesthetically satisfying.

Yeah, this Doom statue that I paid $350 for has been selling on ebay recently for upwards of $900!
