so if you were given the chance to assemble a themed four pack, who would you pick and why? I would really want to see an alpha flight box set personally, as i've been reading alot of old comics lately. I had forgotten how much I loved this team. alpha flight: -guardian -north star -aurora -snowbird of course there would have to be a second box set to fit sasquatch, puck, shaman and vindicator in there =)

Authoritative huh? I wouldn't go that far, but it does look like they are very, slightly different. If I hadn't been told to look for a difference, I wouldn't have noticed it (and obviously didn't). TRU pack is on the left (missing hand), box set is on the right. that difference is noticeable, albeit it slightly... the TRU one is missing his hand!!!

Here's what we know: ... Out of all of that, I'd say the only ones anyone really has to worry about are the Fan Boy keychains, since the AFX exclusives will be up on AFX, along with likely everything else. TRU will have the Dark Avengers set on their site, and the DST exclusives tend to make their way to all the online retailers too. thanks man =) I appreciate it

I don't really understand the hate of the Hulk movie minimates. What's really surprising is the hate of the movie - I've never heard anyone express disdain for it. At least not the Edward Norton one. I thought it was a really good movie, definitely leaps and bounds above the Eric Bana one. I actually liked it about as much as I did Iron Man. I actually liked it more than iron man. I just don't dig origin story comic movies, and i'm not a huge fan of modern day iron man (80's IM was cool.) plus, I just thought hulk was an all-around better movie k, so.... best= gamma hulk worst= grey hulk. also, any of them with the "powerhouse" chest pieces. except zombie hulk

I also loved the daredevil movie, sans the playground scene. haha

I don't currently have my mates displayed atm, but here are some other gems my FFVII collection is small, but it's fierce ash from army of darkness, torch from puppet master 2, and some other goodies sorry the pic looks like crap have the lambs stopped screaming? and the prize of my collection, my 18 inch patrick bateman

Mattycollector and Hasbro will have many of their exclusives available online. . .which is not to say that you will be able to actually order them when the appear, and there is a mad rush of sweaty geeks trying to horde as many MOTU figures as they can. I did the Hasbrotoyshop thing last year, and it was a nightmare with server almost crashing and my order barely going through. once again, thank you for the valuable information sir i'd settle for just being able to get my hands on the 'mates at this point. everything else can take a back seat, unless it's morrigan, magik or deadpool related. or unless neca brings back their cult classics line at the con.

I ended up not being able to go =( so I am REALLY glad they are putting up their exclusives on the site now if only the other companies follow suite.

dude. blanka would be a great custom to make hulk 2099 when I thought of the SF/DS 'mates, I thought of their whole universe, not just the games. I enjoy the mythos, the characters, and everything else... but to be honest, aside from the SNES games (which I still proudly own), I could care less about the street fighter games but that being said, demitri and morrigan are pretty important in the DS anime, as well as all of the SF guys being big (if not MAIN) characters in various animes. (there was one series though, that I watched, where akuma was not a character. he merely appeared as an out-of-place cameo in the background of countless scenes, towering above normal people, still wearing his SF attire. )

wow, I hadn't noticed that... good call but I gotta disagree about stryfe. maybe it's just because I grew up with him, but without him we wouldn't have the legacy virus! I don't know, I really enjoyed the different legacy story arcs, so maybe it's more of a respectful "thank you", than me actually liking him. lol and I know alot of people are tired of wolverine, but I can't wait for this one! I know i'm biased, as the x-force series that's currently running is my overall favorite comic, and at least it's sort of a new take on him, his boots have treading (lol) and his claws appear to be a bit better. but to each their own.

how hilarious would that be, your co-workers just staring on in horror as this plastic version of you walks into your work. keep in mind how completely terrifying this would look, as naturally you would have the same amount of articulation as a standard 'mate. oh okay, I thought I remembered more people seeing them. thanks for clearing that up =)

He actually meant judgment. you beat me to that one =/ by over 24 hours. haha. well played sir. the concept art looks pretty good all around in wave 30. wave 29 is actually a bit of a bummer, wolverine looks a bit dopey in the prototype, and black panther and moonknight's capes look a little bulky. meh, hopefully they'll fix it =)
