  1. Here is Captain Picard in the uniform style he was seen wearing in "Star Trek First Contact" & "Star Trek Insurrection". I simply took Picard's head and hands from his minimate and swapped them for Captain Sisko's. With him in this picture is Counsellor Deanna Troi from Star Trek The Next Generation. I attempted to print my own TNG decals and practiced with paper. I liked what I had but it did not work for anyone else I tried to make. I sharpied the arms and the torso other than where the chest decal went. I used hair from my extra Mirror Moreau and I forget the head I used. I think she looks okay, but that is JMO. Then I had Luke314pi make me a face decal for Commander Riker and I used a Picard body to make the character. Next I made Dr. Beverly Crusher. I used a chest and face decal again made by Luke314pi. I used a GB blue lab coad and arms because she was seen alot in that lab coat. I took some extra trek bodies I had and make Tasha Yar and Data. They each have chest decals make for me by Luke314pi. Data's face is also a decal from Luke. I am not sure whose's hair Data has but Yar's is from a BSG Starbuck I got in a lot of parts. I think the head for Yar is also Starbuck's but can't recall. I am okay with these as I already have them on display in my office and they look nice in the case. I now have a TNG O'Brien because he was on both TNG and DS9 and he was my favorite character so I wanted him in both versions. Again all the chest decals for Yar, Crusher, Data and O'Brien were from Luke314pi as were the face decals for Crusher, Riker, Data and O'Brien. I think I have shared all the customs I have for now. I am going to be working to finish LaForge this week and then will update later when him in the crew shot. I will continue as I can working on customs for Star Trek. I am trying to see about making Enterprise Crew member but at a loss for Tucker, Archer and T'Pol as well I would like to make a Jadzia Dax, I think I can pull her off. I hope you like all I have done so far.
  2. I did a Captain Janeway and she looked lonely so I am working on a couple of crew members for her. I used Commander Sisko bodies. I made Tom Paris with a Unmasked Spiderman head and hair but removed the chin mark. I am working on Chakotay all that I need to do is the tattoo over his left eye. My favorite character from TNG was Chief O'Brien then he went to DS9. I felt that Captain Sisko needed a pal so I had Luke314pi make me a face and chest decal and here is DS9 Chief O'Brien (with his sleeves at normal length.) I am saving posting my TNG figures after LaForge is done and I hope that is very soon.
  3. I attempted to make a simple custom as I wanted Lt. Ilia from ST:TMP before she was abducted by V'GER to be used as the Probe. Here she is pictured with Commander Decker, her lover from a previous mission. I used a Decker Body to make her and simply drew her breasts on with a .01 tip pen. Here is Commander Uhura in a Movie Uniform with her skirt. I believe she wore a skirt in STIII &/or STIV. (She is pictured with Scotty and Kirk.) I used the chest piece from an extra Movie Kirk and colored the appropriate parts grey for her division. I took the skirt from President Roslin and used a black sharpie on the white stripes. I used the TOS Head and legs from the Wave 2 Uhura. I need to paint here earrings gold because they would look better but I am holding off for now. I realized her hair was not grey enough so I grayed it some after I took this picture and I will try to get an updated image when I can.
  4. Thank you, I appreciate the interest. TNG is my favorite of the Star Trek Universe but I work with what I have. I will be posting my TNG customs soon. I am hoping to get LaForge up to par for posting. Keep watching as I post more I have done.
  5. Here are Sulu and Kirk from the pilot episode, "Where No Man Has Gone Before" Simple head swaps, used an extra Pike body and then put Kirk's head on it, then used a "The Cage" Spock body and swapped Sulu's head & hands to make this figure. My Mirror Mirror Customs Chekov, Scotty and McCoy all have chest decals made for me by Luke314pi. Chapel is just my way of using a few extra parts with my extra Moreau body, since she was not seen in that episode in the mirror universe. (I lost the original image of just the four customs without the produced mates.) Now here they are pictured with the Mirror Mirror box set mates. The Mugato was an ape-like carnivore that inhabited the subtropical savanna regions of the planet Neural in the episode "A Private Little War". (And I tried to make a Tyree from that Episode as well. as of a later date than when this was originally posted.) A Gorilla Grodd painted white with sculpty used for the horn and the spikey spine ridge and tail. (I am not the best with sculpty so I am sorry it does not look as good as I hoped.) I still have a few more, coming soon.
  6. Thank you for that idea. I was wondering how to get a beanie on him. I have not seen the vigilante Spidey in my area yet but I will be on the look out. Don't get to our TRU very often as it is sort of out of my way. But I will be on the look out. I have more to add and will do so soon.
  7. My Romulan Prototypes (As of 7/30/12: The only Romulan from the picture above that still exists is the one on the left. I decided the one on the right did not look Romulan enough so I parted him out. But the one on the left has been redone and appears later in another posting.) From "Bread & Circuses" I have made a very easy customs of Gladiator Spock and Gladiator McCoy. I even made episode specific gladiator shields for them and even in their colors form that episode. Next I made a minimate of Shahna from "The Gamesters of Triskelion" with some creative licensing in here attire. I used She-Hulk's hair and The White Witch's body and head with the white parts painted silver. I used a trident from my extra accessories for her to have a weapon but I am not good at sculpting a weapon from the episode. I thought I would do a quick custom for the two Cherons that are in the episode "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" I used templates for the faces I found at Luke314pi's decal site only I printed them on paper and then used a black sharpie to make half the face black. I wrapped the paper around the head and used the hair to old it on. Still have them that way. I realized that I did not like using the Pike bodies on the Cherons, so I reworked them and I am happy with them now except Lokai's belt on his pants. I forgot where the bodies came from but Bele's is silver painted and Lokai's is just a grey body I had but have to live with the belt on it for now. I am sure I will find a body that works down the road. City on the Edge of Forever Custom minimates of Kirk and Spock Did not make Spock in the beanie because I was going for the look where he is in his room at the boarding house and is not wearing it. More to come in my next update.
  8. Hello, This is a new greating as of 14 January 2021. I have a vast collection of mainly Star Trek Minimates. Most of my collection is made up of my customs. I do get ideas from my fellow Multiversers and other sites on the internet. I have at least one of every Star Trek Minimate ever released by DST. I do have at least one sealed package of each and then one opened package of each on display. I then have multiple extras I have used for making my customs. My favorite customs would be My Mirror Universe version of Chekov, McCoy and Scotty along with the Mirror TNG crew (minus Yar and Wesley). I also have Mirror Janeway, Mirror Sisko and two versions of Mirror Archer. I even have made a Mirror Orion female officer as seen on the episode "In a Mirror, Darkly". I also have a love of DC comics so I do try to make customs from that universe, My favorite would be All of Them. I also dabble in custom Lego minifigures. I have the Justice League, the Legion of Doom, The Crime Syndicate, The Death Metal Batmen, a representative of each of colors of the Lantern Corps. I do also have a Batman/Batwoman representative of each color in the Lantern Spectrum, including white and black. I even have custom lego Black Lanterns of the Justice League. I also have made a few Amalgam customs (DC/Marvel) out of Legos. But this will always be for me sharing my Minimates and I hope to be able to keep making customs for as long as I can. I do enjoy sharing my creations and hope you all enjoy viewing them. If you want to copy my work that is fine, but know that I have likely copied it from someone else. Prowl-Ar is a big inspiration to me and I respect him enough to attempt to share if I have copied him but if I don't, I know he knows I value his work. I do primarily try to make my customs without having to paint or cut. I do sometimes use decals, and when I do, I have gotten them mainly from Luke of Luke's Toy Store. Sometimes I do make paper labels and just use a glue stick to adhere them to my mate, that way if need to dismantle the mate it will come off very easy and not much sticky left behind. I appreciate all the Minimate Multiverse Brothers and Sister out there and hope life is being good to you in the chaos of the world we now live in. Thank you for providing this forum for us to bond over something that brings us join. Kameron (aka Captain Paco) Below is my original first post which has been modified a few times as I have made updates and such: Hello, I am trying my hand at making Star Trek Minimates that have not been made. I am not great at sculpting but I will give it a chance. Most of my customs are going to be quick changes or altered parts by using a little paint or the use of sharpies. I also will be attempting to branch out from Star Trek and make other minimates as well but to start off I am focused on Star Trek but keep watching as I will from time to time stick in Non-Trek mates. I had a listing on here but it was not titled well so I started a new one to showcase my customs better. (I wanted to add that I attempt to get the mates in the best focus I can but my camera is not the best and I appologize for the fuzzy/blurry images. I am working to see about getting a new camera.) Special Thanks to Luke314pi and TM2 Dinobot for either helping me by producing decals for me or by helping me get parts I needed to make the characters I have envisioned I want for my collection. My first custom was Captain Janeway from Star Trek Voyager. I used Commander Sisko for the arms, legs, chest and hip. I used BSG Cally for the hair & hands and a female head but not sure whose it was. After I got a few more minimate parts, I retired the first version and reworked Janeway by altering her head and hair. (the hair I think is from a BSG female [Athena I think] but I forget whose head it is.) (Since DST officially released a Janeway minimate, this one has been retired from my personal custom collection and I have since reused the parts in other custom creations.) Then I tinkered with Andorians after the release of the Atlantian Soldier minimates. I wanted them to look like Mercenaries and piece them together with BSG minimates parts and a few others. Their antennae are clipped blue plastic paper clips. After Star Trek Enterprise action figures came out with Shran the Andorian, I used Thor Movie mates to update the customs in my collection. I felt like this made them look more fitting the Star Trek universe overall. I have several more customs and I will add them as soon as I can get the rest of the photos in my computer. Thank you for letting me share with all of you.
  9. I would like to see the Munsters as everyone mentioned as a boxed set for Herman, Lily, Eddie and Marilyn with Grampa and his Drac-u-La racer. They could make Spot and Eddie as a special set but we never really have seen Spot but would be cool if he was in Minimate form. I would love to see an Addams Family set to go with the Munsters.
  10. I would have liked to see Scotty included with the Enterprise; however, I am going to get one just for displaying purposes only and I will pop the command chair out and have Kirk in it. I would like to see them do Enterprise-D with Captain Picard in is captain's jacket in minimate form to help with the 25th anniversary of TNG. Then they could do the Defiant with Commander Worf for DS9 and then Voyager with Janeway. Also then Enterprise NX01 could be made with Archer. They would sell them and they would have figures not already flooding the market. Then they could do boxed sets of other characters from each show. The boxed sets could be themed other than just by show. Could have Engineer Set to have LaForge, O'Brien, Torres and Tucker; the First Officer Set to have Riker, Kira, Chakotay, and T'Pol; the Medical Officer set to have Dr. Crusher, Dr. Bashir, The EMH and Phlox. and so forth. They would sell because we would all be out looking to complete the crews for each series. Also, we know they made a prototype of the TOS Shuttle, they could then release that with Battle-ravaged Spock, then they could make a shuttle from TNG with Data or LaForge, then a Runabout from DS9 with Jadzia Dax and then the Delta Flyer with Tuvok or Torres. There are lots of possibilities they could do that would not have to be Kirk and Spock that would helpt them sell if they would listen to our requests. I only had one thing that included a Spock but they had teased us with him before and took him away so we deserve that one. JMO, Thanks.
  11. still looking to customize Star Trek Minimates.................

  12. still looking to customize Star Trek Minimates.................

  13. I would really love to get me a Minimate TOS Enterprise. I would likely get two since I get two of everything Trek. As for minimates, I have one set still in the packaging, then I have two sets of the crew extra and openned. I have a few extras of some crewmembers that I have been tinkering with for customs. I have made "Break & Circuses" McCoy and Spock in gladiator attire (simple head swaps), Movie Uniform Uhura (with skirt) from ST3 if my memory serves me correctly, "Trials & Tribble-ations" Sisko, a Mirror Universe version of Nurse Chapel, and I am working on Mirror Universe versions of McCoy, Scotty and Chekov. I have even made an Ilia from STMP before she was turned into the VGER Probe. I would love to have the Minimate TOS Shuttlecraft with the Battle-ravaged Spock, but I would like to see other crew-members and more aliens especially Next Generation Crew. I had ordered decals from Luke314pi and made a custom Dr. Crusher and Cmdr. Riker; I had tinkered around before ordering the decals to make a custom Deanna Troi. I have even made a Cptn. Janeway and Tom Paris. I am working on a Geordi LaForg and Chakotay. I hope to one day even get my Data and Chief O'Brien made. I would love to see more Trek Mates but it is time to go to the TNG, DS9 and Voyager direction. (Worf and Klingons with ridged foreheads, Ferengi, Borg Queen and Seven of Nine, Neelix, Morn, Jem'Hadar, Odo, Vorta, and I could keep going but there are at least 4 waves (of 4 twin packs) of just crewmembers that can be done. And then there are all the aliens that can be done as well. Some are easier than others but there is a large assortment to help make the waves worthy of purchase by all. DS9 Wave could have Jadzia & Bashir, O'Brien & Rom, Kira & Odo, Jake Sisko & Quark. Voyager Wave could have Kim & Torres, Tuvok & Kes, Neelix & Paris, Chakotay & Janeway. TNG wave could have Troi & Data, Dr. Crusher & LaForge, Riker & Yar, Guinan & Q. The fourth wave could be mixed and could have: Seven of Nine & Chief O'Brien, Worf & Gowron, Vidiian & EMH/ECH (could have extra chest peice for the change in his programming), Borg Queen & Locutus. Then we could see variant figures of say Chakotay in his marqis attire, O'Brien as seen in TNG, Seven of Nine as a borg, Kazon. Just some thoughts but wishing is keeping me going.
  14. I would like to see Minimates for Star Trek Characters! One set would be Riker, Troi, LaForge and Worf from The Next Generation (TNG). Another set would be Data, Yar, Guinan & O'Brien also from TNG. From Deep Space Nine (DS9): Jadzia Dax, Bashir, O'Brien and Quark would be one set. Another DS9 Set: Morn, Kira, Rom & Keiko O'Brien. From Voyager (VGER): Set one: Janeway, Chakotay, Torres & Tuvok Set Two: 7 of 9, Paris, Kim & EMH exclusive two pack: Neelix & Kes Also Enterprise Crew would be nice as well and more aliens (Klingons, More Borg Drones, Salt Vampire and so on.
  15. Not about Marvel Minimates but still a dream set I would like to get in minimate form so I went ahead and decided to reply to this post. Captains Through the Ages for Star Trek: Captain Archer (Enterprise) Captain April (the first Captain of the USS Enterprise after it was NCC 1701) Captain Pike (to look more like Jeffery Hunter) Captain Kirk (from Star Trek the Motion Picture before he changed to the all grey uniform) and then a Bonus would be a two pack with Captain Janeway and Captain Riker - after he was promoted to the command of the Titan. or Trek Through the Ages: Commander Tucker from Enterprise Mirror, Mirror McCoy from TOS Lt. Worf from TNG Lt. Cmdr. Jadzia Dax from DS9 Seven of Nine from Voyager and a bonus two pack could be Neelix & Kes from Voyager or O'Brien & Keiko from DS9
  16. I have not see KITT or KARR in my local TRU yet. I have been looking all the time and I have never even seen them on the pegs yet. They have been released haven't they?? I want a KITT (non-SPM) but will get both as I know teh non-SPM is not out yet.
  17. I am still working, but I wanted to share my custom Movie Uniform Uhura (still need to paint earings but I am happy with her so far). I also have my attempt at making a decal however it is just paper that I glued to the chest and sharpie'd the arms to make my custom Troi. I used a Mirror Marlena's hair and a face from the small stock of heads I have, not sure where it really came from. Troi is pictured with my Insurrection Picard custom (who is mainly a head&hand swap with a Captain Sisko figure). I will be showing more once I get the decals from Luke and get my TNG Crew done, or at least those I can do for now. I am looking to see why my focus will not remain once I snap the images on my camera or I will see if I can use my wife's camera. I wanted to add to this topic by saying I started a new topic called "CaptainPaco's Customs" I will no longer be following this topic and will have all my customs posted in my new topic as well any I come up with in the future. Thank you for reviewing this topic and I hope you will follow my custom work with my new topic. Live Long and Prosper.
  18. I ordered some custom Star Trek TNG decals for my customizing ideas. Soon, once they arrive I will be working to get my figures made. Riker will be the easiest in my opinion. I am going to try Dr. Crusher and Data for now. I do have a DS9 O'Brien decal coming as well. I also plan on doing a part swapping to make VGER Chakotay and Paris to go with my custom Janeway. I will be working on a LaForge as well. Once I get all them done, I will look to work on a Mugatu and Worf. I have not received the decals as of this posting but I ordered them from Luke314pi and I know they will make my other customs like second-class mates. I can't wait for them to arrive, as I am rushing home from work every day to get the mail. I will attempt to snap all new photos of my slew of customs once I am done with my TNG crew.
  19. I was reading several posts today and decided I would start one to voice my interest in getting classic television series characters made in minimate form. I would like to see "The Dukes of Hazard". The mates could be arranged in a few boxed sets: 1) Bo and Luke with the General Lee, 2) Boss Hog and Cleetus with Boss' convertable, 3) Daisy Duke and Uncle Jesse with Daisy's Jeep, 4) Roscoe & Enus with a police car. Next I would like to see "Stargate SG1". Col O'Neill, MAJ Carter, Dr. Jackson and Teal'c could be one box set, then GEN Hammond, Dr. Fraiser, Bra'tac & Walter could be a second box set. Then they could make Teal'c in Jaffa attire, Gen O'Neill, COL Carter & COL Mitchell as a third box set. Then to round it out a fourth box set could be Gen Landry, Vala, Ra and Anubis. There could be a fifth box set of four different Jaffa Warriors all with the different headdresses that were shown on the show. Next would be "CHiPs": Ponch & John in a box set with Minimate motorcycles, then you could do a box set of four of the major supporting characters: SGT Getraer, Officer Barry Baricza, Officer Bonnie Clark & Harlan Arliss (he was the Mechanic). A Boxed set of the Classic TV series "Land of the Lost" would be nice. Would be Rick Marshall, his son, Will, and his daughter, Holly, & Cha-ka. That would be enough for me. "Otherworld" is a long forgotten television show but I would like to see minimates in a boxed set of five figures and then a single two-pack. The boxed set would be the Sterling Family, Hal, June, Trace(son), Gina (daughter), & Smith (youngest son). The two-pack would be Kommander Kroll & Lt. Zero. I just think they would be great to have in any form be it minimate or standard action figure size. "M*A*S*H" would be a series I would love to see Minimates make. Several two packs could come from this. 1)BJ & Hawkeye, 2)Hot Lips & Frank Burns, 3)COL Potter & Klinger, 4)COL Blake & Radar, 5)Trapper John & Winchester, 6) Father Mulcahy & Nurse Kelly Yamato. Could do a chaser figure of Klinger in a dress and could include a way to have parts of jeep included in each package that could be assembled for a Jeep to represent the Jeep that Radar shipped home in peices. "Doctor Who" is a series that could be successful in minimate form and would provide a lot of options for figures. I would like all the doctors and their companions in mate form as well as the major bad guys. I think all of these television series are worthy of minimates. I know some of you don't agree but this is where you can drop your ultimate Minimate TV series Wish-List. I would also like to see "The A-Team", "The Munsters", "The Addams Family" and believe it or not but I would like to see "The Flintstones". However I am always for more Star Trek minimates. I would really like to see the shuttlecraft from TOS still get made because we got a teaser for it. However, I would like to see TNG and DS9 Mates made because I am really wanted to complete the crews of each. VGER mates would be cool as well because Neelix would be an interestign mate. (as Quark would be for DS9)
  20. Luke: LOVE THE STARGATE MATES!!!!! I wish I had a set. The Weird Al mates are equally awesome. Love your work and wish I had the time, talent and funds to do them. However, you are a hard guy to beat so I will just admire your AWESOME work! Thank you for sharing.
  21. would have to use the Sulu torso and arms as opposed to just swapping the arms. the color of Kirk's uniform doesn't match the yellow used for Sulu and Chekov. I am going to make the correction but at the time I did not have an extra yellow uniform other than a Captain's but I am going to change once I get my second Sulu delivered. Thank you for the direction and advice.
  22. I would love to know what program you are using to draw up the images of mates you have? I would love to see a concept image of Quark from Star Trek Deep Space Nine in minimate form as well as a Klingon with a ridged forehead. Thank you for the great artwork.
  23. Awesome Santa!!! I was starting work on a custom Santa but I now will mimic your Santa when finishing mine. I sort of like the idea of Holiday Themed Minimates. I would purchase them. Santa, Easter Bunny, Leprechaun, Cupid, Uncle Sam would all be awesome in Minimate form. As for the turkey: Could be a Pilgrim and Native American two pack. We do get Halloween minimates from the Universal Monsters, which I only get the ones from Toys R Us and then use most of the extras as parts but I change my display at work for Halloween to be Ghostbusters and Monsters and I get compliments all the season. Thank you for the Cool-looking Santa mate.
  24. I will look into that because I need to be able to sculpt without damaging my work. Thank you.
  25. I am truly in awe of your Andorian. I made two myself but I used a blue paperclip cut to be the antennea and used Atlantian Solders for the heads and hands. I like all of your Trek creations. I wish I was that patient. I am throwing this out there as well since I know you had to sculpt your antennea on the Andorian and it was likely easy, but I am trying to make a Mugatu and I can't get the putty off the mate without damaging my design. How do you sculpt and remove to bake without damaging the sculpting you did on the mate?
