I bought a few Marvel Kubricks . . . i was a bit annoyed when i bought 4 Magneto's in a row. The idea of not seeing what i was getting first & ending up with 4 of the same $15 figure kinda miffed me. So . . . anyone wanna trade for a Magneto Kubrick?

Erm cant see it happening... making Decals for arm bands would be your friend in that case I guess. T. I thought that might be the answer. Looks i'm gonna have to get savvy with customizing. I've always wanted to - now i have the perfect excuse

WOW - Some epic looking 'Mates there. I don't read any of the comics these guys appear in, but i think i'll be getting myself an Iron Man, Red Skull & Bucky Cap. They are all VERY awesome looking. Am i allowed to mention my *slight* disappointment at the lack of a Nazi insignia on Red Skulls Arm? I know it's probably a bit risky for AA & DST to release a toy (seen by some as a 'childrens' product) with Nazi characteristics . . but it really is part of the character's history. Perhaps we'll see a convention exclusive with swastika arm-band?

Yeah - Epic disappointment here! I have been Hanging out for Comic versions of Psylocke, Gambit, & Sabretooth from the begining (not to mention the Deadpool). How far back do we think 26 (or the new 27) is going to be pushed back? Or will they keep the same schedule & just sssqueeze (MoTU shout-out) the new 26 in?

I collect a couple of lines at the moment. I was collecting the Masters of the Universe mini statues which were retailing for $45 each in Australia. A lot of money - but they are gloriously detailed & the paint aps are almost flawless. I'm also pretty keen on Marvel Legends & Marvel Minimates. The Legends vary greatly in price - In comic books shops & large retail stores like Target/K-Mart i've paid anywhere between $14 & $35 dollars for a marvel legend. Rather depressingly - it's been the Hasbro Legends (of which i am less fond) that have set me back the most. The price seemed to jump once Hasbro took over. As for Minimates (which are only avaiable in Comic Specialty stores), I've paid up to $20 for a two pack, and about the same for a 4-pack. At my local CBS, most of the DC MiniMates are $15.95 a pair & Series 16, 19 & 20 of Marvel MiniMates sold for $17 a pair. Even with the difference between US & AUS dollars, there's still quite a price hike sometimes - And i'm sure it's not all shipping costs. I have a Hasbro Exclusive Marvel Legend Sunfire on order & it's costing me $40. . . OUCH! Unfortunately, i'm too much of a sucker to say 'No'. Seriously - i think a crack addiction would cost me less!

WOW - All of your customs are brilliant, but those Hellfire Club Inner Circle figures are pretty close to PERFECT! The Hellfire goons are excellent too. Really impressive work. I just don't even know what to say to adequately compliment your work . . . AA - if you're reading, give this guy a job NOW!

WOW - you have like a dozen Mates in your parts bin that i can't find singles of here, let alone have doubles for parts. That's quite an impressive collection! Let me know if you ever decide to sell them on.

Would love to see all of those. Don't think we'll get a Sugarman though - his physicallity seems to fall outside of something MiniMates could handle without serious retooling. And where are the female villains? Show me some Spiral (serious retooling also needed), Deathbird, Black Queen (Selene or Jean) or Goblyn Queen! Edit: Dang - we ended up getting BOTH Black Queens. Colour me impressed. I'd REALLY like to see a Malice possessed Polaris or a Vertigo now that Jean & Selene have been crossed off the list.

Here's Hoping there will be an Age of Apocalypse Box set. There are probably too many characters to have just one box set - so maybe a villans box & a heroes box? Villains: Apocalypse, Holocaust, Sinister, Cyclops, Dark Beast. Heroes: Magneto, Weapon X, Rogue, Morph, Blink, Sabretooth & Wildchild, oh - and X-Man . . . and Jean . . . and Ninja Turtle Colossus. . . hmmm maybe we wont get a box-set of important AOA characters after all : ( A Shiar box would be awesome too (even if it's TOTALLY unlikely to happen) Lilandra, Deathbird, D'Ken & Gladiator. Oooh - And while we're at it, a StarJammers boxset. i would REALLY love heaps of X-men and X-villain sets: Mutant Liberation Front, Marauders, Excaliber, X-Force, X-Factor, Generation x, the Nasty Boys . . .

Really? Seriously? Dang . . . i thought the M was for M People! I've been buying House of M: Civil War because I was looking forward to a final issue featuring Heather Small singing her greatest hits! O_o

As a general rule, I'd like to see more villains & women being made (especially x-villains & x-women . . . and by x-women, i don't mean men who used to be women). However, I think with all the recent X-Men action (Apocalypse, Archangel, Havok, Polaris and the upcoming Psylocke, Deadpool, Gambit, Saberteeth) that we'll probably be seeing some other MU families getting MiniMated (no - not s3x with midgets). I think I remember hearing rumour of more Ultimate 'Mates coming up - perhaps one of the waves will be an 'Ultimates' wave? Do we have any UltiMates (see . . . see what I did there?!?) that we'd like to see? I'd quite like a Hawkeye & Wasp. There will, no doubt, be an Ultimate IronMan in there. An Ultimate Magneto with Mjolnir would probably be appropriate too considering current events. I once read someone note that before the internet, it was always a pleasant surprise to rock up to your toy store or CBS & find new toys had been released. Now that we know what's coming before it has even been produced . . . we have to wait . . . and wait. . . and WAIT. I don't have the self restraint to stay away from sites like this, so i guess I have no-one to blame but myself. As if waiting for series 25 & 26 wasn't bad enough - now i'm anticipating series 27 & 28. O_o Thanx a lot ramseesthegreat1. ha ha.

Are Minimates still easily available in Australia? Not really, 2 hours from where i live is the closest i can get them so more often I buy them from BBTS or AFX. They are only available at comic shops over here. I wish TRU wou;d get thim casue i have one just down the street. I'm sorry that's the case but at least your comic shops have them. I love your country & can always relate to your 'distances'....never kilometres,never miles...always hours its only because theres very few of us who can actually count. heheheh My heart goes out to you buddy. I'm in Oz too, Canberra to be specific. We only have 2 Comic Specialty Stores here now & neither of them have carried Marvel MiniMates since The Spiderman 3 'Mates. Almost all of my MiniMates have come from eBay. I've still managed to find almost every X-Men 'Mate i've wanted with the exception of the movie figures. I was really keen on a Tarantula, but i'm a bit dissapointed that he doesn't come with little barbs on his toes. I'm not sure if i wanna go to the trouble of hunting him down & paying for a variant minimate on eBay if he's not just right. (Sorry if the no-barb issue has already been addressed - just having my rant)

Wowsa! Some cool figres there. The updated Goblin looks excellent. I'm really looking forward to being able to get my hands on a Doom as well. Gotta agree with TBT! on Magneto's hair . . . not sure if i'm a fan. Also - on a Mag-Rant: I always pictured his power signature as electric blue, rather than fucsia. Not digging the unshaven look either, although i guess i already have a clean shaven face for him - so bring on the razorless Magnus (Perhaps he stopped shaving after multiple blades got stuck to his face). Wolverine's face has possible got just a bit too much, but that's really nit-picking on my part. I'm actually excited to be getting a Jim Lee blue & gold Wolverine. Well - I'm in Canberra, Australia. I was born in Melbourne & did most of my growing up in Sydney, but moved to Canberra for university a few years ago. Despite being relatively unknown globally, Canberra is actually the capital city of Australia. Canberra is an Aboriginal (Indigenous Australian) word that translates to 'Meeting Place'. Seriously, Who? I’m actually hankering for the Human Fly! With all the Spidey action recently & second rate villains like Kraven, Tarantula, Shocker, Venom etc . . . I think it's time we had a MiniMate that can seriously deal out some hurt to Spidey. After all. . . what chance would a Spider have against a Fly?!?!
