  1. Banshee was introduced to the comics as a villain, so maybe it was intentional that young viewers didn't know where his loyalties lied. The 'middle man' was selling the series for anywhere upward of $80. and most of the sets that i saw available had the FoxKids logo in the corner of the screen. I was holding out for the 'real' set. I knew my loyalty would be off eventually. ha ha.
  2. This one is tough . . . I'd like to see more females and more villains. Cap Marvel looks great, but it'd also be awesome to finally see a 616 Storm get a mainstream release. I'm also a bit bummed about having never gotten myself a Julie Carpenter. At the moment it's between Molecule Man, Storm & Capt Marvel. I'm thinking i'll vote MM just to give him a better chance of getting into the set, because Storm & Cap M both look pretty strong on their own.
  3. Great work AGAIN mate. Is that a X3 Juggernaut Helmut? Ingenious! I love that you sculpted her fur leg-warmers on! And i love LOVE that you went to the trouble of making her a hair piece & a helmet.
  4. AWESOME custom. All he needs now is his Scorpion tail rip-cord accessory! Please tell me you're gonna do a whole series?!?!?
  5. Awww. . . Happy Birthday Boys. Party on!
  6. thanks mate... honestly i was going to put those x-men symbols on her shoulder... but i went a little simpler, since she already have 2 x symbols :-) Fair call mate. She's still a top-notch update. I'd be happy to own her.
  7. SUPERIOR work on Rogue's jacket. the only thing i could possible want for, is a little red & black X logo on the shoulder or chest. great work buddy.
  8. I thought the figure on the right with the powerhouse chest was actually a cape - so that one was throwing me off a bit. LOL EDIT: I guess if we get 2 Venoms, the Dark Avengers will just be a back in black style Spiderman - And hopefully this one will be a Feral/Scorpion-Tale Venom.
  9. Nah, a second DA set? Since when does DST release the same team twice?
  10. Maybe the line-up? There's a spikey looking guy - so ? Guy on the left with the gloves, hood & protrusion from the left shoulder - ?
  11. Grrrrr! That's SUCH a tease . . . I'm drawing a blank. Squirrel Girl? It doesn't *look* like the original Thunderbolts line-up, which is kind of what i was expecting when the announcement was first made.
  12. My AOA lust aside, and thinking more realistically: With all the Emma Frost & Sebastian Shaw action that's been happening in X-MEN & Wolverine titles, i'm hoping that we might get a Black King figure with a Hellfire club goon as the army builder.
  13. This is just the Standard Iceman, not the Variant (just in case anyone was getting their hopes up)
  14. What REALLY annoys me is when characters Jim Rhodes are made the Varient. Maybe i'm not 'up' on the history of War Machine, but for as long as i've been aware of him - the man inside the suit was Jim Rhodes. In my opinion, varients/chase figures should be for the die-hard minimate fans or the die-hard character fans. JimRhodes shouldn't be made as one of the hard-to-find-one-per-case figures because he IS War Machine. While Tony Stark has worn the armour, he's not the 'standard' for the character. Save the varients for quirky/obscure characters or variations of characters. I understand that AA/DST want to move more cases & in their eyes, making the chase figure a highly desirable one will help with sales, but it's a bit of a middle-finger to the non-cpmpletionist collectors. Frosted Iceman? yeah - the fan-boys will buy it, but casual collectors can live without it because they have a normal one. Visorless Cyclops? - not everyone needs one, but collectors can get it if they want it. Jim rhodes? Major Marvel character released as one-per-case variant! Kind of sucks for people who are collecting core characters.
  15. I would also add: Hellfire Club Goons yes YES HELL(fire) YES!!! I'm jonesing for an Age of Apocalypse series: Rogue & Holocaust Cyclops & Jean Grey Weapon X & Infinite Soldier Variant & Infinite Soldier - Not that i need one, but the Varient would no doubt be a Bald,Burned version of Weapon X. Holocaust with an army of infitintes would be SO freaking sweet!!!!
  16. I know an online store in Oz that still source a few of these: Iceman & Firestar; Bishop & Cable; Mystique & Rogue; ($12.99 Australian - which is about US$8.50) They also have the Limited Professor X & Magneto 2 pack for about US$18. There are a few early series too, as well as 1 oe 2 C3 sets. http://www.bibyco.com.au/secure/catalog/de...id=678947075c2e I'm not sure if they ship to the states, but i am happy to order from here & post them over if there are any members who are having trouble finding any of these.
  17. One of the boys over at MarvelousNews alerted me to Amazon.com this morning. It seems that a time of celebration is apon all us X-Philes. No, we aren't celebrating Alien Abduction. I said X-Philes. Fans of the X! The 90's animated X-Men series looks like it is FINALLY getting a release. When it originally aired, i was probably a *little* too old for the demographic they were aiming for, but it didn't stop me getting up at 6:50am to catch it on the local morning Cartoon show before school each day. Now - it looks like i can at long last sleep in of a morning and watch X-Men at my lieasure. Any time i like! ALL the time, if i like! WOOT! Seasons 1 & 2 will be released April 28th. Here's hoping the rest of the series gets released shortly after! http://www.amazon.com/X-Men-Marvel-Comic-B...pd_bxgy_d_img_b
  18. Professor X has actually had 3 released, so he *might* not be that hard to find. It depends on which version you want. I think the Blue Suited one that was released as a 2-pack with Phoenix? (Correct me if i'm wrong) will be the hardest to find. Next hardest will be the Original release which came with the Cerebro unit. The 4-Pack version, which was the Tan suit & no helmut is fairly common. I'll keep an eye out & see if any show up here. I'm still trying to get Iron fist & the War Machine variant myself
  19. Your customs are always good - but Forge is almost PERFECT. Well done! I would buy him in a heart-beat.
  20. This guy was one of the reasons i started considering Kubricks. Even though the Storm, colossus, Jean Grey figures semmed to fail, the Havoc one always looked great - and it is from the era that i first started reading X-Men comics. Damn, i'd love some 90's X-Fator 'Mates. I'd even settle for a Kubrick Random figure.
  21. Honestly, I'm still adjusting to all of the new wave packaging having Spider-Man plastered on the top. But this whole "mates with loads of extras" thing, I can definitely use more of I was kind of hoping for a Character from each wave to take SpiderMans place - Like DC did with it's waves. Damn - these DO look good. Particularly the AIM agents, Cap & Red Skull. I was trying to only collect X-Men characters for so long - i think i'm gonna have to buy this whole wave
  22. I guess the Lantern Corps is pretty obvious . . . Put the green guys together. . . except for Ambush bug. And Lex Luthor. And Brainiac13. Ok so not ALL the green guys. Not Green Arrow - although i think he DID infact wear a lantern ring for a while . . . GL Coprs: Guy Gardener Killawog Hal Jordan Jon Stewart (Exclusive) Salaak I have a feeling the Spectre had something to do with the Lanterns for a while too - or was inhabiting a Lantern at one stage? But he's not really part of the GL Corps.
  23. Awesome work man! I *just* got the 'Masked SpiderMan MiniMate yesterday - so i have him hanging from my work computer & your picture on my screen. Keep up the great work.
  24. Yo yo! or at least a MUCH lighter shade of grey. . . Hey Nessex, As I happen to be a fellow Aussie, if ya keen we can split the Postage when the time comes? always willing to help a brother out. keep me posted 'Mate*. *see it's funny, cause Aussies say 'Mate' a lot, and because we are talking ab . . . never mind
  25. Today was a special day for me, and so i ran into a bit of money. With my extra cash in my hand, i skipped into town after work to visit my local Target & buy myself one of the remaining Deadpool figures. Alas, when i got there - there were none to be found. Maverick, which had few numbers, and which i had bought the week before still had 2 left. I cursed myself for under-estimating the popularity of the bi-polar merc with a mouth. I hung my head and walked towards the store exit . . . as i departed the toy department through the plush toy isle, i stopped in my tracks. 'Yes - i remember now'. I plunged my hand into the second highest shelf, past the plush 'my little ponies' and teddy bears . . . right to the back. . . and there it was! The Deadpool i had hidden there the week before and *almost* forgotten about, was still there. after several minutes of grinning like an idiot, i headed for the check-out to pay for my little present to myself.
