Chitauri is the name for the skrulls in the Ultimates comics. I believe that's where the movie versions originated from The Ultimates come together to fight them, the Avengers(comics) come together to fight Loki controlled Hulk. They kinda mashed the two together for the movie. Also new creature army from infinity war sorta resemble chitauri from comics, not sure if that was intentional.

Maybe they should give incentives to the people who run the website. Then maybe they could be more consistent with the minimates. I know there are a lot of other toys, but come on they have items EXCLUSIVE to the chain. Shouldn't those at least be in stock ?

Well my TRU no longer has a section for minimates. Some PotC on an endcap, discounted GB and some Marvel up front. Everything else that was there is gone(some Aliens, Predator, P vs Z). All gone. An employee couldn't tell me if they were sent back or shipped to another store. The Thor Ragnarok and wave 24 never hit. And now I'm super worried about wave 25 and Black Panther.

I could type this verbatim. The last two animated waves were the easiest to get(I needed help on three previous waves). The TRU waves are hit and miss.

My wish list would be Mad Max movies Blade Runner (both) Escape from New York/ L.A. Indiana Jones I quit Star wars for minimates(also they became impossible to find), so I'd be fine without mates. Besides the SW universe is so vast with just the movies, I'd be worried they wouldn't complete the line(a la Trek).

Found a set of wave 6 and Thor ragnorok today. But the 2 TRUs ear me haven't got any new mates yet. An employee told me they should still stock them until after holidays. Then who knows. I'm assuming this is why Walgreens is taking on more mates.

Animated line. The movie line isn't showing on website yet. A lot of my worries are what store managers are telling me. When they use the words possibly discontinuing, I get anxious. Marvel comic/movie mates are my primary collecting. I'm a completist(major addict), so I get nervous/ impatient when I find them fairly immediately.

I know. My closest store is 30 miles away. But there are 3 within 20 miles of each other. I used the approximate stock to determine if they restocked before driving all over God's creation wasting gas.

So I'm getting mixed signals. These are showing up at stores, but the website is showing not available. I called customer service and talked to a few helpful managers, and they told me it means reducing prices and no restocking. Basically discontinuing these. If Black Panther is being done the same as Thor, I'm getting a little worried.
