Anyone know what happened to that awesome looking Marine figure? I could have sworn he was in wave 5, but McFarlane's website now shows Sgt. Johnson in its place.

#1 honestly surprised me. They're a great villain, but after the recent movie success and almost an eternity of the character being praised, I was surprised that #2 didn't hold the #1 spot. Out of all possible villains, some of the lower ranking ones didn't really strike me as that great. Seems like they were just looking for filler.

Considering this seems to be a Spider-man themed set, I'm actually quite impressed. Scorpion, Shocker and Vault Guard are amazing! Can't wait to get them.

That would be silly, considering she was well known for her psychic ability before she went all diamond.

Mimic would be cool (especially if we could get an Exiles version of the character as a variant-- Proteus or normal). I'd also love to have the Hellfire Club in mate form. Mystique's long overdue for a revamp, too. If we could get the leather outfit, that would be awesome!

After seeing it twice, I hope to badger some friends into seeing it again with me. It was so good! I had low expectations, but this film really blew me away.

If they manage to fix up that mess, this could be promising. We'll see.

Good point. As long as the powers are retconned, it deffinately has potential. They could also expand on his background, which Wolverine really failed to do and explain how he got into Weapon X and all that jazz.

I'm mostly excited for that X-Force Wolverine. I love that design! Storm looks absolutely amazing, too. It's about time!

Since the Deadpool movie is officially official (lol comic book movies), let's hope for some Incredible Hulk retcon power his way to fix up the mess that Wolverine left him.

For a character with such a detailed and interesting background, it's great that they took the time to gloss over it all for the sake of pointless character inclusion and explosions. Thanks, Fox! If they manage to pull off the Deadpool spin off, hopefully it retcons this crap.

My Cap's mask was squished, oddly enough. It still fit, but when I take it off the bottom sort of moves inwards. Super odd, but as long as it doesn't affect the head, I have no complaints. After all, I've had no problems putting it on or taking it off.

I'm guessing Penance aswell. Maybe Swordsman?

I can't wait! This has been something that my collection has long awaited.

I rather enjoyed the Black Freighter/Under the Hood DvD. The animation was beautiful and it was much more enjoyable for me, seeing it as a whole, rather than scattered bits and pieces. Under the Hood felt kind of slow at parts, but it was amusing to watch and had some really fun details about the Minute Men.

I really do hope they find a way to release that Boomer figure.

I'm more interested in Iron Patriot than the others, but meh. Doesn't seem like that much of an exciting set. As many have said before, Ms. Marvel would have been a more interesting choice.

Agreed. I went in rather expecting some major censoring, but I was very much satisfied with the bravery of the film's content in relation to what it was in the comic. I can understand how it would bother people who may have not read the comic, but seriously. Why does it all have to be kittens and rainbows? I know full well many people who hadn't read the comic were expecting something a lot more conventional of comic book super heroes. WELL, SURPRISE! Joke's on you.

The cover is nice, but it really doesn't give out that Watchmen vibe that other tracks in the trailers and soundtrack have. I agree that the original is better. Then again, it's just a bad song in general for the movie.

I agree, I have no interest in 'the Ultimates' but I'm gonna get him to go with my movie Iron-Man mates Same! I'm glad they're releasing one. As much as I understood why he probably wasn't included in the movie wave, it's great to see them make one anyways.

I wasn't really much of a Cyclops fan until I read Whedon's Astonishing X-Men. I don't mean to pee in your cornflakes but whats so great about this Deadpool? He comes with some cool accessories but other than that hes just a guy with a red shirt. I just don't see the appeal. That pretty much goes for the whole wave. The Wolvie Through the Ages set looks much more interesting. I'm a sucker for neat accessories, plus it's nice to see some exposure for a great character, even if it is abit simplistic. Perhaphs it's just my optimism? I can understand why some may not be impressed with it. I agree, though, that the "Through the Ages" set seems more interesting.

I'm surprised Gambit wasn't in this wave, but I'm just assuming that it's because they wanted to go for more a Weapon X feel. Then again, that doesn't explain Blob. Either way, I can live without a Gambit.
