The Avenger

There will almost definitelly be a few X-Men in wave 25. They had a few in waves 19 & 20, but not a single one since. -Gambit/Deadpool -Storm/Black Panther -Wolverine/Sabertooth

Law and Order SVU. Other Law and Orders. Heroes (Since they dont seem so inevitable anymore). Weeds. My Name Is Earl. Smallville. The Office. Scrubs maybe. I guess DBZ could make for some good mates, I'd probably pick them up.

Sigh, I'll be happy to finally get a black suit spidey and a shocker, I know some people will like the Kraven, Cosmic Spidey and Tarantula but I could care less. And I think everyone agrees the rest of the wave is crap. And I am equally pissed about Rhodey being a variant in wave 23. Hopefully I'll be able to find the thing. With this, the Hulk movie wave, and the lack of Union Jack with the Invaders, it feels like DST is trying to take back all the good will they earned with waves 19-23, and all the great boxsets. When on earth are we going to get a regular Black Panther?

Well I just saw Platoon, basically because of the minimates, and it sure was a good movie (still would prefer full metal jacket mates but oh well). I have to wonder how Johnny Depp made it into the set though, his character had such a small part it took me awhile to realize who he even was. I have to wonder what it is DST has against minorities, when a Forest Whitaker, Keith David, or a Junior mate would have made way more sense. Why not a Vermucci, or hell even a Dr. Cox. There are so many characters more deserving of a slot in this set than the damn interpretor. As far as the quality goes, I like them for the most part, I'm a little dissapointed with the Willam Defoe, but the Tom Berenger is just god awful, they should go back to the drawing board on that one.

There are alot of things that seem pretty cool coming out this summer; Star Wars Force Unleashed, Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit, Hellboy Science of Evil, so on and so forth. But the only game I'm buying for sure is Soul Calibur IV, those games are never a letdown.

112 Marvel + 6 Marvel Duplicates. I'd say my Marvel Minimates make up more than half of my minimate collection.

I'd buy all those. Might I add: Black Bolt Black Manta Black Goliath Black Tom even Black Vulcan

Well, I never would have guessed the last couple of boxsets. So obviously I'm not goofd at this, but I'm thinking Ultimates makes sense. Ultimate Captain America Ultimate Iron Man Ultimate Thor Ultimate Nick Fury All are icons in both 616 and ultimate universe, but havent had their ultimate versions made. All have movies coming out in the next couple of years. People are asking for them. I think its likely. Another cool idea would be Black Panther Fantastic Four Black Panther Storm Human Torch Thing Human Torch and Thing are the mainstream popular F4 members and could use a touch up. Storm is also very popular and hasn't been released in awhile. Black Panther is really wanted right now, especially since he already has a zombie version released. (Maybe the set could come with some tiny golden frog accessories from the latest issues of Black Panther).

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar, Why an invaders set but no Union Jack! Oh well, I'll still be all over this set. Android Human Torch!

Army builders aren't really my thing, but I think they make perfect sense for a line like this, and would be a smart move on their part. And even though I don't army build I would want at least one of each type anyway. Stuff I'd really like to see: -Skrulls -Krees -Guardsmen -Bob Agent of Hydra (from Deadpool) -Maybe a Mandroid armor.

They look ok, but they don't excite me at all. I'm not entirely sure if I'll buy these or not and I even wanted the Ghost Rider wave. With all the great stuff DST has given us lately, I guess we are overdue for a crapper wave anyway.

This is actually my favorite of the generic female hair pieces, other ones have been used almost as much; Dark Pheonix-Shadowcat-Firestar, or Ultimate Storm-Rouge-Astonsihing Emma Frost. If they are going to reuse one of the three I'm glad they reuse this hair. As far as new hairpiece sculpts go, they are nice to have, but rarely neccessary. They hairpieces we already have seem to work very well for most characters.

I'm only about half way through countdown, but I think its a well thought out series with some fun character interactions you don't always see. Will it eventually lead to anything, probably not, but it sure is fun to enjoy the ride. And I think its a little bit early to judge Final Crisis, when the first issue hasn't even hit.

I'd be happy never seeing another Wolverine variant again. We've gotten most of his Iconic looks. I've always found him overrated and overused. And I don't want to see Spider-Man's supporting characters like Mary Jane and Aunt May made either. What makes them any more important than Moira Mactaggert, or Senator Kelly, or Jarvis, or any of the various characters' supporting casts. And atleast in my mind, they are far less important than powered characters we havent had; Falcon, Doc Sampson, Hercules, Banshee, Gambit, Deadpool, Blob, Toad, Mandarin, etc, etc, etc. It's all just personal preferance though.

There wasnt a non AFX, DST exclusive minimate pack for NYCC, so I wouldn't think there would be for SDCC either, but it would be really cool if we were to expect even more exclsuives at SDCC, I'd have something else to buy to offset shipping costs. Lets see other iron man costumes possible. Most of the important ones are done though.

I would have preffered a set with some variety of character choice, but I like getting different IM armors, and they look cool. I'll have to track down a stealth armor variant before SDCC, so my armory can be complete.

I'm always happy to get new Marvel characters, especially Avengers, I had the FA Avengers action figure boxset as a kid, so I'd think I would be stoked for these, but I just can't get excited. I would have prefered more modern verisons of Wasp and Pym, but even if they went the classic route, I think Giantman would work best as a plain mate like his zombie version was. Unfortunately the transformation pieces on both Wasp and Giant Man make them look very akward. The Hulk looks to be the worst version yet. With strange head sculpting that just doest look good. Besides, we already got a new hulk in the Defenders set, and there will be 2 for the movie, I just feel like there were better choices for a boxset. Gold Iron Man looks amazing, if not a little too intracate. I'll buy this set for sure.

2.5", but I also don't think that every larger character should be that size. Hulk probably shouldn't even be 2.5", Thing definitelly not. I'm not a huge fan of the big feet, or big torso pieces, but ultimately, there are minimates I like that fit any of the above, so as long as minimates still get made I'm happy with whatever.

I've never seen doctor who, but I'll buy them just to get the red minimate converse shoes.

Wait there was a secret after the credits? What was it, i left when the cool credits turned into standard ones. Anyway this was a much better movie than the trailers had led me to expect. It's not quite one of the great superhero movies, but it is way way way better than The Fantastic 4's and Spider-Man 3.

I agree that the OMAC should have been paired with an army builer, but the pairing with Batman isn't any more of a stretch than with the new Blue Beetle since Batman created Brother Eye.
