Not really, although it is customizeable. Once the smoke clears I will work on features and new skins. Also, since June was mostly work for me, I will do some more giveaways to celebrate our ten years as a community.

The files are gigantic because everyone has large PM storage limits and we used to allow hosted images and there are gigabites of those. That and we are ten years old, so we have a ton of stored posts. Winter is coming. Or is it already here? Still working at this.

Unfortunately, it looks like some PMs will be lost. The files are corrupted and the best back up restores only about half of them. Still at it...

I appreciate the patience. When discussing the needed upgrade with the software company, no mention of these possible problems was ever made. I have done upgrades in the past and for the most part, they have been seamless. My main career is an IT engineer, but I don't often work with PHP and CSS, so I am often depending on others for some help. I did not anticipate problems when moving to an upgraded server, running upgraded PHP, a requirement of the software upgrade, required to continue running this site, but here we are. Just know I am doing my best and stressing for all of us, to get this sorted. I have had a lot of help from Ady. Just wanted to mention that.

I don't know how its even possible that some people are seeing posts fine and others are not, unless it is a user cache issue. The PM thing is serious and it is being worked on. The PM database seems fine but yet the site is not connecting with it and IPB (software) is not sure what is going on. We must upgrade the software or risk numerous challenges that have already taken their toll on the site. I had to upgrade the host server and several of the details that go along with the server. Its not a move I wanted to make, but got backed into a corner and here we are. I appreciate folks letting me know the problems they are having. I am doing the best I can, as fast as I can.

I am working on the PM issue still. Nothing should be lost, I just gotta get things pointed in the right direction.

We are getting double the amount I got from SDCC (Mallrats blank), so many will get one. Stay tuned.

There was another company that did some nice Micronaut prototypes several years ago, but nothing ever came of it. I really liked their Karza.

It has to be at SDCC 2007 when I screamed "OOOOAAAATTTT!" as he was taking photographs, startling him quite a bit. He turned and gave me the stink eye. Oh wait, that's my favorite moment. Or when he met Rob. Rob was probably with me. Geez.., you Yanks think all British guys all sound/look the same... That was me dummy! The best part of the Shane yelling "Zach Oat" experience was him suddenly getting super shy when Zach looked at hm with a who the heck are you expression... Which was followed up by my tactfully asking within his earshot "Who the hell is Zack Oat?" T. Good memory. I got all shy because I realized I had a fanboy moment and let it escape my protective demeanor. I know you were there, but I thought Rob and Josh were there, too.

The hobby for large scale items, 1/6 and up, seems to really be getting too pricey for the average collector anymore. Although I have way too many Minimates for any one person, I also have a large 1/6 and 1/4 scale collection of figures and static statues. I love them and I always pay attention to new stuff in the pipeline, but frankly I just can't afford, and honestly just don't enjoy, shelling out $300 to $600 on this stuff anymore. I bought the new SSC Hulk PF and that's the last item over $250 that I have on pre-order right now. I likely won't even entertain much more.

$32 for shipping? My shipping quote for the Hulk PF is $50 and considering the size and weight difference, I don't see the logic.
