with a few part swaps the PvZ make for pretty fun Walking Dead Zombies just switch the arms and head of football zombie, the legs, hands, and head of construction zombie, and legs, gloves (unless you want a zombie with bright yellow gloves) and head of scientist zombie and you’re done! Now you can turn those some of those boring ‘civilian’ walkers into wacky novelty zombies! (I didn’t switch scientist zombie with a WD zombie obviously... when I pulled his hair off I liked how his face looked with the coat and tie too much to do that so I just gave him spare human hair and Construction Zombie’s hands and left leg)

He has one normal hand (to hold the ‘meat’ leg) and one hand sculpted holding a piece of guts so you can have have him eating flesh.

Bringing it...Marvel has had several “promos” -Minimates packed in with that awful animated Avengers DVD -Luke Cage and Power Fist being sold only through ToyFare Magazine -The most recent Hulk and Iron man DVD tie-in mates. -Web-Armor Spider-man was available by spending X amount at AFX These weren’t handed out free like the Battle Beast, but neither were the Goblins. Two were sold for $5 at nearby restaurants (which really makes them more of “retailer exclusives” in terms of comparability since you had to actively buy them, you weren’t handed one because you walked by), one was given to you if spent $100 or more at Paizo’s booth (so like Web-Armor Spider-man), and one was one in a contest (So yeah, like Santa Spidey there’s PONE true Paizo freeby promo.) Also, Paizo doesn’t need f**king minimates to promote Pathfinder... Paizo COSPONSERED Gencon. If you’re at Gencon you KNOW already who Paizo is and what Pathfinder is. (Now maybe you’re not a fan, like someone at Comic-Con who LOVES DC and thinks Marvel just suuuuuucks. I’m sure there’s some D&D gamers like that. But Marvel Minimates didn’t need those Comic Con attendees to succeed and Pathfinder mates don’t need those jerks either.) This isn’t DST trying to launch a new franchise, this is an existing franchise offering a new product to it’s fanbase (you know like how Marvel already had fans) starting with some exclusives they could buy at the biggest convention their fans might gather at (I believe DST launched Walking Dead and ViewAskew mates this way as well, exclusive packs made quickly to sold at a large con... and both of those lines seem to be doing quiet well.) If you give someone buying a Spider-man Bottle Opener a free Vorin, you have to hope that a-hole is going to be interested in the block figure as a concept AND that Vorin captures his imagination enough he wants all of Vorins friends, you’ve got to win them over on TWO fields. If you give someone buying a Pathfinder RPG book a free Goblin (Goblins being heavily featured in their books) you just need to convince them they want block figures, which might not work, BUT it’s easier to convince someone who likes the Goblins they want block figures then to convince someone who just like Spider-man and opening beers they want to start collecting figures of something they’ve never heard of. I honestly don’t see what your problem with anything Paizo’s doing is... I think you’re making a non-issue into conspiracy because you don’t really get who Paizo is.

So BBTS got a lot of stuff in I really wanted early this week, so I decided to ship even if the Guardians mates weren’t out yet and would finally have all five inner Senshi! I got my shipping notice at 9am! I got another e-mail from BBTS at 2pm saying Sailor Saturn was now in stock and is the first item in my newest pile of loot. FML!!!! I can’t win, but at least I’ll be getting Jupiter soon...

It doesn’t fit, the hood has a peg and the skull doesn’t have a hole. But it’s worth noting the Skull is missing a tooth so if you are trying to make Skeletor it’s going to be the Mo-Lar variant.Pro-Tip: Get an extra Blue Ghost Rider, his skull looks FANTASTIC in Isiem’s hood (and Isiem looks fantastic with his white hair so he won’t miss it) and that hooded skull looks great on Ghoul’s body. Ghost Rider skull looks weird in place of the cultist head though, the color of the robes makes it look like a bath robe for some reason.

Personally I’d hope K’Nex expanded it’s Mario K’nex to a “world of Nintendo” type deal before we get Nintendo Minimates. The K’Nex have unique body types and sculpted heads which helps make the characters look cartoony, forced to be on the same base with no noses and cylinder heads would lose 80% of the character’s charm.

aren’t those the wrong Red and Nessa or did they decide to re-use the solo-packs for the four packs? Also, after Pathfinder did such and amazing job making 8 unique characters from nothing but reuse these look extra cheap and boring, not to mention the fact they have the audacity to ask $10 for the singles and then make a four-pack that sells for full price with slight variants (if that?) of those same two characters... the whole thing just seems very amateur hour.

I got mine today and these are fan-f**king-tastic. Everything works so well its hard to believe these are all reused parts. If hes still in stock when the goblins go up for sale Ill probably have to get another Isiem, he looks really fun with his hood up or down and I think I need both looks. Edit, added photo:

Can non-Pathfinder minimates be used or was my DM just a dick saying I couldn't play as the Mighty Thor because he wasn’t a gaming miniature? 2-The Battle Beast Spider’s legs could be repurposed into a very nice Dryder (or non-union equivalent), no? Just saying for when the next time quick reuse is a must...

So Wesley Snipes is Blade again and Patrick Warburton is returning to the Tick... anyone else find it odd so much casting news is breaking on the Saturday of a three day weekend? Nice to see pictures of Jupiter! Mine’s been sitting in my Pile of Loot waiting for the Tamashi Flame Effects to drop (and maybe the Guardians minimates, but we’ll see) since the beginning of the month and it’s been killing me, so seeing some pictures helps to tide me over.

Would it be overlap in a *bad* way?If Gamora comes with an army builder or Yondu at BOTH locations you might end up with two Gamoras but you’d also have a chance to get all 5 Guardians if you only shop at TRU or a LCS (remember TRU is supposed to be a bigger market exposing new customers to minimates) She could have even had a minor change like Electro (a different face or been in her red outfit?) to make it an easier double to take for people who shop at BOTH stores, but she makes more sense to double up then an army builder that didn’t do anything. (of course, perfect world, Nova corp would have been the double since there’s at least two of them with names who do things)

even though that thread is full of garbage, they do make one good point: Why are did we get another Sakaar Trooper instead of Gamora? I assume it’s because Army Builder (although there are more Novas then Sakaars in the movie so it should have been the doubled up builder, but I’m already off topic) but if Gamora was the mate paired with Yondu it would have been all 5 Guardians at TRU.

Trivial Trivia:Drax’s modern comic design is pretty clearly inspired by Kratos from God of War. David Jaffe, the creator of God of War, has said in the past his choice for live-action Kratos would be Djimon Hounsou So there’s a scene in GotG in which Marvel’s Space-Kratos fights The-Man-Who-Would-Be-Kratos, and that’s pretty cool if you ask me.
