What that be Blue or Gray Spiderman?

I can see next year's Christmas special, where you have to spend 25 bucks to get a "Weapon X Wolverine" Minimate or something (can't have enough Spideys and Wolverines, can we?), and this year's Spidey exclusive will be on clearance in that deal, selling for 2.00.

Did you fellas also see the pics from the wave 3 4 pack? Maybe its old news, but I just saw it there for the first time. That Chloe rocks, and now, I think Sherry Palmer is the most despicable Minimate yet (not the figure, the character)! Man, was she a horrible bitch in that show. . .

I was debating doing this deal, and the main part of it was going to be the Spiderman 5-pack. Now, I'll probably just order the Defenders set and forget about Iron Spidey. Related to this, if you order the set off of eBay, AFX lets you choose domestic priority mail shipping, which is 2 bucks cheaper than UPS shipping (the cheapest option on their website). . .strange. . .

I just took the weathering and silver paint off the nose-cone of mine (its blue underneath, like the original toy!). He looks even more awesome now.

I guess I better go ahead and pre-order mine, then. I typically hate the whole pre-order nonsense, as I would rather buy them when I know they are in stock, but. . .those Defenders look bad-ass. Must have ASAP. --edit: on second thought. . .10 bucks for shipping! I think that I will wait a bit--

I don't have many pics of myself, so most that I do have are pretty old, but that beer-swilling pic made me think of my visit to Ireland a couple years ago, and a pic that I had my Myspace page for a while. Did you check how much it rang up for? At my local FYE, they were priced 19.99, but rang up as 12.99 (I bought a couple of extras and have them in my want/have listings, btw, if anyone is interested in trading for them). . .

I had read that one guy received a Skywarp missing a finger, but apart from that, I haven't heard much else. . . Regarding Krypto (and that is his name, thanks to my nephew), you should see some of the wacky situations he gets into, being the most hyper Jack Russell around (which is saying something). I have so many shots of him doing strange things. . .

It sucks that Wal-Mart is only shipping these to specific stores, as I think it artificially inflates the eBay prices, as people think there are fewer of them than there actually are. Nonetheless, I anticipate that these prices will fall further as people realize that they aren't as scarce as they seem, probably within a couple of weeks (they still haven't circulated throughout the country yet, from what I gather). BTW, I got mine yesterday, and man, is he a thing of beauty. He now replaces my Classic Starscream as my favorite Transformer. . .of course, now I'm going to have to shell out 100+ bucks for MP Skywarp

In case some of you aren't privy to the newest Joe-related news, pre-orders are now being taken from the Big Bad Toy Store for waves 1 and 2 of the 2-packs (with proofs of purchase from 6 of these, you can get an exclusive Doc mail-in figure). Most of wave 1 are brightly comic-colored repaints of existing characters (Duke, Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow) with the exception of Hawk (V1), who comes with repaint Scarlett. They don't stay on my Minimates very well. I just hope that they will be compatible with Archangel's wing slots so that I don't have to go to too much trouble making a custom Angel from the variant. . .
