you all look fantastic! I was Starlord for halloween and went to Comikaze to show it off (Stan Lee's pop culture convention at the LA convention center) I cant find too many good pics but here are a few favorites

so did anyone dress up this year? I didnt wanna start a whole new thread just to post pictures of my costume so I decided to necro this thread anyone else have a cool costume this year that they'd like to share?

very excited to see what DST pulls out for this, i will buy everything they release for this film also Klaw would make a lot of sense considering the rumors that Ultron will go to Wakanda to get a vibranium coating i dont think he'll have his super villain bearings yet, he might just be a friend of Tony's or an operator for Strucker at this point in time

if we were to see the foes it'd probably be dispersed, while the book is popular among comic fans the characters still are not very well-known my guess is we will see Boomerang and Shocker packaged with Spiderman variants, Speed Demon could probably find home in a TRU set, Beetle will probably be alternate parts included with an Abner Jenkins Beetle and Overdrive....probably wont happen but if he did it'd be in a con exclusive or a TRU set

Im pretty sure Doom falls under the F4 license which means we probably wont be seeing a new one past the current planned releases for a while this wave could still very much be an Axis wave, or at least a very Axis friendly wave. I personally did not love the first two issues of Axis, I think the idea is awesome and Remender's run on Uncanny has been awesome but this book just feels like it completely undermines all the other marvel writers characterizations and so far the tie ins make far more sense than the main title (which probably does not bode well) now this is a three act event and we are only (i think) halfway through act one so a lot can change and I do trust Remenders writing after X-force, Uncanny and Deadly Class so I am still willing to put faith in it being good but with the "Inversions" this seems like an event that in itself does not need to contain good writing as its merely a way of getting characters to place their respective writers can do something new with them. I am more excited to see what Hickman will do with Tony Stark in NA after this than the rest of this event itself

Gotham is too ass-backwards to connect with anything, including its own episodes The Flash/Arrow universe is already more promising than the DC cinematic universe Superman vs Batman will be successful, hopefully it is a good film to validate all these other announced films also you say 2015 was ridiculous for SVB well i say 2016 is ridiculous for Suicide Squad I am 99% sure Suicide Squad is DC's attempt to capture the lightning in a bottle that was Guardians I want to go on record that i want all of these films to be fantastic and will see all of them in theaters and support DC but I have very VERY little confidence that any of these other than SVB will be in theaters on the planned release dates and I could see half of them cancelled or changed drastically in a years time you'd think DC would have learned from Marvel's bad press surrounding Antman that you dont announce something you arent ready to deliver on

he was definitely in more than two pages of Infinity, he also has a mini series called "A God Up There Listening" he was mainly integral to the arc and I dont know if Hickman has any more plans for the character but I could see him coming back in a big way, especially with the Cabal now including Thanos in the "Time Runs Out" story

i think we're all forgetting that no official sources have confirmed this. Variety may be reliable most times but they too have posted misinformation from rumors remember when everyone thought Avengers 2 was for sure going to be World War Hulk?

Hey Zach not sure if you can say but do you think we could expect any mates to come from the netflix marvel content anywhere down the line? is that something thats been discussed at all?

i think often here long time collectors forget what "in need of an update means" I agree with the mentality that if a mate is now nigh-impossible to find that it deserves a re-release and if the mate has a chance to be improved in that release than by all means go for it Personally I think Mysterio and Quicksilver are great updates (Mysterio mainly for the pallet swaps). Quicksilver's hair is AWESOME (and the sole reason he required an update) is it a wolverine movie hair (which is what I ended up using in a custom) or a new mold? this wave is complete win for me 1. Quicksilver is a much needed update 2. Mysterio looks better than the original, much more dynamic 3. any Spidey variant from Slott's run is more than welcome for me (Big Time and both Superior's are my current favorite Spidey mates) 4. Vision both needs more love and I always love getting modern comic looks 5. Wolverine is very much wanted, love all of Anka's designs and I need this to go with my Marvel Now collection 6. Ironman same as Wolverine, much needed design, very cool looking mate, always up for more armors 7. RONAN!!! one of my top wishlists wants (up there with Avalanche so touche DST )

ya this is a fantastic looking wave and a great send off for everyones favorite Muties until we can get more. Can I ask Zach, is there a particular team/part of the MU that will be mostly explored next year? or is the verdict still out? I will be buying multiples of every set, that Avalanche is a dream come true especially with both looks AND that bad ass reuse of the broken concrete used as street chunks! (genius). Pyro looks a little goofy but i think thats the product of Pyro being a goofy looking character to begin with, though the fire pieces are bad ass. seriously guys, thanks, DST has come through for its fans time and time again and while lately a LOT of fans have been questioning the companies loyalty to its fans, im glad that hasnt discouraged you guys from pulling out all the stops for us.

Wolverine, Ironman or Spiderman make the most sense as the shared character, Ronan, Mysterio and the Sentinels dont warrant that many releases in the same year and Zach has said another Vision isnt likely right now and that Quicksilver isnt directly related to the wave. i dont wanna go off on rampant speculation personally and im sure someone here as guessed a majority of it already but if we have to get new versions of any of the 3 aforementioned characters, I still want a true Weapon X Wolverine, an updated Modular Ironman or Space Ironman and for spidey id take an Amazing Bagman, an updated 2099, or modern Scarlet Spider if that counts

I think what Zach meant was that he would be released around the same time as wave 60, course I could be dead wrong about that

I actually think the All-New X-factor costumes are the best the team has ever had especially when drawn by Kris Anka there are very few Marvel Now looks that I dont want, Marvel has always been good about updating designs and id say their current initiative is the strongest yet

designed and drawn by the fantastic Valero Schiti who also did the art for the Battle Beasts comic so its not the first time DST has done renditions of his work also since it looks like no ones posted a link to the instagram pic

Vision looks great and checks another must-have off my list! you guys are doing a great job with the Marvel-Now looks Zach and thanks for the instagram teases, they sure made my day Does Vision come with alternate limbs or is the one arm always gonna be mid-phase?

this TRU wave is like an answer to my prayers okay so the line up seems to be: EOTE Spiderman/Mysterio Godkiller Ironman/ Ronan Anka Wolverine (YESSS)/59 Sentinel Quicksilver/??? my guess would be an updated Vision or Marvel Now! Magneto or maybe Crystal??

hows the stock looking on the two-packs? i am interested in getting a full set but will have to wait due to financial issues

Sadly it will be quite a while before I get these as I have chosen to wait for all my orders to ship together (so come December probably ill have a package the size of my house arriving) on the bright side it will be a helluva christmas(or maybe new years) surprise and i did order 3 before the cut off so ill be getting lots of goodies this set looks great Luke, i hope DST embraces it and gives you more exclusives heres looking at you Zach

Moon Knight ill probably be dropping now that Ellis and Shalvey are leaving, they did a great run and I think I can be satisfied with just that moving forward. as for Saga, my friend loaned me the entirety of the series so far and I just cant seem to get through it, It has nothing to do with the quality of the book I just cant get myself to read it for whatever reason. I still think East of West needs an HBO adaptation im very excited to jump onto All-New Thor, and Axis when those begin, and im SUPER excited for the new artist joining GOTG (Valero Schiti) as I am obsessed with his work on New Avengers and he actually was the artist behind the Battle Beasts mini-series (which is how I became a fan of him)
