Pick your two favorites. I made Prime first, since I'm obsessed with him. Then, making Megatron seemed the next logical step (why make the main hero, if you're not gonna make the main villain?). From there, I just started to eyeball my Classics shelf, and see what Minimate pieces I had in my parts box. The Daredevil mask and Doc Ock belly dictated Bumblebee would be next, and an Invisible Woman torso decided Soundwave for me (yes, his tape door is translucent!). I just tried to go through the ranks of who I knew (I was just starting to get back into TFs, so I had to be reintroduced to everybody), the 20th Anniv. DVD helped provide inspiration, as well as some great design ideas from Lurch (my Starscream is almost exactly his design!). I made Springer, and now Jazz, because I'm really starting to love those characters (maybe not enough to supplant Prime as my #1, but still pretty favorable). Headstrong was made simply because the Rhino headpiece was just too perfect (thanks again for them, Lurch! And the Cyclops helmets - Jazz used one!). Plot it out first, before you jump in. These designs (even the simple G1) are pretty complex for such tiny, detail-less figures. Something I've learned is with Minimates: Less is more. Dude, that looks manufactured!! It looks like the C3 one (which I still need so badly), and that's a compliment, trust me!

If I can offer some constructive criticism: You're getting too close to them, the camera's focusing on the wall behind them. Also, the pics are enormous. The 'Mates look awesome, but it's hard to see them well, since they're so blurry.

You can suggest it, but when I upload pictures, I'm done with the custom. Every Jazz custom I've ever seen has had the giant bunny ears. Sorry, I'm happy with it.

Bigbadtoystore. A few other places that escape me at this moment. UM is discontinued, though, which makes me a sad panda.

"A boy has to decided" It's fake, but still pretty cool. There have been talks about making a live-action Eva movie, though. I've read plan rumors in magazines from NEO, Anime Insider, Wizard, Starlog, Dreamwave, Empire and Sci-Fi. Nothing about a cast, but someone out there wants to do it.

Yep. I have the first wave of Battlestar Galactica, and I've never seen an episode. I collect Minimates. I don't care what they're of. Nor do I care about ending sentences with a preposition.

You're not alone, I actually liked it too. I have also heard some rumors of it being Cthulhu. Cool. Go Matthew Broderick!! And, c'mon, Harry Shearer doing his Kent Brockman in a live-action movie? How can anyone not like that!? Cthulu, huh? I don't know, especially with how the movie's being filmed. IMDB says it's being called ...(click on my link above) Bad Robot is J.J. Abrams' production company. That logo is at the end of every LOST episode (along with an adorable child saying "Bad robot!"). IAL does look awesome. I love post-Apocalyptic stories, and I love Will Smith, so I'm definitely seeing that one...

I'll be 25 in a few weeks, and toys are pretty much the only thing I spend my spare money on nowadays. Who gives a crap what other people think/say? Hate to see you go, Chameleon, but I love to watch you leave. I'm sorry, that's gross and inappropriate, but I had to!

I hope it's not Godzilla (no matter how much I - the only person on the planet - enjoyed the 2000 version), and I hope it's not a living fireball (I'm sorry, but I much rather would've had the monster on LOST be ). I also hope the entire movie isn't filmed in the Super-8 style. That works for the teaser, but not an hour and a half/2 hours. Blair Witch at least had a decent camera filming half the movie... EDIT: It's looking like the entire movie will be shot like the Teaser Trailer. Crap. This could be really amazing, or really, super-ghey. What'll it be, Mr. Abrams? Also, "Cloverfield" is a fake title. SPOILER WARNING!! Return of The Jedi (filmed as "Blue Harvest") and Batman: The Dark Knight (filming now as "Rory's First Kiss" in downtown Chicago - yay, Chicago!) are just two out of hundreds of movies that do that for ultimate secrecy during filming. So, it's entirely possible it could be Godzilla. Which would be stupid. Why do we need another Godzilla movie!?

The DSS was just a poster in 'Mate style. They did a bunch of those (yes, Back to the Future and Spider-Man 3 are being made, but still,) I don't remember ever hearing about actual 'Mates...

MP Prime is an Alternator. And G1-faithful. There is no TF that is any better than MP Prime. It's just my opinion, but the figure is too d*mn perfect in terms of source faithfulness, articulation, transformation and size. I don't think it will ever get better than Masterpiece/20th Anniv. Optimus Prime. I have some somewhere on my PC from an abandoned Spy photo-comic I was going to do. Let me check on that...

QFT!! Though, I use a Q-tip. Lets me control how small of an area I remove the paint from. Good for taking stubble off a face!!
