I like the Ultron head. That's a nice touch. Are his gloves pleather, also? Is the shield metal or polystone?

I know I am in a fairly small minority but I like the chest piece. I like it because it separates it from the SI Beast, and he was drawn as a hulking...um...beast in the 90's. I think it fits in this case and I hate the power chests.

I can confirm but can not provide a picture of the piece. It is a totally knew sculpt that looks like the moment of impact on top of dickless's head. It is in the full page ad for them that is separate from the other DST ads.

So anybody notice that the playset and thus the two figures attached to it are no longer on the shipping list nor are they TBD. Looks like another bust for a playset, license, and mates.

Yes and Wizard had an article that had technical drawings for the minimates and possibly a playset if I remember correctly.

I think Chuck also was saying that they have already been tested as toys, so they can not be reclassified.

Maybe this is DST's way of justifying having an unknown have more slots in distribution. Hawkeye is paired with a heavy hitter so you know that he is going to be 3 or 4 per case. The Surfer and Swordsman are in conjunction with other box sets so my guess is these will either be 1 or 2 per case much like the Angel/Warpath.

My wife is the anti-hoarder. If something sits in her closet for more than the season without being worn, she attempts to sell it, failing that she donates it. She does the same thing with books, movies, toys, would probably like to do it to me. I have since adopted her mentality. I am now worse than her. I only collect Minimates, phoenixes, and NGE. There are some rare exceptions but basically that is it. If I can not display it, it has to go into storage. If I have to store an item then I just do not buy it anymore. The morale of my story is the same as what MOC stated. If you are not doing anything with it, and it is no longer bringing you joy, or it is actually causing fraustration, get rid of it. Sometimes I miss my M.A.S.K. toys but then I look at my curio of mates or get out my parts bin and I am just an 8 year-old kid again and I don't care about stupid 7 points of articulation and bad spelling. Keep what you LOVE, the rest is just eating up space. If you can not decide on an item keep it. It is better to have than to have had and sold stupidly.

And still no mention of the Game 4 pack. How can something be produced and ready to ship yet never make it out the doors.

I know this happened before with 'mates showing up in an Avengers Initiative issue, but it has happened again. I don't have access to a scanner but Deadpool 900 has a story with minimates in it. The Invaders and the Zombies both show up. There also other Diamond items.

It seems like the only games worth watching weren't televised here, except for the Vikes v Steelers, which was sad. Sorry Doc there are 3 teams I love watching lose Pats, Steelers, and Cowboys, in that order. I have never rooted for Brett Favre in my life and I think it was sad that I had to on this game.

Personally I am all for more mates regardless of how I get them. I was able to get Goth Girl and I had to jump through hoops to get her. I was able to get all the exclusives through various avenues. If we only got 32 mates a year, yes our checkbook would love us more, but we would constantly be crying why haven't they made Deadpool, Vulture, or Kang yet. We may hate that we have to scavenge for these guys but at least we can get them. No one makes us buy them the moment they come out. Patience is a virtue and eventually will net you the mate you want. I am amazed they did not try to capitalize on the Deadpool fanaticism that is out there right now. He is still fetching $20 on ebay. I am surprised also at the lack of army builder, and I am suprised at the reissue of OMLogan rather than a second new figure.

This is amazing for two reasons 1 it is wonderful looking and 2 that you were able to keep the C3 mansion parts from exploding mid build to the point of utter fraustration.

I have only been able to catch one game and the tail end of two others but Yeah I have been a fan since I was a kid and seeing them be the team I wished I could root for is great. I just wish they would stop with the down to the wire shnanegans.

Yes in one of the most amazing scenes ever he literally mows down a bunch of zombies.
