I know you guy aren't too down with the Spiderman variants, but i think the BT Spiderman looks pretty good. Definatley worth the inclusion, pity they couldn't have altered the colour from green to orange, like in the comic for the TRU set or regular wave.

Punisher vs. Mystique

Yeah, Punisher through the ages is a good choice. I think the previous Punisher mates are a little lacking, defo need an update. Plus anything that would get me a Franken-Castle I'll sign up for.

Sorry... old thread necro and all that, but thought AoA fans would dig this. Starting in May's Uncanny X-Force #11 by Rick Remender, the X-Force team will travel into the AoA universe for cross-over event. DST will be pleased as they have these sets out and have a few more AoA characters & Fantomex on the way. Might this even lead to filling out this roster some more? I'm not a big X-Men fan at all, but this set is top of my want list of everything shown at Toy Fair. My First Appearence X-Men set look so iconic when all the characters are stood together and I think these will look even better! Thanks for pointing out the picture of Beast Buttheadsmate, I'm hoping he shows up sooner rather than latter! And I agree youbastards, adding Beast to this set would help it sell more, especially to the non-Minimate collector who happens to stumble upon it.

Makes business sense for DST I guess, they've already designed more than half of the characters. Ok, so what are the positives here: Re-releases of some harder to find / fan favourite Marvel characters. Perhaps re-tooled Marvel characters, ie. Bulky Hulk. More weapons / energy blasts / accessories. Street Fighter character updates. Not being a gamer myself... can anyone let me know what other characters we can expect except for Marvel & Street Fighter?

Love that new glider, but I can't wait to see the new Green Goblin. The last one was pretty spot on, so I'm really interested to see what they can do to improve it. Slip on mask, extra crazy looking Osborn head, pumpkin bomb accessory, rope you can use to carry a bound Minimate? Y'know, like the comic cover with Spidey hanging from it, don't know the issue # though. Perhaps that'll be the new Spiderman mate, civilian clothed Peter with shirt open and suit below?

I'm feeling something for The Goonies. Enough characters to drag it out for a while, but not to little so the licence runs it's course too quickly. And the variety of potential great/interesting looking figures mixed with the plainer figures (easy/cheap to make), i can see this making good business sense. Because of the success of Ghost Busters, i think DST will be looking for something similar and to me, this strikes the same chords as Ghost Busters. Would people buy these by the bucket load...? Would you have though so many people would buy Ghost Busters before they were released? Cool and nostalgia is why Ghost Busters was a success, The Goonies fits that too! And who wouldn't want a 2 inch One Eyed Willy to play with? Groundhog... i was going to ask how come The Goonies wasn't in your post. But after checking the comments myself, i can see more comments on my iPhone than i can see on my PC... what gives? Or do you just count The Goonies as a redundant guess?
