I would also pass on Stargate minimates. Maybe DST knows something we don't......that there is no market for stargate minimates. I mean, they don't even have busts for Stargate, only action figures and 12" figures. And lets be honest: 1, minimates = small collector market = mostly us 2, action figures = large collector market = $$$$$$$ 3, why no Stargate? more like why no Buffy mates???? there is the real money The only reason we have 24 mates is because McFarlane has the rights for the action figures. Anyway, the best part about these little guys is that they are quite easy to customize. Look at the Stargate mates people have made, most look fantastic. I say if you want specific mates that DST is not making for some random reason, make them yourself. (or pay the amazing artists on here to make them for you like I did) but hey, I could very well be wrong.

Give me the Silver Surfer and Hulk from the Planet Hulk story line. That would be so wicked cool. Doubt it will be a hulk though, with so many hulks on the way and the couple that just came out. My second pick will be anybody from the Annihilation wave story.

I have a feeling that these sets are like when they released the Star Trek TOS wave 1, where they did not produce enough for the first shipment. Hopefully the rest of us will get our sets soon.

I am a great deal of surprised at the lack of diversity for the Razor mates. If one buys a complete set, it will be 7 Cylons, 3 Six's, an Adama and Kendra. I was hoping for at least a second Admiral Cain (as she sports a new hair style the whole movie) let alone the other characters found only in Razor. It would have been a lot better to have no Cylons in the box and have main character instead. I mean, we are already getting those Cylons with the single boxed figures. This is just my opinion though. Besides, we all know what we were really hoping for as a minimate..... A Hybrid :biggrin:

Got my Titanium 2008 wave 2 grey Mark VII today. Turns out it is different then the one released last year. different colored package and it has minor paint differences as well.

Dang, the Toys R us in Canada never carried the C3 sets. We only ever had the marvel four pack (first wave with no hidden figure) LOTR 4-packs and BSG series one. The C3 sets were at the walmart though. I sure wish I bought them back then when I saw them. I also agree that working at TRU is not all that cracked up to be.

I think there is a hint in the description as to how many of each are in the case. Singular and plural words. Cylon pilots - plural Cylon Warriors - plural Cylon Commanders - plural Pegasus Sixes - plural Gold Cylon Warrior - singular Dead Pegasus Six - singular Freefall Cylon - singular So one of the plural ones will be three. Probably the Cylon Warrior. Also, what is the "x" beside Cylon Commanders? Typo? maybe. Anyway, just a thought to help us figure this out.

You folks would roll your eyes if you knew how many original green Hulks I have... Do you have like a number one hulk that you keep separate from the rest? Kinda like Scrooge McDucks number one dime? The best wave I think would be wave 15. It is chuck full of awesome goodness...... wait....... never mind.

What I mean is how Art Asylum designs the DC mates and DCD distributes them, will it be the same way with Underground Toys? (hope this question makes sense) 2, Will we see Modern BSG mates based on season 3 before season 4? It seems like all the BSG mates released so far are from the miniseries, season 1,2 and Razor. I would love New Caprica mates. 3, I Have noticed with my SciFi giveaway Cylons that some have different types of bags. One has the same type as the Cylon Elf (more of a smooth plastic) where as a couple have a more crisp/crackly bag. Can you tell me anything about this or is it news to you? 4, Non Minimate question, I went to preorder the Adama and Helo busts the other day from my LCS and was told both were cancelled?!?!?! what can you tell me about this and the future of BSG busts? 5, In a couple years when the Caprica pilot comes out, is DST hoping to get the license to make products for it? These all look great. I ended up ordering a set of BSG from AFX even though I already ordered a case from my LCS. I have a question about the Trek mates. Is the paint apps like wave 1 or wave 2? Is it painted on a blank mate (wave 1) or is it a colored base with painted on details (wave 2)? Thanks if someone can answer this.

I have been thinking about these mates all day and I am looking foward to them something fierce. I am going to have to order a whole case just like I do the BSG mates, when they become available.

Hello again, first off I would like to say thanks for answering my questions from previous Q&A's. 1, With the success over the past year for Batlestar Galactica Minimates and having shown them at this years NYTF in the diorama, has there been any new interest by retailers for the Mini-flyers. It would be sweet to get a wave of them with the two classic (Raider/Viper), two modern (Raider/Viper mark VII) and an added variant such as Scar. 2, With the guaranteed success of the upcoming Speed Racer movie, I am wondering, does DST (after the purchase of AA) have the license to do Speed Racer toys still? With Mattel and LEGO doing movie stuff and JADA doing classic diecast, can DST make any merchandise for Speed Racer these days? 3, Any chance of DST making reproductions of their Minimates promotional posters themselves or through an online venue? I have been looking for the Battlestar Galactica one for a long time and I know people would buy the cinema ones. Anyway, thank you for your time, -pickle

I have not watched The Dr. Who since I was knee high to a grasshopper Simply the fact that these are Sci-Fi mates (and from what I read/hear a great Sci-fi at that) I will most definitly be picking these up. I have always loved the look of the Daleks and hope they have them in the line. More Science fiction Mates please!!!!!!!!!
