As I mentioned earlier, I think Lara would work better as part of a Crystal Dynamics wave (as I believe she isn't PS3 exclusive). Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light had some interesting DLC that allowed you to play the game as Kane and Lynch and my personal favourite Raziel and Kain from Legacy of Kain. Nothing against the people you suggested but Soul Reaver is one of my favourite games of all time and I think this is a perfect opportunity to do them as minimates.

We should have 'em all nice and giant-sized shortly. Called it As a fan of the more obscure SF characters, I'm happy to get Abel, Hugo, Juri, Ibuki and (if the leaked list is anything to go by), Elena and my main (i.e. the character I primarily use for those not familiar with the term) Dudley. Plus with rumours of Cody and Guy being in the game as well, we can get a Final Fight reunion. However I do hope they start mixing them in with the mainstream characters as the last thing I want is for the iconic ones to be in the first few waves and then it gets cancelled before I get my Dudley :S (again, if the leaked list is anything to go by). It's a shame some of my other obscure favourites - Alex, Yun, Yang and Makoto aren't scheduled to appear. I'm also keen to see how Kuma (a bear for the non-Tekken players) is done, and Yoshimitsu's sword should be great for customisers. I wonder if this will work like the Sony licence which allowed them to get characters from various Sony Licences. If so, could this mean we can get a Raziel/Kain two pack? They were DLC for the Guardians of Light game...

Loving the Universal, Marvel, Pirates and maybe the MAX but I feel a bit meh on Walking Dead (never got into the comics or the TV series and before you say I should read it, I spend WAAAAAAAAY too much as it is to be able to afford it) and Expendables (thanks to web critics like The Spoony One, I have no love for that film). However with Lego like the Ninjago ninjas, Monster Fighters and maybe LotR I don't mind too much (at the moment anyway) as I have more than enough to spend my money on . Still sad at the lack of Ultimate MvC3. I want Strider and Rocket Raccoon (some people like Walking Dead, I like obscure Capcom characters. Can't please them all).

I was about to mention that article myself. IDW's licensing issues on the TMNT series finally got resolved so my LCS finally got me the first six issues of their series. It's really re-sparked my interest in the franchise and I'm probably going to get the 2012 figures upon release (I have to admit, I like the idea of Mikey with a Karma and Chain, though that comes from a life time interest in martial arts weapons that in turn was sparked by the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles), as well as maybe the classics - if I have the space for them

Water is my favorite classic element, so I'd be up for it. I'd love to see something I can use for... He said it better than I did, so second, though perhaps a third option would be something for a water based character like Hydroman rocketing off the ground with pressurized water. And because Hydroman based one wouldn't really work for the rest of most people's collection, perhaps do it in a way so if molded in different colours like white, tan and red/orange it could be used for Ice, Sand and Fire. On the topic of fire, as a fan of Nova, I'd love to see some kind of take off stand for him, maybe even a red/orange variant of the one you did before with perhaps more of a firey base. I also think a thunder stand could be possible but how escapes me at the moment.

Ahmen brother. Ahmen. While I am happy to FINALLY get Felcia, there is still a Talbain shaped hole in my collection. But blame Capcom as they apparently don't like using him due to limited popularity in Japan or something (hence why the mummy was in MvC2 - he's very popular over there). That and the lack of Captain Commando. Of course I wouldn't say no to a Capcom/SF & DS take 2 line Have to say, seeing the gallery Zach posted makes me want them even more, especially "slimmed down" Modern Thor and the updated Street Fighter characters.

I can't remember the name of the episode off the top of my head but in a nutshell: * The gang had just defeated Gozer and returned to the firehouse covered in marshmallow * Egon tells Peter to properly dispose of the suits as he fears the marshmallow goo will create new problems * Peter doesn't * Janine announces their new suits have arrived, i.e. the coloured coded ones we all know and love * During the night the goo reacts with the suit, creating spectral versions of the Ghostbusters whom were hell bent on trapping and replacing the four busters

Play the original Devil May Cry. It was a pretty good weapon that would turn into a scythe depending on the combo. Shame about Dormammu's lack of flap but otherwise those look pretty good. However, am I right in thinking Morrigan doesn't come with an energy attack (aka Shadow Blade) like she did in the Street Fighter/Darkstalkers wave?

As someone who wanted, at least the original Marvel vs Capcom 3 characters as minimates I feel a little... Unsettled at the idea of it ending so soon, especially with the variants the alt pallets and costumes could offer (it could get things like Scarlet Spider and Captain Rodgers out of the way). Hopefully this just means "for now" (especially when rumours of Tron being made popped up a few weeks back) and we will get an Ultimate announcement soon.

Wow, I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I think I would pretty much have the same list as you do Post 52 Booster Gold was one of my FAVOURITE series. It allowed the character to get a lot more depth and growth that I feel made him one of the best heroes DC has; I was really disappointed when his series never carried over into the new 52 especially with so many un-resolved plot lines (though someone said if it did, he'd go out of his way to undo it). Blue Beetle (at least Ted Kord) is a character I've not really read bar his involved with BG but from what little I see, he has all the "qualities" of Batman (powerless super genius inventor) but with a greater sense of humour, charm and personality - aspects I feel Batman severely lacks (though I'll admit my dislike of Batman is more due to the way other writers de-rail other heroes (especially Superman, whom I've developed a lot of respect and interest in) to make Batman more awesome by comparison - Frank Millar's work and JLA Act of God spring to mind). Aquaman is a character who gets a really bad rap but his involvement in Brightest Day actually made him interesting in my eyes and I am liking Geoff's work on his new run. And finally, Kyle is the guy who got me interested in DC and Green Lantern in the first place. Until then I was a Spider-Man fanboy/Marvel Zombie. I can understand people's dislike of the character but I grew up reading about him, much like how Ben was a key focus of the Spidey comics I started to read. Now granted I suspect Booster and Beetle are too minor to get any Lego sets made of them (which is a shame) but I'm hoping the Green Lanterns and Aquaman stand a better shot.

I'm definitely interested, if nothing else, to add the minifigs to my work desk (my collection includes various figs from Collectable Minifigs Wave 1 - 5, Dastan, Captain Jack, Indiana Jones, Lego Santa and Ash Williams). HOWEVER as someone who's not overly fond of Batman, I'm disappointed at the lack of non-Batman sets. Personally I am more interested in seeing the four Earth Green Lanterns (especially Kyle), Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Aquaman, the Flash, the Atom and the other DC heroes I find more interesting and compelling then Mr Wayne. I will be getting the Superman set though. I'm hoping another wave is announced for 2012.

I'd heard rumours a certain cosmic foe with a love for Death and a fondness for gem encrusted gauntlets that sit snugly on the left hand (which had a "blink and you'll miss it but even when I was looking I couldn't bloody well see it!" cameo in Thor) MAAAAAAAAY be in this movie. Plus when you consider we have two REDACTED that sit snugly where an Army Builder would and one in the TRU wave that an extra plot centric movie character might be...

QFT! QFT! Wave 44 - I like them all bar Cap. Wave 42 Cap could become classic cap if I wanted thanks to interchangeable parts so to me this seems like a waste of a space, especially when Hawkeye could BADLY do with being re-made (unless Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is on it;s way, satisfying my needs for a new Nova and the awesomeness that is Rocket Raccoon?). Best of Wave - I agree with youbastards. Granted the Thing looks good and I'd never say no to another Thor, but the rest are passable. Sorry.

I had a project meeting with a client/colleague a few days ago. He made a passing comment about my collection of collectable lego minifigures, and is also a HUGE fan of Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings and similar such fantasy fiction. I'll have to send him a link to this tomorrow.

The only thing I will say though, is I was never a big fan of the Resident Evil games and hardly played them bar about an hour or two of struggling to get into Resi Evil 2.

Nice work on the review. I heard in an ask DST that they're finally starting to put foot stands in their two packs (starting with MvC3) so people don't have the issue of balancing but I could be mistaken. Personally I welcome it. I should mention if you want any help with the Capcom characters, I know quite a bit about them (especially some of the more obscure characters) so please give me a buzz.
