It seems like the Crossbones set is coming down on eBay too. I just bought one for about 17.00 USD including shipping. It's a bit much, but these sold out and back ordered almost as quickly as the Hulk Buster TRU minimate set.

You can always leave for about 5 years quietly and then come back to the forum like I did. :biggrin: Beware you might not get to respond to anyone other than the moderators if you leave with a few haters cursing your name, but you seem well liked! Besides, sometimes time away is what you need to realize how silly people are and how fantastic Minimates are and continue to evolve for the better.

The only thing that JJJ is good for is a Hammer Head Quick Custom. The original JJJ minimate was awesome! Loved the cigar hand he had!

Agreed. It sucks cause the movie Thor, Cap, Ironman, Nick Fury, Hulk, Agent Coulson and Widow have already been made. They look good together as is, so I agree that getting more of the same characters would really suck. Here's hoping that we get some new character 1st releases.

Strange, they did not list the other Wave 2 MAX sets with the Police and Fire Teams on Toysrus. I wonder if they are staggering them so you don't hit the 75.00 free shipping deal? Or maybe those are short packed?

Just bought mine and saw: Logo ghost and Killer Watt is down to 23 packs left Evil Slimer and Sandman is down to 34 packs left Hurry and get them!

Please new characters. Shocker and the multiple Sandmen look great, an update would be a waste of a character slot when there are so many unreleased Spiderman Villains. Mobius is in no way a second string character and could be a really simple mate to make with existing sculpts. Molten man and Tombstone could also be easy without new parts, but I remember Chuck saying that sculpts were not the issue for cost, but tampos kill their bottom line. if they do bring on the sculpted peices, let it be spent on Rhino so he can actually look in scale in comparison to the rest of the Spidey villains.

Love the new 1st release characters (add to the roster), axe accessories, and new sculpts. Will definitely be buying this 2 of these sets. Only 2 negative things about this set: The Galactus looks too puny, will be sticking with my MAX statue or Toy Biz Galatus. Also that Silver Surfer is useless for an Antman, Atom or Wasp custom without heavy rework.

I know we had a Captain America 4-Pack Set recently that had 4 variant Captain Americas. So I am not surprised that this stunt would be pulled again, just surprised they did this for Deadpool with a movie still years behind in production. I would not be surprised if this set is a bust in sales just because the characters are not highly fan demanded, and true new release characters prove time and again to sell out. With so many new mates out folks might be tempted to skip these variants. I for one am also going to take my time and order this later when there are other new mates out so I can save on shipping.

This is one set that does not appeal to me at all. I think it might be due to having so many dupes of these characters, and these are very close to the original costume mates that came out. But.... I buy all things minimate...

Hopefully when they do make him he will be made well like the recent Green Goblin from wave 41. I want to see a Chrono Chair or at least a smack load of energy accessories as he has stood toe to toe with the Avengers. Make his head an awesome new slip on head sculpt.

Nicely put Dr. I agree it is evolution and only for the better. I think one of the main issues that kept the sculpted piece counts low initially is cost and why we saw such heavy reuse in the early waves. Having to tool brand new parts at mass production without having the solid fan following that minimates have now amassed was no doubt expensive. But things are good now and hope to see minimates for another decade.

Definitely the best Hulk we have received thus far, not only close to scale, but well sculpted compared to past releases. I lined up all my Hulk minimates yesterday from wave 1 thru 41 and it really was shocking to see not only the evolution of Hulk Mates, but also how silly the old hulks looked in comparison to this new one. Specifically look at the absurdly tiny wave 1 green hulk and awkwardly sculpted smart hulk with duck feet. I hope the evolution continues as long as it makes sense; like the removal of the duck feet to sculpted feet pieces. Next change I hope to see, creates his big hands to have a small gap so he can hold other minimate accessories if needed.

I grabbed 2x Fantomex sets, 1x Betsy set, and 1x Hulk set (At the time it was not confirmed the set was identical to wave 41, so I needed to see for myself) I got a shipping confirmation today!

Just got my set in as well and really happy with this set overall! Except my reg. Sinister has 2 left feet! Normally you can't tell but due to the boot sculpt it is really noticeable and sorta makes him look awkward!

Would love a subscription service to produce higher end quality and tooled figures. Sorta like on Matty Collector where you pay for a membership fee and are guaranteed new figures to ship on a schedule and they always throw in something very rare and limited for collectors. This guarantees a set # to sell so if you reach that medium with each new release. So the manufacturers know they can spend the extra money to really go the extra mile as profits are secure for that subscription period. I've seen some cool stuff from weapon sets, vehicles, giant scale, rare new characters, army builders, and even build a figure done well with this approach. Until then keep signing in at 2:00 AM looking for new waves to post for sale... Only 6 and counting left...

Where do you see the remaining count for items left on the TRU website? I wonder if the TRU decision makers notice how the exclusives always seem to sell 100 times better than the regular releases and keep going with their new character waves and box sets.

Yes Kang could be an amazing download playable MVC3 and minimate figure. I mean this is the kind of character in Marvel history that has taken down the entire Avengers and other superhero teams by himself. I always thought of his power at the Dr. Doom scale and his creation is long over due. Bring on Kang and don't skimp on his accessories (CHAIR PLEASE!!!!)

They were an offical AA/DST release back in the day, and were frequently given out as a convention contest prize at the AA booth etc. 50 of each were made bagged, sealed and numbered with further unknown amounts of non bagged ones in existence. A lot of the gold ones ended up with Marvel Staffers, the silvers didnt and as such should be more plentiful but oddly arent. Not that either are paticuarly easy to find tbh. The fan thing your confusing it with is the Bombmate. Thanks for the info. I will start the hunt and the wallet draining now...

Downloaded and tested, the Free App is really nice. One thing that surprised me was the Gold and Silver Spidermans were listed. I thought those were hand made exclusives by the original mini-mate fan team (3 website versions ago). Did not realize they were a true DST release as stated on the app. Now I have to try and buy them if they are indeed true DST release Marvel minimates.
