Those handle bars freaking rock on S.T.R.I.P.E. I have to say the Star girl and S.T.R.I.P.E. set are the best in this wave. Ton's of new custom molds, and now interactive design? Genius! The more I look at my DC minimate collection, the more I crave cooler looking specific model sculpts and scales. It really adds a diverse look to the collection. Can't wait for that Clay Face minimate (and , yes, they still all look like minimates)

Yes, let's all play nice. I was just trying to tie social norms into this. If you have any knowlegde or understanding of industrial/work studies, you would know that the decline of british power in the Uk has been outlined and studied extensively in multiple discourses. Alcoholism has been attributed to this directly. About 9 decades ago (90 years ago) UK, passed a law that all all bars close at 11:00 unless you obtain an official license. This was basically to give the workforce a fighting chance to get over their handovers. The UK also has a greater appreciation of work-life balance. So they often value personal time over work time. Japan and the US is actually rated at a higher work ethic than Europe currently in studies. Lert's not let your emotions get the best of you, or result to low brow insults against me or Americans. I'm actually 100% chinese and first generation in America. Like always, before you guys start going nuts on me, do a little research and keep an open mind.

I also noticed that the UK post office is a total peice of crap. Everytime I mail eBay items there it takes FOREVER to arrive to my customers, and I've had one instance where it was "lost" It seems like every business line in the UK is slower than America. I don't know what really causes this laid back approach to everything. Possible massive alcoholism and drug abuse?

Damnit, is there some mailing order to this?? I still haven't received my mates! I hope they offer a second award or contest. How about a collection giveaway for those of us that are huge fans that sunk thousands into the line. If you can show your 250+ minimate figure collection with you standing next to it, you get a free "hunt" minimate, etc. Any other Chicago folks who haven't gotten their exclusive minimate??

I completely agree that if you go with guns, give Cap some GUNS! MAchine Gun, A-K, Rocket Launcher. Anything the army uses or issues, Cap should be able to use. As for his new design, everything looks great but the legs. It looks like Ross didn't finish the designs. If you are going to be that elaborate with the upper torso, why not bring that consistancy to his lower body? ESPECIALLY if it serves as advance tech / armor.

I wouldn't knock the sculpted peices yet. They can offer a larger variety of custom parts to use. I always am disappointed in figures like Silver Surfer, Spiderman and Cameleon, because it ffels like a cheap way to produce figures at a low cost. I want to be able to see a silhouette of a minimate, and tell who he/she is. That's a sign of strong design. If that can be acheived better with full sculpts, than that is fine with me.

No it does not. It is a single mold similar to the Kilowog head. What is cool is that it has a mini 2' head scult on the 2.5 body. This gives it a great "Big Robot Mecha w/ a tiny human inside feel." The real S.T.R.I.P.E. has the human all contained in the torso, so I'm glad no removable mask is available. I just took off S.T.R.I.P.E.S. gigantic upper body armor peice, and the body peice has a decal of Pat Dugan piloting the suit! Great Detail, but makes the scale suffer. Awesome regardless. The Cheetah and Supergirl Hair Peice is amazing. Mine has blue panties (I know of the wierd Mary Marvel crotch) The BlackHawk has 2 guns but only one holster sculpted to the dress peice. Hello all, I just got my wave 6 set, and I am blown away at the detail and quality. Rather than step on the toes of the "official" reviews in this community, I just wanted to point out some minor details that rocked my world. 1. S.T.R.I.P.E. this is a huge 2.5 minimate with AMAZING huge details on his chest peice and boots. NO MISSLES!, should have come with something. At least Star girl has her staff. 2. Cheetah has a tail like Nightcrawler, so it's study and won't fall off during posing/play 3. Removeable medal for Bizarro!!! In case you were afraid it was molded to the cape 4. Sgt. Rock and Black Hawk did not have a seperate hair peices! Sorta upset w/ that move. Would've preferred anything, even exact remakes of other hair peices. It seems like this Series just keeps getting better. Thanks DC for raising the bar!

My local comic store is run by my former illustration co-worker, so we have a good relationship. I usually buy online stuff when it comes to rare minimates. eBay stores are great too if they accept best offers. I've gotten some sellers to accept some pretty great prices. Customer Service is an integral part of any business. If a stor owner flicked me off, I would never go back. Not only that, I would probably have spit at the window after he flicked me off. Hmm.... a rock does more impact than spit...

I have not received anything either. I participated in the Target event, and contacted D about my Rocky hairpeice issue. Does anyone live in ILLINOIS / Chicago that received this promotion?? I'm wondering if they had a mailing pattern or order.

Besides the forehead issue, I really hate how they made Thor's helmet wings the same color as the rest of the silver helmet. White Wings would have made this figure really stand out. F.Y.I. Scarlet Witch does not have a LOTR hobbit cape on. Everyone buy this set!!

This line and the figures in it are fantastic. Finally a Titans team to form, an expansion of the Green Lantern and their all time greatest enemy. When a company pushes their possiblities, you don't say, wait is it still technically a minimate? You applaud them. Look at how great Clayface, Brainiac, and Bane have been. The torso on Salaak is amazing. These are the types of inginuity and inventing that pushes the envelope and define great toys, and help evolve toy lines into something great. P.S. Yes, they are still considered minimates.

Just got all mine today the detail on the back of Bane's Mask and head is great. Everyone needs to get these ASAP.

I FINALLY FOUND MY GRAIL! Real nice series, check out the animated series or comics from way back first. Ebay auction item #: 140122326692 These figures could not be bought in stores. The only way to get these figures was to buy every previous figure from the same line, cut out the proof of purchase and than mail it all in with an entry form. From there entries were selected to win this set. I understand there to less than 300 produced globally, although if anyone can provide the production count, please do so, thanks. It was never on ebay for the past 2 years, but suddenly popped up twice. Once on the UK site for 300.00+ Pounds, and than on the US site as a live auction. Thank you God! I wonder if the seller is a member of this community??

They're actually repaints that I'm ok with. I've often complained about the contstant Spidey, Wolvie and Cap repaints, but these I'm ok with. I'll be buying these for sure. These are actually new sculpted parts. The Wolverine big-chest has awesome sculpted shoulder covers, rather than just painting the arms. This will be a great custom part. The mask/helmet on Wolverine, Luke Cage's head peice, Hulk Hair peice is new too. Calling them repaints does not do this great line justice.

I have never flaunted my wealth, and I never said I had alot of money. I actually posted once that I was a banker/artist and made only about 35,000 annually. I sold the Deathstroke cause I'm saving for a downpayment for a home. I've been selling tons of my stuff on ebay for really cheap prices. I'm at a point where I'm willing to lose some just to have cash in hand. You may have never experienced this, but it's not about karma. It's about saving and making a life investment.

I love minimates and minimate memorbilia. I have a personal collection spanning hundreds and am going crazy over the DCD minimates. I'm not just in it for the money. Making money from minimates/collectables to buy more minimates/collectables is not wrong. I've tried to offer good faqs, F.Y.I.s, and opinions on this board. I would think that I have been more productive than just a "ranter". Wasn't trying to add more spam, just honestly couldn't find the first thread I opened on this. I think for my span of time with this community (I'm a member of the old site), I don't post too many responses in ratio. I should not have to defend my devotion to minimates and comparisons can't be proven. On a seperate note. I'll stop being a Penis.

I believe that he locked my recent post for selling my custom deathstroke because he "Did not care". How does making that judgement made on everyone's behalf benefit the community or promote a friendly open discussion thread? There may be others who would like to respond. Your opinion should not be the consensus. I have always responded with due respect to Ady, but have consistantly felt attacked by his insulting/condecending comments. And allowing others on the board to attack me. Can other staff help or help me understand the rules here? I feel almost like Ady here is asking me to leave this community based on these actions. I thought that Ady's staff role with this board was to make sure that rules were not broken, or that the members here were not attacked. Please advise.

I finally sold my custom Deathstroke minimate from my eBay store Comics and Figures Now. I can't locate where the original thread was, but a few weeks ago I listed a "controversial" item in my eBay Store due to it's high price and lack of weapons. I hope this item found it's way to a minimate member on this forum. The ebay winner is "gshot" and I'm positive he has bought other minimate customs in the past. 2 things that suck: The original price I paid was around 95.00 including shipping, so I guess this artwork has depreciated over 30%. Sorry folks, I had to go to my grandma's 80th b-day and could not get pics. To answer questions: Yes, Battle Damaged Batman has a hair peice. But unfortunately I can't get his mask off and don't want to forcefully pry it off. I got these from Diamond Distribution. I have an ebay store "Comics and Figures Now" and get alot of items at retail. My buddy also manages a comic store so I order through him to get retail discounts. I did notice a wierd flaw on G. Arrow. His hair peice and hat look really stubby and huge. There is extra "skin" under his ears that look ugly. Think Big Chest Thing hair peice and how the sides go down to his shoulders. Aquaman is also in desperate need of some "scales" on his upper body. Just so you all know these mates are the BOMB!

HOLY MOLY I JUST GOT THE NEW SET. I am blown away by the detail and thought put into these. Marvel has big competition. Ares - 2.5 Body. I like the size, his sword and axe fit perfectly. The only bad is that his face is all black with only 2 beady red eyes. Perhaps a LOTR Strider head/Hair for a human Ares? Wonder Woman- Great hair peice, good detail. Golden lasso accessory a plus Killer Croc - 2.5 Body. Great for Scale. Great hands and feet. This is a great sign of future big monsters. (Doomsday, Mongul) Battle Damaged Batman - Can't get his mask off! Good Design. Green Arrow - Great accessories!! Only down part is I can't get his ammo/arrow back pack off. DeathStroke - Great accessories comes with sword that fits on back, Robin Staff, and a cool new hairpeice. Only down part is that his ammo belt is a clumsy half upper torso. Can't really use this for quick customs. Has AWESOME Boots that are one peice with the feet. Aquaman - Sorta simple, I would have perferred a hook hand, long hair/beard for detail sake. Great spear accessory and his feet have great little fish hooks on the heels!! Ocean Master - 2 inches onlygreat detail. Awesome wrist gauntlets. OVER ALL: Miss this and you will be sorry. Great set! 70-100X better than the vomit/mates that Marvel has recently produced. GO DCD for the great product!
