Well I really like my DC'mates and I've had some hot ex's. So either way its a loss.

At SDCC I was at the Will Eisner panel and they were majorly hinting at a Spirit cartoon. I believe that was the reason for Darwyn Cooke leaving the comic book series. There was some stuff on Wiki, not the greatest source, but it had something.

This topic hurts. It's like thinking of a hot ex-girlfriend...in bed...on your birthday.

Damn you Eva Mendes! This could be the second time she has killed minimates! On another note as a Spirit fan, I was totally bummed with the movie, and the possibility that a Spirit cartoon might be canceled. Damn Frank Miller! Now the producers are writing the comic so they can supplement that towards the movie. Hopefully I'll get my Spirit comic mates and with my archives I can relieve the good days.

I just wish they didn't use the lines they did for their packaging. "My city screams. She is my Mother. She is my Lover. And I am her Spirit." No wonder she screams.

I am very excited for this set. Love the look of the mates, very Eisner looking. Can't wait for these to happen.

So...minimates. I'm happy with these last two waves.

So far we know the Emotional Spectrum to be: Red - Rage Orange - Avarice Yellow - Fear Green - Will Power Blue - Hope Indigo - Compassion Violet - Love Then adding to that is Black - Death I'm loving this story line so far. I've been a fan of GL for years and I've never been this excited about the books. Geoff Johns is the man.

Can you do a pic of War Machine with the first Ironman (wave 6) and Movie Ironman Mark III? Thank you very much and to let you know, I am envious. I can admit it. Damn waiting game.

Guess I'll wait for Spirit Begins. I hope Michael Uslan's run on the Spirit comic does horribly too. I have every Spirit section and comic book issue, thanks to DC archives, but I might have to miss on Uslan's upcoming arc. Hate when people say they love something then sell it out. When I see Uslan at SDCC next year it is going to be bad.

Hey Spider I know how you feel. As a Spirit fan it is really depressing to see what has happened and what could have been. At least there is the 1987 Spirit movie and the possibility of comic book Spirit minimates.

I want both of these sets, since I'm a minimate fanatic...would hate to miss out on these. Do you guys think Eva Mendes is bad luck for minimates? This is her second attempt at minimate glory and once again it might pass.

I went in with a very open mind, and I know the Spirit. I kept myself from comparing Miller's to Eisner's and still the movie bored me to tears. The dialog was horrible, the narratives were meaningless, and it was like watching an hour and a half bj to Sam Jackson from Frank Miller. Different tastes for different people, sadly this might have people stay away from Will Eisner's Spirit. Did anyone catch Paul Levitz, DC's President and Publisher, saying "you'll believe a man can't fly?"

Oh wow...that movie was boring. I mean I was bummed when I found out Frank Miller was going to be involved, since his style doesn't match Will Eisner's. Then I continued to stay positive, just because of the shot in the arm for the Spirit, but after seeing the film, wow. It sucked horribly. I'm glad I didn't pay for tickets and I can't complain about the time wasted as I should have known it was bad. I almost don't want to get the minimates as I am done with this film, but I don't want to miss the chance for Spirit comic book minimates. I hope Frank didn't hurt the Spirit too much.

Packaging feels like Brady Bunch

You know they could have done a Grey Hulk and After transformation Banner as an exclusive two pack. Hmmm...now I'm thinking of repainting one of my movie Hulks grey.

Well earlier today I went to my TRU, in Yuma, Az and no luck. Just got back from Calexico, Ca and got the Ironman Stealth/Gauntlet Tony and Spiderman/Kraven two packs along with a DCUC Captain Atom. Nice find, made up for being awake and at TRU at 4a.m. for nothing. Its so funny that Calexico got them and not Yuma, both are nothing towns, but wow...Calexico? Also packed with the minimates is a poster of damn near every marvel minimate available. I have it as a scan, but don't know how to post it yet. If anyone wants to host it...

Yea no luck at my TRU, and I even asked an employee and he said no luck. Damnation.
