  1. OH MY GOD YES PLEASE. I've been replaying Budokai Tenkaichi 3 for Wii recently, and I would kill for some DBZ mates! I mean, come on, there are so many colorful characters, so many part re-use opportunities, and enough versions of Goku to keep the line going for years! IMO, DBZ would be absolutely IDEAL for minimates. Hell, maybe they could even get innovative and have the Saiyans come with alt. heads and hair for Super Saiyin. Then they'd lose money, but... Of course, there is SS2, 3, and 4 too... Fat Buu would be a minor challenge too.
  2. The more I see kubricks, the more I want them... Damn it, I can't afford this!
  3. The thing with most of the MK characters is that they're almost ALL humanoid enough to work extremely well in minimate form, and most of the designs are simple enough. You might not be able to do... Moloch, but that'd be about it.
  4. Once upon a time, there was a company that realized that it could do simple repaints of toys and re-release them over and over ad nauseum to foolish fans of toys who would just keep on buying them whenever possible. After the Classics Optimus was released, and re-released as Ultra Magnus, and re-released as Henkei Optimus by a sister company, and re-released as a translucent Henkei Optimus, and probably re-released again a couple of times as characters that I don't know about, Nemesis Prime was born! And they all lived happily ever after. . .except the foolish fans who were out of money, and who thus had to resort to eating their toys. You forgot Shattered Glass Prime
  5. What's the story with whats? There's no picture!
  6. How do you like Grimlock? He is the one Animated figure that I will probably pick up. Well, I just got him today, so I haven't had forever with him, but here's my pros/cons list: Pros: Badass sword Nice size Simple but interesting transformation Pretty nice articulation Cons: Slightly wonky arms He's really nice. My favorite remains Lugnut though. I'd highly recommend him, assuming you dig the wild color scheme.
  7. Man this thread is quiet. I wouldn't normally double post, but... I got all of the ones available spare Prime and Megs, and I love every single one of them. Lugnut is particularly AMAZING.
  8. For the marvel waves, you typically get 3 two-packs per wave, for 6 regular figures, and 1 variant. In every case, you get 12 two-packs. You get 3 of each two-pack that doesn't have a variation. For the single two-pack that has a variant (so, Vision/Hawkeye, or Archangel/Apocalypse), one of those 3 two-packs will be the variant pack (or one variant pack per case of 12). You only get 2 of the "regular" versions of those two-packs per case. So, regular Thor is actually rarer than Quicksilver, for instance. You get four two packs, with the variant pack being one of the four for its respective pack. That's what I thought, anyway.
  9. If this is your first, be careful... the rest of the internet is much harsher
  10. I thought you'd be one of the nay-sayers who would say we need less duplicates and more unique characters as you're still waiting on a Deadpool...because of this post and your lack of bitterness I'm going to join the "Deadpool for wave 24 25 campaign" T. Oh don't worry about that... It's only a matter of time before DST catches on to the fact that Deadpool is awesome, and give me a whole Deadpool wave... Deadpool (classic) Deadpool (modern) Deadpool (ultimate) Deadpool (AOA) Deadpool (in boxers) Agent X VARIANT: Deadpool (Marvel Girl Outfit)
  11. I'd felt for the longest time that the four Iron Men we had (stealth, regular, silver and classic) weren't nearly enough compared to Wolvie and Spidey. I see this as sort of a catch up...
  12. Fujis, it's just shocking! I mean, not in a bad way, but when I think of customizers, your name isn't the first that comes to mind. So, what the hell were you doing with all this talent?! Actually, customs as a whole are a lot better nowadays. Call me crazy, but it seems that all the customs I see nowadays are just all great looking!
  13. Okay, fess up, who do you know at DST that gave you the Sagat prototype. That's really great work there Fujis!
  14. I wanna say really hot water should loosen them up, but I wouldn't try it before someone wiser than me gives the approval. Anyone?
  15. I see commercials on SciFi for Dr. Who. Do they only show old episodes or what?
  16. You don't have to buy the product from the banner do you?
  17. Just saw that. So Shane, how much did they pay you to advertise? I kid. Actually, what more caught my eye is the 12-inch Snake Eyes that's available. I've never dealt with Sideshow before. How are the products?
  18. Should we put shipping info in the message? Thanks guy(s)!
  19. Like, regular paper? I did it and it worked. Pretty sturdy. If I find my camera I'll take a pic.
  20. They're a little tougher to make than I thought they'd be . I made Hunter Rose Grendel, because my printer only prints in black and white for some god-unknown reason. He looks really cool up on my TV by my Captain America Deadpool minimate, my MP Starscream, and Mighty Muggs IM.
  21. I'm right up with you. The designs on these guys sell themselves.
  22. Just swap the chest, that'd at least help.
  23. I've seen them all over the place here, but been waiting on my BBTS preorders -- should finally ship out today. I wasn't expecting the wave 2 and 3 figures to show up at the same time as wave 1 though, so that'll be cool to get them all together. I'm getting Bumblebee, Prowl, Blackarachnia and Grimlock, and might grab a Jazz later... the rest of the designs don't appeal to me as much (in the toys I mean, I think the overall character design on the show is great). In this weekend's episode (the one that aired in Canada anyway), You lucky sonuva.... We still don't have em' here. My friend just picked them up! AUGH, I can't wait! It just isn't fair!!! I just have to scream...
