i actually like the civilians here, and abomination looks great. i wish they'd used a similar torso frame for the hulk.

awesome work! the bald eagle may be a little better with the legs backwards so as to have the bird/chicken legs but scarecrow and gordon are perfect. i marvel at what it must've taken to do the face detailing on the commish! EDIT: whoa, the solid snake pic just loaded and it's similarly great. he even bears a resemblance to colin farrell!

it's all good to me, although i do share the sentiment of character costume variants being less important than all-new characters getting the minimate treatment for the first time. i wouldn't mind if they saved most variations for boxed sets like these and having the mass-release 'mates focus on new characters.

indeed. i would've chosen a snarling face for Nuke, since that's what he always seems to be doing, but i do admire how you were able to paint that flag on!

she's... wow, she's kinda hawt. forgive the fuzziness of these... i really have to save up for a better camera than a cell phone one. i was actually inspired partly by the Burton movies which this costume seemed to hearken back to as well as the C3 group shot at the back of the Batcave box, which had this bat-costume on clear head/limb parts.

that's gonna be a lot of shortening. might have better luck with, say, the superhero squad one, but those may be too heavy. maybe twist-ties? doc ock arms?

those two are sweet, Mattalica, and i'm really glad to see someone finally made customs of them. they do work well in the Minimate format!

yeah i'm thinking of three sets too, although i did use Iron Cow's idea on my Batcave pack-in Burton costume [using a Twilight Frodo body]. anybody want a couple of spare Kirby Hulks?

what kind of help do you need? ordering help. and some psychiatric help for the obsession with minimates. although that may not be just me

well, there's some logic in that second one, TM2. also, Heroes AND Classic Avengers! woot woot. finally, wasp and ant-man! [EDIT: no yellowjacket ] they're among those whose looks haven't changed all that much or gotten dated, so that's awesome. also, gold classic iron man! EDIT: toynewsi had some concept art pics up. if these are sold as 2-packs, it'd make sense for ant-man or giant-man to be the variant. but they seem to be missing a character or two for the numbers to be right; maybe this'll be a boxed set. i'm not too thrilled at another hulk but he does look really good; gold iron man might just fill my need for the classic armor . wasp looks nice; i'll just give her some regular hair and we're off to the races!

eegh, sucks, dude. thankfully if it was just the shoulder ball joints, you could look for another generic [or color-matched, at least] torso thanks to the powerhouse torso keeping the sandman look.

by some magnificent stroke of luck, i found a two-pack on the cheap locally [if anyone wants the Aquaman and Black Manta's body, lmk]. i'd like to go the opposite route though: what size is the Minimates neck balljoint, so i can have that size a hole drilled into the base of the Black Manta helmet?

i was hoping they'd be out to more or less coincide with the movie. but hey, if they come out sooner than the spidey3 minimates did in relation to THEIR movie, i'm happy. and pepper... man, i walked right into that one
