  1. Mail just came! thanks Luke! looking forward to diving into this sticker set, but right now just stoked to have my Strike Team and Mystique is happy to have her Brotherhood. (now i just need to make a custom Spiral figure)
  2. Since the figure bases are all the same, there's always the possibility that someone might be willing to send you Jubilee's head if they have extras. Queue up gif of Brad Pitt asking "What's in the box?"
  3. I have seen them at several Barnes and Nobles that I have been in lately.
  4. i saw a few jubliee/destiny sets on ebay for like 10 bucks, but i have a feeling that pack is going to turn expensive quick.
  5. i am not exactly sure what the central divide is gonna be because in the MCU there aren't really any secret identities, as you said, so i am sure it's gonna be more about who the Avengers are accountable to. i would guess that after a small city was wiped off the Earth and another city was wrecked by the Hulk that the UN is probably gonna sanction the Avengers and demand that the US government does something about getting them under control. Tony and Steve are on good terms now, but nothing divides friends quicker the politics. although I don't think there is going to be a super human registration act, or anything like that. i think this is really just gonna be about something more personal that drives them apart. i am pretty certain that Bucky is going to be central to their divide. i think Stark will find out that the Winter Soldier killed his parents and he's gonna want to bring him to justice. i am really interested to see who is gonna take whose side in the split. of the New Avengers, the only ones I could imagine joining Stark are War Machine and maybe Vision. even Hawkeye seems unlikely to take his side (depending exactly on what the argument is). that's why i think that Zemo is probably going to emerge as a sort of wolf in sheep's clothing, where he's someone that Tony makes an alliance with not knowing that his intentions are to kill Cap. Black Panther and Spiderman are the two characters I am most interested in what they will be doing. i think Panther ends up being an ally to Tony and Spiderman seems likely to join him too.
  6. Classic Avengers: Black Knight, Hellcat, Quicksilver green costume, Mockingbird, and Tigra are the only ones I REALLY want. 90s Avengers: werewolf Cap Marvel Now Avengers: Dr. Strange, Wasp, Havok, Rogue, Odinson, and old man Cap would top my list. Classic X-Men: Banshee, Sunfire, Marvel Girl (green dress), Kitty Pyrde training outfit, Brotherhood Rogue, 80s Rachel Summmers yellow Phoenix costume 90s X-men/factor/force: Sunspot, Syrin, Havok, Strong Guy, Wolfsbane, Polaris, Multiple Man New & Astonishing era X-Men: Xorn, Quentin Quire, Armor Marvel Now X-Men: Magneto, Cyclops, Magik, Emma, Jubilee, Storm, Psylocke, Beast, X-23, Professor Kitty Cosmic: Moondragon, Mantis, comic Guardians (orginal version of the team), Gladiator, Quasar, Silver Savage Inhumans: the rest of the royal family Random: Deathlok, Agent 13, Machine Man, Misty Knight, Man-Thing
  7. Would like to imagine those final two figures might be Falcon and Scarlet Witch in their new costumes, but that's probably just wishful thinking.
  8. I like to imagine Zombie Blob ate his own guts.
  9. I don't know where you live but Captain Marvel and Scarlet Witch are both pretty scarce around here. Hawkeye and Sentry however are literally everywhere to go with all those unbought Guardians wave Iron Man figures and Winter Soldier Buckys.
  10. I really want them to give us a good villain team at some point. i think there's enough bad guys left to put together an MCU version of the Thunderbolts or Masters of Evil (assuming they quit killing everyone). you've got Zemo, Crossbones, Abomination, The Leader, Klaw, Yellowjacket (if he survives Ant-Man), you could give Justin Hammer some stolen Iron Man suit and he could be the MCU's version of Titanium Man or Mach V, Absorbing Man was on Agents of Shield...they could recast him with a bigger name actor for the movies, Taskmaster is just begging to become part of the MCU at some point, I am willing to bet Moonstone will probably be one of the villains in the Captain Marvel movie (whenever the heck it comes out) and then you also have options like Songbird, Grim Reaper, Wonder Man, Radioactive Man, and Whirlwind that you could introduce.
  11. yes, there are all the pieces in that set you'd need to make a good, classic looking Deadpool plus a shitton of accessories for making other alternate Deadpools.
  12. after several years worth of bad Marvel events, it was nice to see one start off with a bang. i think it'd be pretty rough for anyone who hasn't followed Hickman's Avengers run to get what the hell exactly was going on, but i thought it was a pretty damn good 1st issue. i really like that they are setting Doctor Doom up to potentially be the "hero" of this story as he, Molecule Man, and Dr. Strange face off against the Beyonders. i also enjoyed Colossus and Hulk teaming up for a fastball special. the best moment though was definitely the Punisher showing up to ruin Kingpin's end of the world party.
  13. that's a really good use for one of the most useless Iron Man figures I own.
  14. i would guess Feige probably vetoed it like he did about having Ms. Marvel show up in the New Avengers reveal. maybe they were worried that having the Hulk turn grey was gonna confuse people...who the hell knows? it woulda been cool, but in a movie that was this freakin' geeky and comic book-y I am not gonna complain.
  15. in my area this is definitely the case. both comic book shops in town don't carry minimates and we have a 2nd and Charles that only carries the Walking Dead ones. none of the other comic shops that I've called about 'mates in the surrounding areas carry them either. I have to do all my shopping online.
  16. This is gonna end up being the most repurposed wave ever. So many great pieces for quick customs.
  17. There's no blockade but licensees certainly aren't encouraged to offer X-Men or FF product. An X-Men wave seems like a no-brainer for a "Best of" assortment, especially given how well Series 59 has done, but to Zach's point, the group has been through so many costume changes over the years that it would be hard to choose a truly ironic look. Yeah, if we do get a Best of X-wave, it would either be Astonishing, Bryne, or 90s stuff I'd actually be okay with the Astonishing era looks getting a fresh update with how far the line has come since they were first released or new sculpts/repaints of the Giant Size X-Men if we could somehow get Banshee and Sunfire added to it.
  18. i imagine that making a Stan Lee 'mate requires permission from the man himself to use his likeness. My first vote was for The Watcher but now Man-Thing has jumped into first place. Attuma is a distant third.
  19. Yeah, all the Hulk needed was an alt. head and the second Vision wasn't needed at all. they could have maybe done "naked" Vision as a variant, but yeah extra figures for each character is pretty useless. would rather have had a bulked up final Ultron and a new Nick Fury.
  20. The Watcher is my vote. it's ridiculous that we haven't gotten him at this point, so I will take ANY version I can get.
  21. i could think of 8 X-Men figures that could use an update that would make a pretty great "Best Of" wave Brown Suit Wolverine (finally one that nails the colors and look) with Colossus in his red and white mid 80s uniform Blue and white X-Factor Cyclops with a red and yellow X-Factor Jean Grey a new sculpt of classic 70s Storm with a green and yellow classic Banshee Quicksilver in his original green costume with Angel in his yellow and red 60s costume.
  22. still waiting on my 2 complete sets from Luke, but broke down and bought an extra Jubilee/Destiny so I could finally have the modern Jubliee I have been wanting.
  23. all the X's are weirdly placed on my figures.
