I was at TRU earlier and I stumbled upon these. They are a bit pricey for me @ $19.99 each but due to the absence of Watchmen minimates they are tempting. Here's a pic.

I believe those are being distributed by Diamond. They are up for pre-order at various places online, but this is the first I've seen of them in-hand. I agree that $7 or so per block figure might be too pricey for U.S. audiences, though. Maybe at comic shops, but Toys R Us?

I had to sit those down in order to take the picture. I assure you they were picked up.

That would be cool to see TRU expand and carry other block figures like this, but only if it in no way interferes with getting more new minimates!

NO!! Jeff, don't do it!! That KISS set is terrible. Cheaply made, poorly painted and terribly sculpted. DO NOT waste your money. I'd rather see you spend the money on a KISS Smiti set.

I see how bad it looks and yes would much rather have the smiti set if I could find it lol

I came across those Watchmen Kubricks at my local TRU too and was like "WTF"?!? As much as I really wanted to add some mini-Watchmen to my collection (even at $40.00 for the lot), I just couldn't do it as Kubricks no longer do anything for me personally. As cool as they looked in their boxes, it just made me sad that we didn't get any Minimates for this.

I agree kubricks!!! we neeeeedddd minimates of the watchmen and if were real lucky all the minutemen,when I herd we wernt getting minimates of them my airbrush went to work,I dont think we are going to get them but this would definatly be a hit to everyone involved in the minimate process im sure,but my faith rocky we are getting them my goal is to make all of them here are my first two take a look
