Secret Warriors and F4/FF were good, but thats because it seemed like Hickman actually wanted to write them. most of the Avengers felt like he was forced to write them, so other than pet characters like T'Challa, Namor, 1610 Reed, Maximus, and Doom, Hickman wrote the rest in such a boring and matter of fact/completely out of character way.

Damn, terrible? Everyone's entitle to his/her own opinion, but I'd never call him terrible. Sure, you may not like him, but terrible means that whatever he's written has been devoid of any emotion, action, etc. Basically, it means that he's worse Bendis. And no one is worse than Bendis. I myself have found his run brilliat, albeit it slowed down a bit too much at times. It wasn't a classic Avengers book, but the story and emotion were damn great.I actually like Bendis. His character at least have emotions, even if the dialog is garbage.Today's issues of Avengers/New Avengers proves how incompetent he is as a writer. Rather than jumping into Secret Wars completely, we have to deal with the damn final incursion first. We spent an entire comic watching Cap and Tony for no real reason. And on New Avengers, all the interesting exposition is glossed over or doesn't make any sense so it's a whole waste. Hickman knew how many issue he had left post time skip (hell, he had a time skip because his glacial pacing was too much) yet he still squandered all of his precious time on the most boring aspects of his run, and hand waved the only good parts.

It's so sad that the lead up to Secret Wars has been a mind numbingly dull mess of nothing happening. Hickman is such a terrible writer.

M-day.. Anyway, too bad the Cyclops they cast looks like the missing link. He is fugly.

The idea that stockholders will be more pleased if a movie opens up and is already profitable by the time that the US opens. Its stupid, though, since ticket purchase estimates put this movie at making most of its budget back in the US alone on opening weekend, so thats a wash. Honestly its because Disney and Marvel hate the US.

I was hoping for a web cape for 2099, but I guess I can make one or steal one from another figure.

But Bendis made about 5 or so new X-characters (1 of which is gay) just a year ago. Tempus, Triage, Goldballs, Morph, and HiJack.

My only issue with Maestro is ... we already got a perfect one in the Hulk TTA set. But he does represent a major zone. So we got Old Man Logan, Future Imperfect, Spider-Verse, Civil War, Captain Marvel and her Corps, Thors, Age of Ultron, Armor Wars, A-Force, and whatever Howard is appearing in. If we did get a 2nd wave or tie in set, I'd be super happy with getting some reps out of Siege, 1602, 2099, and Inferno.

Marvel Knights would be good. Plus its an excuse to ride the Daredevil gravy train.

Secret Wars is a wave you can milk easily for people to join up, so a 2nd one wouldn't be too out of the question.

Based on what was revealed today and Zach's quote- We get 3 straight redos with Ultron, Maestro, and OMlogan . New character is Whor. Howard pleases a lot of people. Arno is a variant. Now to guess who is part of the Shared set.

Was hoping for this stupid team so I can move on to ranting about another Marvel team, but it seems I'll have to wait. Uncanny Now, Revolution, etc etc etc. In the mean time, Iron Spider and Gwen looks amazing, and I'm glad we're getting a nice looking Iron Man costume. But another Electro? Come on... At least redo Vulture or Kraven. I would kill for a modern Moon Knight though. A C-Lister with a highly reviewed current solo, and 5 others before. So I wouldn't say that he's just like Dazzler, who's had, like, 1 solo and is currently appearing in no books. Dazzler is appearing in Uncanny X-men as a new member of Scott's team after Mystique kidnapped her and used her to make MGH.

Magik being sexually anything seems wrong. The girl was raised in Limbo for years, and her current body soul thing is technically only like 2 years old lol. The issue with old Iceman is we haven't seen him confronted with this. Once they both interact, then we can fully judge the time travel nonsense. Also, FMK... FM with Teddy. He's a big ol' softy and half kree/half skrull.

I'm still waiting for the damn Ripley preorder, but we have had 15 Iron Men up for order in the span of time. I'd get Ultron, but for 250, I could get a figure with 3 guns, 2 staves, a bodysuit, and eletro shock gloves. Ultron has only one accessory, and it's really useless. Maybe he'll go on sale

Emma is a bitch, but only when she needs to be. If she doesn't gain anything out of it, she'll keep itto herself.

Plus remember, Adult Iceman was surrounded by psychics who had way more tact (Xavier) or knew from personal experience that outing someone isn't the right answer (Emma, due to her brother, and being a hag), or were dead/more polite (Jean).

Ultron Mk. 1 is probably the best Ultron so far.
