Dunno how I feel about Hickman leaving FF/Fantastic Four (maybe he'll continue S.H.I.E.L.D.?) but I'll buy that FF Medusa 'mate in a heartbeat and the Dr. Nemesis one.

I think its time for a Future Foundation wave. White Doom, Nathaniel Richards, and since we could use smaller mates the kids could be there too (don't forget Dragon man). Ronan The Accuser is long overdue for a minimates as well as the rest of the Inhumans, so does most of Marvel's Cosmic heroes.

I'm on that same boat Shane, I got mine form Luke's too (fast shipping btw, def buying from him again) but what threw me off was, as you mention Zik's wings. They're really floppy and can't hold a pose. That and Vorin's knees weren't attached properly. As far as the design goes his armor does get in the way, the left ar is basically useless since he can't lift anything due to the cloth and the shoulder armor seems a bit obtrusive. Other than that the sculpting is really great and the new parts are a hit. I'm gonna give it another try once they hit retail but I'm on the fence on this new line.

I somewhat agree with ImABarRoomHero, it is a slow start, the humans characters might throw it off for me. I know Transformers had them, but they were just supporting/background characters, these humans look like they'll stick around for a while. Still I'm definitely looking forward this first arc and possibly any homage or cameos from the old Battle Beasts.

I'm really excited for the new stuff, specially the Battle Beasts. Really looking forward the new parts and sculpts, hopefully we'll see new and improved mates in the months to come.

Well the old vehicles ARE silly, but something animal-themed could work out, like a shark-boat, rhino-tank or scarab-hovercraft (since we already have Horus in the comics).

I wonder if they'll eventually release vehicles like the old line did. And will we ever get those playsets that were shown to have the Croc Battle Beast?

The thing with Minimates is that they're basically a collector's line, something major retailers avoid. They should try the building blocks again with kid-friendly licenses. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the only one that comes to mind with a collector market appeal too. That and re-design the hands to hold other brick-type weapons.
