  1. I don't know how accurate these release dates (or any since they always seem to change), but here's a list just posted today: Series 2 - March 28 Series 3 - April 25 Series 4 - July 5 Series 5 - September 19 Source: http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=102108 (scroll to the bottom of the article) I'll just believe that they come out sometime around that time.
  2. Could it be? Finally, a total U.S. direct market minimate release! I'm glad for those who reside outside of the left-coast who have been taunted by the one week delay in the past minimate releases.
  3. I'm very curious to see the minimatization of Tobey Maguire and Topher Grace in the Parker/Brock 2-pack. Spider-Man in every single set. Good thing I like Spidey! Hurry and release some pics DST!
  4. Just posted them here: http://www.minimatemultiverse.com/index.ph...amp;#entry29213 Not the full magazine, but just the minimate related stuff.
  5. I don't know if this stuff has already been all posted but I just scanned the pages from the latest Toyfare magazine for those of you who wanted to see what was in the article: Here are the pages: Page1 Page2 Page3 Page4 Page5 Here is a closer view of the articles (sorry, if the text is still too small): Articles1 Articles2 Articles3 And the DC Minimates ad: DC MM Ad Did I miss something about the sizes of the DC Minimates? Closer View
  6. Regarding ol' Osborn, I'm glad that he ditched the pink purse and finally got a manly brown one. I still laugh over the description, "Unmasked Green Goblin (w/ mask)".
  7. I envisioned a more simple approach on the "Civil War" Spidey (like TBT's) but I still like the figure enough. Just looking at that figure made me wonder what it would look like if they used a gold translucent base with red paint apps to give the effect of the reflective gold parts. It's probably not feasible, especially since the eyes have no way of illuminating strongly if everything else on the head was painted but it's just a random thought. About that Web Armor Spidey, I hope nobody tries to pass that off on Ebay as a genuine Silver Spidey.
  8. Please don't tell me how much it will cost me this year. I don't really want to know and want to take them one at a time.
  9. I just read issue 1 last night and it was a fun ride. If I didn't start reading the series yet, I wouldn't have been too excited for these figures. My only gripe is that Luke Cage is blocking Spider-Man's broken leg. Well, I don't know if the figure has a broken leg but I would like to see how AA attempted to pull it off, if they did. Where do I sign up? Let's hope for some Arthur Suydam covers for the display boxes!
  10. Hey Shane, remember that the latest couple of waves got a price hike so a case is actually a little over $100. http://www.diamondselecttoys.com/store.asp...CategoryID%3D76 http://www.diamondselecttoys.com/store.asp...CategoryID%3D76 But they apparently will go back down in price after the Ghost Rider Movie Wave. http://www.diamondselecttoys.com/store.asp...ategoryID%3D270
  11. From this forum post: "Best Buy will have exclusive Iron Man Trading Cards. Circuit City will have an exclusive Iron Man Laser Cel w/ C.O.A. Target will have an exclusive CD-ROM comic book. Wal-Mart will have an exclusive Dr. Strange Comic Book." None of those exclusive really made me want to go out and get them. Instead, I ordered on Amazon.com. Saved some money on tax and gas. Also some more on shipping since I wanted to get Marvel Zombies but didn't know what else to get until this came up. I was hoping a minimate might get released with this DVD, but we should have gotten a report by now from someone on the streets. Oh well, I still can't wait to watch it.
  12. Steve Rogers could be Ronin or Iron Man? Or both? Does that mean Steve Rogers is on both Mighty Avengers and New Avengers? And appears in both Iron Man and Captain America titles? Nah, only Spider-Man and Wolverine have that magical power to appear everywhere at once. I wonder if there will be a Captain America: Tony Stark...
  13. Iron Spiderman. It better be in one of the next waves or a summer con exclusive this year.
  14. I think this timeline is a great idea since I have no clue anymore what is being released when. So close, yet so far. I really need to start a penny jar to save up for all the minimates. The past few years were dry, but now it's raining minimates!
  15. I forgot to check my mail earlier today but I was surprised at what I got today. I wasn't surprised by the letter from Donald J. Trump, but was from the small package from DST! Thank you for the gift DST! By the way, I got the bloody version.
  16. Whew, glad to know that Minimate Multiverse still exists somewhere. I thought House of Multiverse was going to be our permanent home now. Huh? DC's Multiverse still exists? But... What... How... This means that a major crisis is bound to happen. I unfortunately don't follow 52 other than by occasionally reading the weekly summaries online on ComicBookResources and Wizard's websites and I haven't been reading them lately. So basically Skeets is having a major malfunction and going on a killing spree? Heh, Supernova. Who else could it have been? I didn't truly believe his death anyway. By the way, how did you find this one out Ady? Did you really know how to read the column?
  17. Alfred/Jarvis 2-pack 2007 Summer Exclusive Marvel and DC Minimate Sampler!!! Great idea, Ady!
  18. These announcements are great. DST really wants us to shut up this year. There's just too many choices left for the last two. The one figure that would catch me off guard would be War Machine (if they want to consider the West Coast Avengers too). I'm sure Ady will get the best announcement tomorrow. WE are THE minimates forum afterall.
  19. Thor vs. Loki. Hammer vs. Cup. Who's gonna win? Plus, do I feel a wave with accessories with every figure? I think I smell a Hawkeye with bow, arrow, and quiver. Hey TBT, weren't you asking for some more accessories like beer bottles in scale with Iron Man? Think this will be okay with you?
  20. Hey Ady, today is Thursday. Can you please reveal the latest Avenger? I wasn't sure if I was going to like a classic Thor, but I think they pulled it off quite well. The Avengers have a huge roster, so I wonder if Iron Spidey will make the cut... Bring on Iron Spidey/Modern Iron Man! Remember folks, you can ask questions to DST at our little subforum here.
  21. Spider-Man looked cute and he has some amazing friends! Plus, they save more space than collecting the normal 6 inch action figures.
  22. Can I enter too? You know, to possibly complete the bloody/non-bloody set? Sorry, that's very jerkface of me and I won't enter again but I'll put my vote in for yes. There's a lot more deserving people than me so I think more should be given out only if it is not much of a hassle for you, DSTMatt.
  23. In the second image I posted, the shading in the picture mislead me to thinking the colors were a tad darker. Seeing it in person, it doesn't seem as dark as it seems in the image. I just felt that image was a little bit misleading and I was disappointed when I saw it in person. It's just me being picky.
  24. TBT, you probably have seen a few pics online, but here's a couple I found of an opened Ultimate Iron Man. http://i.toynewsi.com/g/index.php?mode=alb...ends%2FSeries_1 To be honest, I was absolutely going to buy it when it was first announced and they showed the pictures online, but after seeing it in person, I don't know anymore. It didn't look like the image shown of Ultimate Iron Man here: http://us.st11.yimg.com/us.st.yimg.com/I/w...e_1929_21665036 I should have remembered how it looked like when we went passed the Hasbro's booth last year at SDCC, but then again, I thought it was still a prototype. If I see it around Target/TRU, perhaps I will still get it but I won't be running around town trying to find it. I think I like the Marvel Select Ultimate Iron Man's look better ( http://www.comicbookbin.com/ironman.html ) but I'd still want to see that in person.
  25. I'll bite. My answer was the current Iron Spider-Man costume. I mentioned Thor too, specifically the Lord of Asgard/The Reigning Thor just in case DST is listening but my official answer was the Iron Spider-Man. My Thor reference: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/b/ba/Thor-54.jpg I'm still in awe of TBT's custom of the Iron Spidey. It's beautiful...
