Found a single full set today at the store closest to my place so they've made it as far as Minnesota. Awesome wave, and Squirrel Girl is just adorable with her Squirrels! Will start checking for more since I cleaned them out today for others on this board when I can.

What head and face did you use on that Moira? Looks spot on and I haven't been able to find anything even close to looking that good.

Thanks Zach. That clears that up, sorry if my question came off harsh or accusatory. Wasn't the intent. That makes sense with Animated 3, that wave seemed to be unveiled and distributed out of no where.

Thanks! So end of November-ish then? Just curious since Animated 3 and both the DD and JJ sets have pasted it by and it was looking like Strange might too. I'm just really jazzed about this wait and want it in my hands. Wasn't the original projected date end of October though and been pushed back to mid November? And yes I realize I used projected in that last question and what it implies.

Any update on this wave Zach? It's looking at this point like wave 70 may beat it to shelves...

According to Zach's posts in the Daredevil/JJ thread it sounds like both those box sets and 69 are any week now. They aren't on the release list for 11/9, so 11/16 would be the soonest any of them would go out but that is a maybe, maybe not as well.

If DST makes a Crystal mate for the Inhumans movie or just in general all is forgiven... Just saying.

So no Wave 69 release in October? Doh!

Oh yeah. He replaced Thing beside Iron Man. Nope that just slipped my mind. Still I feel like part of that change is coming down from Marvel of "must delete all Fox owned heroes" which was what I was thinking when I read about that change.

Regarding X-Force, fun probably isn't the right word but it was entertaining because it took a bunch of X-men regulars and put them through the ringer to see how much they could take. I thought it really proved that Logan was capable of leading a team of his own. Plus it had some great moments like the stuff with Rayne and Hrimrari, the time travel stuff with Cable, Laura and her "issues" (did that ever get touched on later?) and James finally getting closure with his brother. But yeah it was a super dark book, but really almost all the X-books around that time were. There was buses of kids getting murdered in New X-Men, Jubilee and the Dracula storylines, Necrosha, Cyclops going all Mutant Savior, Madelyne Pryor showing up in bondage gear (ewww,) Vulcan starting wars and killing everything in space. Not much light-hearted stuff in any of the X-books at that time. It was all so Grim-Dark so I can see why people wouldn't like it but there was some good stuff sprinkled in there.

Should be a couple of weeks still. They don't release until mid or late November after the movie is out.

It being changed on the greatest hits wave is odd when you consider that both Wolverine and Thor are part of those waves but neither Star-Lord or Hulk are.

This is a great idea for a thread! I agree with Vis and Trev, Wave 28 is my favorite and I wish that was the figure that got used in the "Best of" and "Greatest Hits" waves. Just nailed Wolverine in every way a figure can. Least favorite is this... I like the costume, the colors and the storyline it's from but the figure just falls so flat for me with the wide boots, the new mold for the mask makes Logan look like he has buckteeth, and the mask just looks strange in general. For a future mate I want Daken. That was the one disappointment for me with wave 72 was no Daken.

An Iron Man comic wave like what we are getting for 72 would be great! Hydro Armor, plus Blacklash, Grey Gargoyle, Whirlwind, Living Laser? Add in a few other Iron Man Armors and I'd be all for it.

Zach confirmed it during the panel. He showed the Daredevil set and said something like "and remember there are plenty of Hand ninjas in wave 72."

Great mix of alternate looks for a "tentpole" figure while having some great choices from wish lists! Would've liked Daken instead of Magneto (just not a fan of the black suit but I know others are,) but I can live with it. Here's hoping we get more waves like this if say the New Mutants or X-Force movies ever get made.

Greetings fellow MNer! I've found a set in single full set in Apple Valley (I bought that set a week ago though) and have sighted the Power Man set in the North Rochester store. That is 2.5 I have seen in MN. Don't think series 3 is out yet.

That was my thought! Suddenly excited because I'll be able to use these for my Iceman since I already bought a case from Luke and will get two Blizzards. Do we have a release date for when in October these go out?

Could always use the Laura/X-23 from the blind bag series to add another "Wolverine" in there. Could do the same with Daken as well... Would like to see those two get recycled somewhere easier to get ahold of. Add the Weapon X costume and that's 3 "Wolverine" mates that people would probably be ok with. Add some the others mates people have brought up in this thread like Deathstrike, Gladiator, Maverick, Beast, etc. Maybe Jean Grey in her green and yellow Marvel Girl costume. Release alongside move and call it a win.

How can Land be an artist on this? Like serious question. There can't be THAT much source material of huge monsters out there for him to trace... I look forward to seeing 8 different monsters all in the same pose from some Godzilla magazine I guess.

Looked through my parts bn and don't have anything really close. Thinking I might have to paint the Best of/ Greatest Hits Wolverine body. Really just needs blue squares where the black triangles are, and a blue neckline. My plan is to use Hwoarang's hair piece and repaint it blonde for his head.

Reading this reminds me I need to get ahold of Luke to see if he can add an extra Colossus/Nightcrawler to my order. Want to try making Nocturne and Mimic customs using parts from that set.

(Reads above post. Thinks for a second and remembers the extra Pyro sitting in parts bin. Dashes off towards said parts bin!) Could work. This is what EricM was referencing I'm figuring? We're already getting SG. An update of Cloak and Dagger would be awesome as well.

Those three would make great mates if for no other reason than to have the Kazar and Zabu to go with Shanna and Speedball to get some New Warriors rolling out. Plus it bums me out that we have Penance but no Speedball...
