MINI_MYTE
Bad news everybody. Looks like Jon Favreau and Marvel Studios have parted ways. No IM 3 in Favereau's future. Boo! More evidence and a confirmation. Edited December 15, 2010 by MINI_MYTE
karamazov80
Bummer. He did a great job with the first two. He was so money, and Marvel didn't even know it I just read earlier today that he was having issues with Marvel over the Avengers movie, but I didn't think it would come to this. Trekker 42
Curses. He did so well with Tony. Hell I daresay his movies made Tony into a better character than the comics did. Ah well. I eagerly await Cowboys & Aliens. Mostly because it's Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig in the old west fighting aliens. I'm also excited to find out what he'll do when basically given the entire Disney canon to work with and told "Put it in one movie. Go crazy." gambitron
That is too bad they will be hard pressed to find someone to do as good a job for IM 3.
MINI_MYTE
My worry is that the cast won't be so "gung-ho" to do the third installment without JF.
karamazov80
I think Downey signed a long-term contract, including starring in a 3rd Iron Man movie. That doesn't mean he has to put much effort into it, of course.
Nekoi
That's a real shame. It will be interesting to see the differences without him.
