TBT!
hey I just starting actual customizing and was wondering what the best tools are for cutting. ex. turning a powerhouse chest into armor. any and all input appreciated. I use an exacto knife, cheap and easy to find. The secret is to make sure you keep it sharp and if it starts to get dull then swap the blade out. T. groundhog7s
I find chainsaws work great (well, if you're making 'battle-damaged' versions of characters). Edited November 22, 2009 by groundhog7s
karamazov80
Plain old razor blades work well if you don't have an exacto knife on-hand. Same basic thing, just more "clumsy" because you don't have the stability that the longer handle provides. Referring to customizing Minimates, by the way. RE Exacto: Not as clumsy or random as a blaster, a tool for a more civilised age? T. p.s. I have no idea what Doc is talking about..... * do I look innocent enough yet?* p.p.s. I dont have to worry "stability" I'm more than happy with the length!
