Bob Harris
So, I was at the Brooklyn Book Festival today and there was a great panel with Jim McCann (currently The Reunion Mockingbird/Hawkeye), Dan Slott (currently Mighty Avengers and Spiderman 600), Fred van Lente (currently Incredible Hercules and especially Action Philosophers!) and Peter David! That was amazing! Was anybody else of those New York 'versers there? (I was also shaking hand with Paul Auster, but that's a different story...) karamazov80
Look at those fellas. They are your stereotypical "comic book guys" for sure Edited September 14, 2009 by karamazov80
Twisted Two-Face
Am i the only one that thinks that Fred van Lente looks like pre-subway Jared in that picture?? neat group, but way too stereotypical. That's sad.
karamazov80
I'm not too far removed from the guy with the glasses, unfortunately I'll probably look like the guys on either side of him in about 10 years. NorthRaider
Is Peter David the one wearing a Multiple Man shirt? Sweet! And Action Philosophers sounds fun to read, I wonder why I've never heard of it before
Bob Harris
Yes, that's him. In fact, at first glance I thought it would be a pretty messed up Thor shirt... (Speaking of Thor, I learned, when they were talking about him, that I never realized how he is pronounced in English! Since I'm used to it's "original" (?) pronunciation in Middle Low German or the Scandinavian languages, that in English you would of course pronounce the th as a th instead of a simple "t" phoneme ... ) And Action Philosophers is a very, very good comic series and being a student of philosophy I can even tell you that most of the stories are very well researched! buttheadsmate
"phoneme"? Bob. just because you've just realised that Tor is Thor I'm not going to call you! Bloody Hell Man....get a grip ! I was calling Prof X. ...X-Avia for donkeys years until some clever-ass said it was Zavia  And New York? PM me.
