minijoeshmo
figured I should post an intro so I dont get my ass chewed out later, heh... Im a single 28-year old graphic designer from Maine/NH, and Im pretty new to the world of minimates - my first was Speed Racer and his Mach 5 a couple years ago, but Im a longtime Ghostbusters fan and have recently started collecting the GB minimates... so far I have the wave I box set and the GB2 Winston/Terror Dog 2 pack as well as Terminator T800/Endoskeleton 2 pack... now my speed racer is inside one of the terror dogs so I can have Louis on his own... I also bought all five of the GB 2-packs and the wave I box set for my nephew for his birthday later this month via eBay, and Im also constructing a Ghostbusters themed firehouse playset to go with his GB minis - Ive been working on the designs for over a month (using my Real Ghostbusters box set as a base), and now I just need to have them printed (hopefully on decal paper to make less work) - it was originally going to be a 2 floor building w/ a firepole and staircase with 1 wall removable, but ended up being open on 1 side w/ no stairs and no firepole (I decided Im not that crafty, and my nephew is turning 5, so he'll think its cool anyway) here are my original designs but for ver. 2, I changed the dimensions as well as the design - I decided to make it more like the movie firehouse etc... I altered things a little bit more, and finally came up with this (mockup) Ive finished assembling the main structure (3 sheets of foamcore, craft GOOP and wide clear packing tape) - I havent put the 2nd floor in yet (its photoshopped above) but when the whole thing is finished I'll be sure to post pics here... karamazov80
Welcome minijoe. That is great! If DST were releasing this instead of that generic looking lab or whatever it is, I would be a big supporter of their dioramas. Look forward to seeing some pics of the real deal. Trekker 42
And a good day to you sir. Welcome to Minimate Multiverse. And as a new guy to the Multiverse, you must be subjected to the crucible known only as the T42 MOVIE CHALLENGE!!!! I quote a movie and you name the movie. Sound simple enough? Good. Now let's see what you get. "Goddamn I love working on American soil Dan. I haven't had this much fun since Woodward and Bernstein!"

Danny
Really glad to see the new licenses bringing people in. There seems to be a LOT of rabid Ghostbusters fans out there! Nice work with your diorama plans, Joe. Have a great time here at the Multiverse!
