Trekker 42
Paul Newman, known for his roles in Butch Cassady and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, and to the little ones, Cars died in peace from cancer in his home on Friday. He was 83 years old. He'll be sorely missed. He came from a generation of actors that were much more um, civilized than the ones you see now. People like him are the type we need in Hollywood. Yet another legend gone. Rest in peace Mr. Newman, rest in peace. Edited September 27, 2008 by Trekker

The_Donster
Yeah, some of my favorite movies of his are Slapshot, Cool Hand Luke and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. I wonder if TCM will have a best of now that he's passed? Thanks for the memories Paul, may you find some peace in the next world.
karamazov80
Butch Cassidy and the Sting are absolute masterpieces, but my personal favorite of his was the Hustler. An amazing actor who was in some truly great films. Sad to see him go.
