cut2thechase
I'm betting at Toy Fair we'll see Tigra and the first reuse of the new She Hulk buck, Valkyrie.
MinnesotaIceman
Has anyone found the new West Coast Avengers 3-pack yet?
Nessex
I found them in Australia today. Mockingbirds paint aps were pretty good on one set & a damned mess on the other, so pay attention when you are selecting your packs. I wouldn't mind owning Mocking bird, but it's a pretty steep price-tag for one figure.

I hope someday we get a Mockingbird Minimate, too...
Hawkeye's Junk
I'm hoping too we need Bobbi!
Twisted Two-Face
She's one that needs a variant slot. Classic and modern are both just SO good; great designs right there. And i just really like Bobbi... Edited January 29, 2013 by Twisted Two-Face

And i just really like Bobbi... Agree 100% I hope that when we get a Mockingbird Minimate, we get both of these costumes. I love this costume and I love this costume
Hawkeye's Junk
I agree the Classic is a must but I do like the modern take on her. Just keep her away from Mephisto.

Chazwinski
I got a huge shipment of these today (unfortunately, I have to stop collecting for a while as I will be jobless as of April ). Still, it was nice to get a cheer-me-up today. Angel is phenomenal. I love the way these wings were done...Probably my favorite of the bunch. Black Bolt uses the same technique as Spider-woman on his under-arm wings. Hawkeye looks like a kit-bash of the Secret Wars version and Dark Hawkeye version. Hercules is great. I love this new body mold...It's sturdy but it moves more easily than the Hulk mold. Karnak is okay, I guess...not much interest in him. Longshot is a disappointment. REALLY goofy face on him IMO...and too tall. Medusa is a nice sculpt and her hair is used as kind of a stand (like Scarlet Witch's cape), but it makes her pretty useless as an action toy. I don't like rooted hair, but I think it would've worked better here. Mockingbird is a Firestar repaint, but despite the inaccuracies (sleeves), this works for me...I like it a lot! Nighthawk: I'm not too interested in this Batman wannabe, but it is a very cool looking fig. The cape is very light and I haven't had any issues with him toppling over, like I thought I would. Nice design. Nova is a little disappointing to me. He looks so good in the pics, I thought he would be a fave, but my figure doesn't like to stand up. The extra sculpting hinders his arm movement, and I feel his head is too small. Puck is the weakest figure to me. He isn't even as articulated as Hasbro's new Yoda figure, which is the same size...just lame to pay the same amount to get such a small C-Lister IMO. Rogue. Finally! We get a Rogue. The Jim Lee outfit isn't my favorite, but I realize that it's her best-known one. They tried to give her some facial expression, which I respect... but it may not work for everyone. I think I would have stuck to a neutral expression, myself... and her face looks a little thin to me. Awesome articulation though...even her big mane of hair is sculpted to not get in the way of movement. War Machine and Wolverine are basic repaints. I hate these colors for Rhodey...and I would have preferred the Wolverine head that we saw at SDCC, than this one that I already had... Grrrrrr. These made my day though...and even jobless I will save to get the upcoming Emma Frost and Elektra figs. Must-Haves for me. LOL.
Nessex
Ah - you beat me to it! I just found the Uncanny X-Men set. Nice pics & comments. I'm loving Rogues jacket. The face isn't perfect, but over-all, i think it's the best rogue figure we've seen for a long time (i wasn't a huge fan of the offerings from ToyBiz's ML and X-Men lines). Chazwinski
I can't believe it took them so long to get us one... and yes it is a vast improvement over this: LOL!!! I would love to see some more Rogues. She has had several distinct looks and deserves it.
Nessex
Sweet Jesus - i forgot about that. She really has had a terrible run, hasn't she? I don't there's been an atractive Rogie figure until Minimates cam along.
Heroic Slacker
I really want the X-Men set just for the X-Babies version of Cyclops.
groundhog7s
That's quite a haul and thanks for sharing pics. Where did you end up getting all of them from?
Chazwinski
I ordered them from BBTS a few months ago, Groundhog. As soon as I found out I was going to be laid off, I went to cancel my order and they had just been shipped! I was actually happy because I got them and don't have to feel guilty about it. It was fate...
Nessex
Sorry to hear about your job, chaz. Hope you find something else suitable real quick.
groundhog7s
Yes, hope something comes along soon enough so you can keep buying these (well, and food and other important stuff too).

Glantern
Just got my shipment from BBTS tonight. Befare I go anything further, I have to say this: THEYMADEANIGHTHAWK!!!!THEYMADEANIGHTHAWK!!!!THEYMADEANIGHTHAWK!!!!THEYMADEANIGHTHAWK!!!! *fhew* okay, I'm better now. I've wanted a Nighthawk action figure since I was five. I even made one of my batman figures into one using a batman and colored tape when I was much smaller. Anyway, in addition to the aforementioned Nighthawk, I got the West Coast Avengers and X-Men sets, and a Herculese figure. I really like the X-Babies Cyclops, even though he can be a bit difficult to get standing I pretty much echo Chazwinski's comments on the rest of the set. I'd kinda like to someday get a Longshot figure that's not quite so goofy looking. West Coast is cool for Mockingbird. I think War Machine was a really odd choice for the set. Even if they wanted to do a rerelease, I think Silver Centurian would have been a better fit. War Machine didn;t exist for most of the series run, and was only a member for a few issues toward the end. But hey, whatever works I guess. I like the new Hawkeye. Think I like the original just the slightest bit more, but I still feel this one of MU's strongest sculpts. Herc is incredibly cool. It's awesone to have almost completed the Champions in a second scale. Is it too much to hope for a Darkstar with her Champions look?(It's probably too much to hope for a Darkstar at all...) MinnesotaIceman
Well, at least we have the five original members of the Champions. But yeah, it'd be cool to have a Darkstar. Does anyone know of any good places to buy MU figures online for a reasonable price? Most online stores that I've seen charge much more than retail stores do, and most of the stores in my area never restock. And Chaz, I hope you find a new, better job ASAP. JeffBohn
I found the Nova wave in stores today at Toys R Us. Grabbed Nova for a friend. Current sale is 2 for $14.99.

Well, technically, we still don't have a propper "champions" angel, because the one the just released is blue, not red. I get my MU stuff from BBTS mostly, but they're up to 15 bucks a figure for the latest wave. Also, if you keep an eye out, you can usually find them with in a few bucks of retail on Amazon, often eligible for free shipping.
groundhog7s
Would the Angel in the TRU X-Factor work for a Defenders Angel?
Nessex
Would the Angel in the TRU X-Factor work for a Defenders Angel? you'd probably be better off waiting for the Running change. I'm pretty sure Hasbro said they'll be releasing a red version of his blue halo costume. There's less customising that way - you just have to paint his gloves and boots yellow.
