Is the West Coast getting the Avengers sets on the 18th?

And more importantly next week is SDCC, No doubt Diamond will want whatever is about to be released to hit at the same time as that.

I was actually wondering about that. Does it do DST any more or less good to have stuff hit at Comic Con than any other week? If preorders have been weak, I wonder if they're not pushing everything back to October so they can use all of the Con coverage as a pseudo-Toy-Fair boost for solicits.

Also, didn't someone say something along the lines of wanting to cancel his preorders that were originally planned to ship the week of of the Con, so he could just buy them there? If that mentality (yeah, I did it, too) softened the preorders, maybe DST doesn't want to hedge their bets on whether as much volume actually will get sold at the Con.

my guess is that they would want to have new stuff at comic con. that way they will be new and exciting and hopefully get some new people interested. I remember when minimates first came out was at the con. that was the high light of my comic con.

I also hope they come out next week for a verity of reasons: 1) more minimates are never a bad thing (except on your wallet). 2) since I can not go to the con this year I like to have a "mini con." OKreally I just go to my LCS and hang out. so this year I will have something to brighten up my spirits and I can pretend like I am at the really con.
