Your post has to include your all time top 5 ... something... anything ( music books comics girlfriends etc). Ok I'll start and to keep with the flavour of the book to movie theme here are my all time top 5 movies based on books... 1) Jaws - got to be 20+ yrs since I read the book but it's still the best movie Spielberg has ever made... "Here's to swimmin with bow legged women" 2) LotR - Star Wars to the "post Jar Jar genearation"! 3) Blade Runner ( Do androids dream of electric sheep?) - Ridley Scotts beautifully shot scifi master piece, underated and stunning even today! 4) To Kill a Mocking Bird - 5 words Gregory Peck is Atticus Finch. 5) Jurrasic Park - It made me feel dinosaurs could be real real for the first time. It depressed the hell out of me as a kid, but as a (sort of) growed up I realise it's the best of the Star Wars films 2) Star Wars. It all started here. Magic on a cinema screen. 3) Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Amazing film. Richard Dreyfuss shone. Don't think he ever had a better part. 4) Mars Attacks. B-Movies done big. Cows on fire.
