Well i've just got back from my lcs after picking up this weeks minimates & the new jenna jameson comic (hey someone's got to.... right) and brand new day was sold out already :o so someone out there's buy this rubish

theres an old saying "there's no such thing a bad publicity" we're all playing into Joe Q hands, good or bad all this talk is bring attention to the spiderman titles

in last year's fcbd spidey that's set in this "brand new day" theres a female red headed superhero calling herself "jackpot" that looks alot like MJ.......

i like the whole "spidey unmasked during the civil war, no one quite remembers whose face was under the mask" ok fine then lets take a look @ one of the hundreds of photos that were taken or a replay of the live news feed "hey looks its Peter Parker" and if MJ is Jackpot i'm waiting for some writer to put in the dialog that when some villians punches her she say's " hey tiger, not just anyone hits the jackpot"

my lcs said that for everyone 1 person that dropped spidey someone that does'nt/had'nt been buying has said "hey sounds good lets give it a try!!!! me i'm gonna pass on the whole thing, its strange that in comics you don't want Peter smoking, drinking, doing drugs etc...... because he's a role model to children & adults the world over, but lets have him make a deal with the devil!!!!!!!

What do you mean that it doesn't "count"? I don't follow your logic, since Previews isn't the only "vendor" who carries exclusives. Would you say that it didn't "count" had ShopAFX.com picked up a BTTF exclusive to distribute instead of BTTF.com? its about previews exclusive's, your's is a bttf exclusive not a previews one (and better then the one's previews has done as yours has a guitar!!) so previews should, fingers crossed give us an exclusive with people from the 3rd film of course you could give us another exclusive..... just to give us more bttf figures! any way what i mean is for every box set DST does theres a previews exclusive to compliment it (24 day 2 being the exception)

Honestly, I have no scientific answer for that. You would think that early waves would be the hardest to find, but it doesn't seem to be the case here. Don't get me wrong...both Symbiote Spidey and Black Elektra are difficult to find and generally on the expensive side. But its my opinion that Stealth Iron Man surpasses their rarity, and most times, the prices these figures typically fetch. Why? I really don't know. The wave was not a short run and the particular charater does not tend to garner more popularity than Spider-Man. It is a bit of a mystery to me, but fairly evident, none-the-less. Anyone disagree? no i agree i think there were more of the 1st couple of wave's made(they made a big roll out!!!), then when they knew the initial sale figure's for those wave's they cut back the later waves to just those sale figures, thus making the wave that had iron man in, not hard to find, but once they were gone, they were gone gone

at the moment by not by not giving us any info DST seem like anchor's .................. is that the right word, i forget i know it sounds the same...... but serouisly by not telling us anything it's not doing themselves any favors when is the big toyfair that's early in year January/february if they don't give us any info and there's no marvel mates on display then, well....................... personally i hope they have wave's 21, 22, 23 & 24 on display

So with all the news of so many new box set's i thought i would see what people would want from the "exclusive's" that we get from previews the way i see it we should still get one for rocky 2, bttf 3 (i know we've got 3 set's already but i don't think the bttf exclusive count's) so whats on the way or is already out, that needs exclusive 2 pack's well...... classic bsg (one for the good guy's one for the bad): tigh & athena? silence of the lambs: FBI training starling and her boss? bttf 3: ????? rocky 2: ?????? for a few dollars more: ???????

see these clearly are'nt toys aimed at children...... "here you go little boy you you to can re-live the adventures of your favorite cross dressing seriel killer and a mad but brillant man that eats people" anyway my point is these won't availble for most in the UK because DST won't pay for safety test to prove its ok for children to play with these !!!!!!!!!

i think it depends on if they know you and no you collect minimates (so saying your from the multiverse helps lol), a couple pound more, i normally buy by the case so i've never checked

my lcs based in plymouth have some coming over from the states as we speak (i'm waiting on a set aswell) they got naffed of waiting for the UK supplier to get them, they take paypal and ship recorded delivery at no extra cost, their wave one's were £15 a set (without variant) so the wave 2 should be the same hope this helps ltded@blueyonder.co.uk

ahhh bsg wave 2 i had some in my case that all you had to do was sneeze on them and they opened, there was hardly any glue holding them down

Nuts! I forgot how good she looked in that movie. And grats for your interview in the Reporter and your work getting BTTF into the registry! That's really awesome how your community came together to do that. Also, for those visiting Austin in February, there's a special screening of BTTF. The best theater in the country, Alamo Drafthouse, is hosting a screening of Back to the Future with Master Pancake Theater. MPT is a group of three guys that make comments and do a couple skits about the featured movie, similar to Mystery Science Theater. I've been seeing them for years, and it should be a fun show. i forgot how hot she was, i'm gonna have to go back and watch all the BTTF films this weekend with my gf................ and all the right moves (if you've seen it you'll know why!!!!) & maybe Howard the duck......

and to go with that good news the lcs has come up with a deal to get their minimates imported in for a " good price" starting with spider-man 3 .... coming soon..... in about a week!!
