I picked this up a few months back when the DCD Mates were announced I'm kind of bummed I need to pick up the Batman and Superman packs to get my remaining chairs, but it might be worth it in the end. While I will agree with MPL's assessment of Bat's and Supe's, it doesn't mean they wouldn't have a chair :tongue: Guess I'll be on the lookout for these after I catch up on my required reading in the forums

Having worked with Ady in the past, I know his dedication to things when he puts his mind to it I think it definately shows how popular his forum is, when he was worried about the amount of members knocking out the site. There alot of forums out there that can't say the same :tongue:

I'll see what my local CBG has to say on the matter gang. Since if they've been pushed back, his order will be cancelled and he'll have to wait until they're resolicited again. If anyone should find out in the meantime, please let the rest of us know.

If anyone needs some help getting these, let me know and I'll check my local Suncoast/FYE's again. Like always, cost + shipping once I find them I didn't stop back by Suncoast when I was out and about today, but it's only the next town over and no biggie. I'm thinking with January coming to a close, you should be seeing them more and more. Since inventory should be done and restock should be showing up weekly. I can't remember, but I think Thursday is shipment day?

Oh, I think both DSTChuck and DSTMatt have great senses of humor and thick skin TBT. I wouldn't worry, I'm sure they get the joke I think when you have to worry is when members get overzealous in their questions and don't like the reply they were given I'm sure that DST will continue with the Q&A here, since it's a large fanbase and they can reach more of their consumers/market here. Ady has done a fine job and I think he knows it by the way he's worried about the site going down temporarily. Keep up the fine work guys, I'm glad I can get my Minimate answers somewhere still

Yeah, I think that date is what my local CBG said to me last week AJL and he's pretty excited This is definately going to be a long month for sure Hopefully the scales haven't changed on these, as I look forward to how they make the Mates proportionate to each other. While I know that both DST and some fans worry about this move with DCD, I think these will fit in fine with our other Mates. I definately look forward to seeing pics of members Mates having battles between the multiple universes

Jules, you might try signing in, that's basically what I did. While we might be on the roster, I couldn't sign in. Which is how I checked to see if my account was handled the way I wanted.

:tongue: Do you have to ask MPL? I recently rediscovered TAS while I was moving my collection upstairs and my cats downstairs. While I didn't really watch the episodes, I found when I was listening how strong some of these episodes were I know that this was always a heated topic in the AA Forum, but I still enjoy this series of Trek and it's canon to me :biggrin:

^^You know Shanester, it's funny you say that. When I was down and talking to Donna and Adam at SDCC, I pretty much told them the same thing. I told them to leave the forum down, between Ady and FHC's site, they had the fans covered. Just make toys and have fun doing it and don't worry about a forum, it's not worth all the headaches. It's also funny you mention Brandon, I've signed onto MSN IM several times and he hasn't bothered to contact me or say BOO!! As far as the Trek fans, your observations are correct to some degree. While there are more negativity than I remember, there are still some good folks, same as the Minimate fans. The funny thing is, we haven't had much of that negativity poor into our forum, thankfully. I'm definately not on our forum as much as I was when I moderated over at AA's forum, that's for sure. Not sure about you or Jules now, but my account has been deleted per my request. Definately funny what TheTruth said in their last post, I wonder who this is? Definately someone who knows the score for some reason or has just paid attention to the forum through the year. As others have said, I think it's unfortunate for that person to be called a troll, simple because their looking for some of the same answers we were when we were members and staff. Face facts gang, even if someone from AA was standing in front of you/us, you would never hear the real reason we were dropped from the staff and where your compensation is. It would be the blame game, if anything and that just doesn't fly with me. Which is why I've moved on, as Ady pointed out a looong time ago, that forum is a poor, pale reflection of it's former self.

Yeah, somehow that one and the other aliens(besides the Klingon) evaded my attention as a kid. I didn't know these existed until some of the folks with better memories brought this up in other Trek forums early in my online experiences :tongue:

Yep, you are correct as always Ady :biggrin: $19.99 + tax($4 something per Cylon) for the set, seemed a fair price for me. Depending on the FYE and whether there's a Suncoast in the mall, one or the other should have them eventually. From what it looked like, they had just hit my Suncoast today and it only looked like maybe a case? Since they closed down the Suncoast in my local mall, all of the collectibles should be going to FYE. Since they had more toys than I remembered from my last visit. Cappy, Sam Goody is part of FYE/Suncoast family. Unfortunately in your neck of the woods(Alderwood at least), they've been replaced with FYE. Going to send you a pm after I'm done here. TC, why did you pay so much when Stuckakid has a case for $59.99? You could have traded off your extra sets with someone on the board, couldn't you? This has been one of the rare occassions I've been thankful for a cold taking me out of the game for a bit. Hopefully Cappy's right and we'll start seeing more Minimates hitting mainstream retailers again.

No, don't bother as that's included in the Season 1 set(someone back me up on this). It's basically the pilot for the show that kicked everything off, so just ignore it. Not sure if your family is getting them online or in a store, but you might use this site for price comparison's. I'm not sure if he's wetting himself over at the forum, since he preferred the 9" Playmates to these But I definately think nostalgia will take over, like most of us, once DST announces more than just Kirk and Spock I have to ask though, what isn't DST doing? This is definately turning into a banner year for their company and I look forward to the multiple lines, even if my bank account isn't :tongue:

Not trying to rub salt in those that already picked these up. But it reminds me of paying a few dollars more for the AXM sets at my local shop, then coming home after the holidays and finding them on the shelves at Target As Cappy pointed out, most of our Suncoast's have dried up, but I recommend checking out Sam Goody and Fye. They don't have as much as Suncoast did, but they are getting better.

Yeah, I'm going to stick to my 360 and call it good until the Blu-Ray-HD Wars are over While I'll be one of the last to purchase either one anytime soon As far as the Wii and the Playstation? I'm going to pass, neither one are giving me that warm and tingle feeling I have with my 360(and I haven't even hooked it up to the internet yet ).

Yeah, it seems with the cost of oil still at a premium, the BAF's have been scaled down a bit But it will be interesting to see how these Futurama line does. I'm pretty excited though and still kick myself for not picking up gold Bender when I had a chance. But like any line, I worry about them not doing his elseworld cronies
