Another thread that mentions the Falcon. Arghhhhhhh... I just want Snap Wilson aka the Falcon. Can we get some kind of write in campaign or something? Captain America Falcon Modok Red Skull That would be a great set. Did I mention the FALCON?

Any minimates are good news for me especially if they are Marvel based. The punisher is awesome and I will purchase this quickly. Considering that we pay about $20 for each box set, it is worth it for me if we get a kick-butt Punisher with big guns. I would probably pay this much just for the one figure so the rest are just bonus. Honestly, going to the movie and buying popcorn and snacks will probably cost me more than $20.

Iceman, Electro, and Constrictor are certainly amongst my "grails". I'm always hoping to find some tucked away in an obscure lot in some badly titled eBay auction . I too was a fan of the Secret Wars. Sadly, I never had the Falcon. I do have him in Marvel Legends, Marvel Gold, Mego, and Famous Covers. The Famous Covers version was awesome. Now just give me him in 'mate form!!!

Forget all of the crappy offshoots of the Avengers, my Minimate collection will not be complete until I have an original Sam Wilson (Falcon). He was one of the first black heroes and was still the coolest of all times.

I just read the thread about starting sports mates. How about American Gladiator mates? That would rock!!! Each pack could contain a gladiator and a contender. There could even be playsets for the different events. We could even get a variant Hulk Hogan announcer. I know that Jakks Pacific is going to be making action figures but this would be completely different. Just a thought.

I have to ask, did you get the obligatory 'invisible eye-roll' that I just assume I am always getting when I mention anything toy related to my wife? It's usually followed by 'Oh, really. That's interesting.', which I know she is always lying about. And yes, I think the Beast was the best of the little news we got. Of course, I'm still hoping for him in an original X-Men boxset sometime. You told your wife??? Mine has no idea of the extent of what I have in minimate form let alone how much I have spent on them over the last three years. You are braver than I am.

I would agree with most of you that Wolvie is likely the next two sets. My hope is a movie set like mentioned numerous times in this thread but also a more comic based Wolvie set. I don't know about anyone else but the best news for me was the Beast figure debuting at SDCC. While he is not my favorite character (or even X-Man) I was pumped because we were getting the last piece for the original X-Men team. I don't count the Sheepdog version released previously. I couldn't wait to see what he would look like without the Skrull face so I used the paint program to quench my curiosity. Enjoy.

I just got back from seeing Hancock with Will Smith. As I sat in the movie I couldn't help wondering about how cool it would be to get these in minimate format. Hancock(bum)/Ray Hancock(superhero)/Mary Police Chief/Red (removable claw hand) It was a good movie and the minimates would be cool too bad it won't ever happen.

Me!!! I just wish they would have done Beastboy (changling) before the set ended. The entire TT lineup from the cartoon would have been great.

My Vote goes to the one that will never happen. ALPHA FLIGHT- Guardian Aurora Shaman Puck I can't see us getting a Sasquatch unless they used some form of the new Hulk minimates to bulk up the character. The Penguin from the DC sets could be used for Puck. Maybe we could get Northstar for those who are more politically correct.

I too am a family man. I actually use a mileage check that I get from work to support my mini-habit. No one knows how much I actually spend on these things and it is probably a good thing. I share your pain, I was going to quit after I got a few marvel sets, then after some of the c3 sets, then dc, now battlestar...etc. I do have to admit that I would sell my blood before my mini's

I will never forget it because I was on vacation, I picked up a Spiderman/Carnage 2-pack from the initial waves for $6.99. I got violently ill and spent two days in bed. I don't think it was the mates though. The next one was Daredevil from ebay for around $5. DD was the last MM I was going to purchase by the way. I think that I have over 200 now, who knew?
