Nicely put Danny, I'd also like to add that we should be out there spreading the word on how great minimates are! I know 11&12 aren't super exciting and we think the parts and character reuse is a bit of a let down, but they have come back with waves of 2 of Marvels biggest comic books after a year away, that is a smart move if you ask me. However we've not seen 14 & beyond... 12&13 were in Chucks words 'done that way to get something out after such a long gap' Keep the faith guys and lets make sure this line is a success. T. p.s. Yep pimping Darktide to the masses is something we should be doing too, go on tell your neighbour to buy it for their kid!

Rumor has it there are no minimate exclusives this year at the cons... ..but we have been wrong before! T.

OK folks I'm curious... Exactly how did we respond to Dark Tide? I know the movie was short (perfect for MiniJeffs attention span ) and the mini's were remakes but as an exercise in getting the minimates to mass market how did it fair and how much did we support it? Mass Market is possibly a huge thing for minimates as the more people that buy them the more variety they can make. Did the packaging grab you? - did it stand out amongs the brightly coloured toys? Was it easy to find? - was is displayed nicely or thrown on one of the low shelves? Should it have been elsewhere in the store?- would it have made sense to put half the stock with the Kids DVD's rather than jsut the toys? Let me know how you think it did and what it was and wasn't doing right. T.

I say yes to small banner ads... With the following caveats... Keep them relevent and not overwhelming in size Any money made should be used for hosting fee's and compo prizes, we dont want postcards from Ady in the Bahamas saying 'thanks guys' (not that that would happen). I understand that this place needs funding to survive, and I dont think Ady should haveto bear the brunt of it singlehandedly. T.

yep Shane is right it's more a sort of indifference to the old Trek sections.... As for love from minimates... I still think they put chemicals in them that are slowly released to make you addicted T.

Thanks Antacost, Luke etc... Coming from guys who do the quality stuff you do I consider that a huge compliment. My customs aren't always the most 'technical' but I'm glad you guys 'get' the feel I was trying for with Cappy & Banner... T.

Funny you should say that... I was contemplating email Adam to see if we can get an update on when the site will be back and when we can expect the next releases. Lets wait til tomorrow to see what ships and go from there T.

Sadly I was 'reborn' into the age of sprites.... 8 bit computers (my true first loves... *cough*geek*cough*) relied on them very heavily... so I knew exactly what the deal was... Someone should get round to animating them... T.

A couple of quickies for you... Nothing to get excited about just a couple of quick customs as a bit of fun. Off duty Capt America, I like the idea of a trench coat to hide the uniform but he doesn't take off the chainmail as he's never totally 'off duty' Post hulkout Banner Because I had the parts and could - yes I know I need to clean the legs up a bit but hey! I also want to do a transforming to hulk Banner to complete the series T.

I'd be up for something "repacked and re-giggled" as long as there's something! The point was there has been nothing to repack or rejiggle... At SDCC it will be a full year since the last wave of anything that isn't Street Fighter and I think they have burnt out on variants of them. $10 says there will be Marvel 12&13 or maybe the BSG wave and nothing else. T.

DST Has Exclusives... Just not minimate Exclusives... AA normally sell somethign recent repackaged and re-giggled, last yrs FF set was an example, my guess is that we will see them pushing marvel 12&13 instead of an exclusive... maybe 12&13 will be their exclusive. T.

What do you mean? If there is a variant it will have to be one per case. That's exactly what I was trying to find out! In that case I might get a case and hope it's one of each plus a variant, and trade the variant for the golden IM if it's one of the others T.

Word On the street and from chuck was no minimate exclusives.... AFX have announced their exclusives and there's no minimates, not surprising since it's '1 yr later' and last years figuers are on clearance at their store. I dont think we will see and 'con exclusive' minimates this year..... T.
