  1. This would be the perfect time to do a couple of customs I've been thinking about - Lady Blackhawk and the Emerald Empress. Count me in. Other Suggestions (if you still need them Antacost): Cheetah Star Sapphire Circe Talia Old-Style Catwoman Starfire Raven Troia Terra Katana Halo Crimson Fox Dr. Light Vixen Supergirl
  2. I am kinda annoyed that they used it without permission - but it is just a mock-up. The designer probably grabbed images off Google to use for image placement. However, if the final version is still using my custom, then I'll really be annoyed! It is nice to know my work is appreciated though. And Nestlé - all my customs are already online at my site - go check them out!
  3. I was looking at the new packaging, and I noticed that some the the Minimates have new faces (was Spider-Woman grimacing like that before?). Then I looked at the last Avengers group shot, and noticed that Spider-Woman had a new face. And new hair. And looked completely different, but really familiar. In fact, I think it's the custom I made a few years ago. The Packaging Mock-up: My Spider-Woman custom: Stinkin' thieves!
  4. A gray variant Hulk would be cool. But if they do make a variant, it'll probably just have a different head. What about this - A 12" Hulk that snaps open and houses a puny Banner figure?
  5. There's a few Minimates out there with clear hair - the Unmasked Spider-Man hair is clear underneath the paint. Which just gave me an idea for a possible custom...
  6. All Minimates start featuring rooted hair, just like a Barbie doll.
  7. There's a few things I still need to try, but when I have the best way to remove the paint, I will let you know.
  8. I'm with Ady - those look pretty neat, and would look better in my collection.
  9. Minimate Spidey has a press conference where he reveals his secret identity of Minimate Peter Parker to the world.
  10. Yup - the hair on Phoenix and Firestar is clear and just painted over. And as soon as I find an easy and foolproof way to finish stripping the paint, I'm going to use one for a custom I have in mind.
  11. In fact, I just got it today. Thanks! To keep this on thread - I would support Penny Arcade Minimates. Funny stuff.
  12. When DC introduced their Pocket Heroes line, they released Wonder Woman early to drum up interest in the line? Could they be doing the same thing here?
  13. White Sasquatch comes from the first run of Alpha Flight. At one point, Sasquash is taken over by the one of the evil Great Beasts, and to stop him, the shapeshifter Snowbird transformed into an all-white version of Sasquatch, and proceded to kill him. Later, Alpha Flight was able to retrieve Sasquatch's soul, and he ended up in possession of Snowbird's body. So while alive again, he was trapped in a woman's body, but was able to become the all-white Sasquatch. Sasquatch is now back to his usual all-male, all orange ways now.
  14. Hear hear! The "Spider Sense" Spidey dates back to when Steve Ditko was drawing the book, and I think the figure really nails it. When I saw him the first time, I was impressed that Ar Asylum would make a figure like that, and it gave me hope that they would produce Minimates from throughout the vast history of the Marvel Universe. Instead I got 27 different Wolverines. Anyway - Marvel Minimate I hate the most? Cable, because AA got lazy. When I think Cable, I want big pointless shoulder pads, lots of pockets, and a big square gun. Instead we got a Cable in generic blue overalls. They didn't even put the seams in his metal arm. Colossus got seams - why couldn't Cable?
  15. Hey, I read Legion! (and it does indeed rock and/or roll) But I voted for the Justice Lords anyway, because there's a slim chance we're going to get Legion Minimates in the DC Minimate line. Justice Lords Minimates - never. I did vote for Next Wave, because the comic rocks and rolls like a blender in a cement mixer.
  16. So beautiful. Why does it have to be a year away?
  17. Gotta go with Catwoman - they nailed her appearance, plus gave her unique accessories.
  18. I'd take that one too. Maybe I should move him up the customs list...
  19. - Comics (Want to freak out a mover? Show them a collection of 30+ long boxes) - Marvel Legends figures
  20. Announced: Battle-Suit Luthor Wanted: Jack Knight Starman. Or Metamorpho. Or an old-school Brainiac, back when he was all robotic and silver.
  21. I'd like to see bigger pictures of your customs, too. Looks like some unique ideas and good work there.
  22. Why all the monkey hate? What did monkeys ever do to you? And I should have remembered Monsieur Mallah and Beppo. Maybe they can be in the next wave, with Titanno, Congorilla, Solivar, and the Gorilla Boss of Gotham City. Man, DC has a lot of monkey characters...
  23. It's my pleasure. I'm all about spreading the love.
  24. Hmmm, Detective Chimp...How about an all-monkey set? Detective Chimp, Gorilla Grodd, Gleek from the Wonder Twins, the Ultra-Humanite and a Beast Boy (in monkey form)?
  25. Well, my Master Plan actually involves carefully replacing world leaders with mentally-enslaved clones and destablizing the economy. And there's strippers. It's a pretty complex plan. Glad to see you here too, Psychopanda. I'm excited about the DC Minimates myself. And more customs coming soon - I've got a couple more semi-obscure DC customs almost ready to go.
